il Parnaso In Castellabate

Motivato dalla voglia di mangiare cucina tipica cilentana rifuggendo dai ristoranti costieri, ho voluto recarmi su a Castellabate incuriosito dalle recensioni di questo bellissimo ristorante. Innanzitutto il ristorante è ampio, arredato bene e ha una terrazza che offre una vista su Castellabate e il mare. Siamo stati accolti dal proprietario Costantino, che con la sua simpatia e affabilità ci ha intrattenuto dandoci consigli su cosa mangiare. Abbiamo optato per le polpette di melanzane eccellenti e per il tris di verdure ugualmente eccezionali. Ci ha consigliato poi i primi con la pasta fresca fatta dalla moglie e abbiamo scelto i fusilli al ragù cilentano e i tonnarelli alici e pomodoro, entrambi buonissimi. Per secondo abbiamo provato la salsiccia arrosto con le patate mantagliate, il tutto innaffiato con dell'ottimo vino aglianico. Il conto giustissimo in relazione alla qualità e quantità del cibo offerto. Ho apprezzato molto il menù, sia la grafica che i messaggi veicolati: avvisi ai genitori di bambini ma soprattutto la volontà ferma e precisa di servire la vera cucina cilentana, bandendo tutte le contaminazioni (come si può leggere dalla foto al menù) Concludendo, consiglio fortemente a chi è appassionato di tradizione culinaria, di vivere questa bellissima esperienza. Attenzione alle indicazioni del navigatore perché molto spesso indica una strada sterrata da non percorrere in nessun modo.

Motivated by the desire to eat typical Cilentan cuisine, avoiding coastal restaurants, I wanted to go up to Castellabate intrigued by the reviews of this beautiful restaurant. First of all, the restaurant is large, well furnished and has a terrace that offers a view of Castellabate and the sea. We were welcomed by the owner Costantino, who entertained us with his friendliness and affability, giving us advice on what to eat. We opted for the excellent aubergine meatballs and the equally exceptional trio of vegetables. He then recommended the first courses with fresh pasta made by his wife and we chose the fusilli with Cilento ragù and the tonnarelli with anchovies and tomatoes, both delicious. For the second course we tried the roasted sausage with mantagliate potatoes, all washed down with some excellent Aglianico wine. The bill was very fair in relation to the quality and quantity of the food offered. I really appreciated the menu, both the graphics and the messages conveyed: warnings to parents of children but above all the firm and precise desire to serve true Cilento cuisine, banishing all contamination (as can be read from the photo on the menu) In conclusion, I strongly recommend anyone who is passionate about culinary tradition to live this wonderful experience. Pay attention to the navigator's instructions because very often it indicates a dirt road that should not be traveled on under any circumstances.

If you want to try typical Cilentan cuisine without frills and contamination, taste local and genuine products cooked with skill and passion, you absolutely must go to Parnaso. The environment is very welcoming and enjoys a spectacular view!

We spent 15 days in Castellabate and with our family we had the opportunity to go to Parnassus twice. The first time we went after realizing that here we could find traditional dishes unlike 90% of the restaurants in the area that offer things for tourists. On our first visit we had the opportunity to taste dishes with authentic flavors, it felt like we were eating the dishes that my grandmother once made. For this reason we returned a second time and speaking with the owner we discovered that many of the raw materials used come from their field. If you want a restaurant where the raw materials and their seasonality are respected, whether we are talking about vegetables or fish which is strictly local, this is the place for you. I highly recommend it.

I ate at "Parnaso" twice with my family and I really hope to be able to return to enjoy more delicacies. A "divine" experience for those who love eating genuine, authentic, local food. We preferred to eat on the veranda which allows you to rest your mind and gaze on a breathtaking view, but the restaurant also offers a large internal room. Honored to have been able to converse with Costantino Ciardi, "host" of Parnassus, who shared memories, his culinary vision, his gastronomic culture.

Ogni volta che torno in Cilento, una tappa fissa è in questo speciale ristorante con vista sul mare e atmosfera romantica (grazie ai tavoli in terrazza, ma anche l'interno è accogliente e pare "sospeso nel tempo"). Anche quest'anno una conferma di qualità per tutto il menù. Superlative le verdure, molte dell'orto. Buonissime le alici. Da non perdere poi i cannoli di ricotta come dessert. A supervisionare il proprietario, Costantino, amante del territorio, che incanta con i suoi racconti, illustra il buon cibo e dalle chiacchiere nascono suggestioni e desiderio di scoperta. Ogni anno mi sento di consigliarlo sempre di più

Location con panorama mozzafiato sul mare, piatti straordinari e generosi. Costantino ci accoglie sempre al massimo!

Ein wirklicher perfekter Ort! Traum Ausblick und wirklich sehr gutes Essen. Überhaupt nicht touristisch und damit nicht zu stark besucht. Restaurant ist schön hergerichtet und der Service ist wirklich gut. Einfach super
