31/05/2025: -Waited for food for over an hour -sangria was awful, it was old wine without any sweetness of sangria -burrito was tasteless, it was dry and the rice was boiling hot and soggy

28/05/2025: Unfortunately, it was an average experience... we started with the red sangria, and it tasted like cheap wine. Normally, there's a little juice in a sangria... there were two apple segments and two orange segments, that's it. We had the El Salvador nachos, which were very good, I recommend them. The main courses were very disappointing... I had the tacos. First, there wasn't any guacamole, it was just avocados, and they weren't ready. They were very hard, and they weren't very good. Also, the chicken was so dry and the breading was so overpowering that it took up half the taco, and they only put salad on top to hide it. I would have liked to tell my waitress, but she never came back to see us. As for the chorizo ​​burrito, it was good, but the side was rather disappointing... 3 chips and that's it. The avocado quesadilla was very good, but once again the avocados weren't ripe enough. Pros: Several vegetarian options were available on the menu. The owner was there and was very kind! Cons: Some items on the menu, as well as the atmosphere, were lacking. We went on a Wednesday around 8 p.m., but there were only three tables full in the restaurant, which wasn't very festive.

22/06/2025: Zero welcome; reservation after 40 minutes not even to ask I bring you a drink. The waiter made a mistake with the order, in all the times are getting longer and longer. We had a table for 5 two eat the rest watch, to be specified while waiting for the same dishes. Dry pizza overcooked. Average high price!! Lack of professionalism! There are better..

22/06/2025: Absolutely nothing arrived except the beers. After two and a half hours we left without eating! The worst thing is that the waiters, given our constant complaints about the wait, made fun of us by reassuring us that everything would arrive in 5/10 minutes. At the table, among other things, there was a 2-year-old girl, who wanted to eat the chips, which never came out. Not to mention the science fiction interpretation of the menu, they also ask you the time of birth to be able to view it!

17/11/2024: The ideal place for a rural Sunday, where you can taste excellent raw materials such as truffles and mushrooms. Generous portions, genuine earthy flavours, which have nothing to envy of the now inflated "gourmet".

06/09/2024: Acerno è un piccolo paese in provincia di Salerno. Il Tartufo è un grande ristorante in Acerno. Sotto la guida del pronto Sergio (nella sistemazione fin da piccolo) il ristorante sforna prelibatezze sopraffine. Da non perdere: ravioli grandi ripieni di ricotta da gustare con sugo fresco (miglior scelta), in bianco con funghi porcini o co tartufi. Stessi condimenti per le ottime tagliatelle fatte in casa. Come secondi, superbo l'agnello con patate al tegame. Ancora meglio quello al forno, ma bisogna essere almeno in tre e prenotarlo il giorno prima. Si mangia anche all'aperto sotto gli alberi

08/06/2025: Una gustosa cena in un borgo incantato. Un'ottima colatura di alici e una deliziosa parmigiana di melanzane, provola e alici. Servizio eccellente con camerieri gentilissimi e disponibilissimi. Meraviglioso anche il posto. Consigliatissimo!

21/06/2025: Recommended by a friend, we tried the fish tasting as an appetizer: definitely excellent. The hostess was kind and attentive. Salvatore and Gladis (hoping it's written like that) were very kind and ready to satisfy the customer's requests.. absolutely pleasant babà. I give 4 stars only because, due to the appetizer (abundant) we didn't try the first courses. But we will return! Highly recommended

23/04/2025: thanks to previous reviews I found myself in this place. amazed to find some sacred images very close to me: the Madonna del Soccorso, the Madonna of Pompeii and the Holy Face... as if on purpose we sit under the image of the Madonna del Soccorso. the furnishings and antique objects make the location very special, giving that warmth and transmitting those traditions maintained over time. beyond this which influenced us for a moment, the pizza was really good. even if it is quite far from my home we will return with immense pleasure. Nowadays going out means spending but when you are satisfied the pleasure doubles. ahhh one thing not to be underestimated is that the prices are really modest compared to the (really excellent) quality offered

18/06/2025: Food was average. Really small portions for the price. To call a taxi they made us wait like 20 minutes and the staff had a really bad attitude. Didn’t like it at all. Only good thing was the view.

18/06/2025: Palazzo Avino is a stunning place to stay — the pink style is so elegant, stylish, and clean. Our room was very comfortable, and the sea view over the Amalfi Coast was breathtaking. The whole hotel feels peaceful and beautifully kept. Only small downside was that email communication wasn’t the most efficient , but everything was still sorted before we arrived.

27/03/2025: We ate (they make it on Thursdays) pizza with wholemeal flour cooked in a pan and in a wood-fired oven. We tried the marinara and the diavola, both very good. Really excellent and light dough. Great ingredients and great flavor. Really friendly staff and great service overall. Standard but low prices for the quality of pizzas and ingredients. We will be back

23/03/2025: I was just here during the busy lunchtime at 2:15 PM yesterday. Local friends all recommended this place to me. It's super friendly with a family-like atmosphere, absolutely delicious food and reasonable price. I loved everything they served: a glass of white wine, octopus salad, zucchini, and some bread. The total cost was €16. I’d definitely recommend it. My time in Salerno is limited, but I’d love to go back for more of their delicious food!

14/06/2025: Very well stocked menu, meat and fish. The pizza is also good. The restaurant is spartan in terms of decor and location but also suitable for parties. Outside patio where you can eat.

17/05/2025: Cibo buono e abbondante,oltre a ristorante e anche pizzeria ,atmosfera famigliare e tranquilla,prezzi nella norma per qualità/prezzo,servizio rapido e cortese, ovviamente sé il locale non è troppo affollato altrimenti bisogna attendere il tempo necessario,proprietario disponibile e amichevole ,con parcheggio, possibilità di mangiare all' aperto nel periodo estivo a pochi chilometri dal centro della cittadina di Battipaglia

06/05/2025: Multiple visits +10 to this lovely restaurant 😋 From the arrival it is clear that this is run by a family - with the ♥️ Fresh food, lovely attentive service and knowledgeable within wine pairings too. The view is stunning both from inside, but the balcony is incredible both mornings and evenings 😲 The food seems very fresh and it is so tasty - I have never tried something which is not tasty or fresh and I particularly love the seafood with the bubbles 😋 🍾 Best experience was the rise of the red full moon. WAUV! Go there for the food, wine and ambience ... come again for the lovely family and stunning view 😍 Grazie a tutti / Il Re Della Danimarca ;)
