15/10/2025: Matriciana with a watered-down, bland sauce, and unremarkable roast pork. Nothing special, a meal more suited to a casual diner. €18 is even too much. The staff were very friendly and quick.

12/10/2025: Last night we dined at the "Ocamminista" restaurant, and were unfortunately disappointed by the experience. When we ordered, we were presented with a special menu for €18 per person, which included a choice of a first course and a second course from the menu, plus a drink. Both my wife and I decided to opt for this offer rather than ordering à la carte. However, when we received the bill, we noticed that the price didn't match the menu. When we reported the error to the cashier, we were treated rudely and told that the special menu was only valid Monday through Friday, with different prices on weekends. It's a shame this information wasn't included on the sheet we were shown. In conclusion, the lack of transparency and the rude treatment left a negative impression. We hope the restaurant can improve in the future.

02/11/2025: Beautiful place, warm atmosphere, good service, but the pizza was a disappointment. Even more disappointed was the response after I showed that the pizza was completely raw, so raw that the mozzarella was in pieces and hadn't even melted. The response was, "I'm sorry, but today is Saturday..." so I replied that because Saturdays are free, the pizza wasn't even given a discount, and at least I wasn't even asked if I wanted it remade. Anyway, I paid, and I'll never go back again.

28/06/2025: Impeccable stay! Structure in a very convenient location, with convenient parking on the street. The room is equipped with all comforts: clean, welcoming and attention to detail. The owners are very kind and excellent prices. Highly recommended!

20/10/2025: The food is very good, especially the homemade croquettes and pasta frittatas. Quality products. The pizza is very light, with excellent dough. The staff is kind and friendly.

23/11/2025: Pizza can be subjective depending on the type of dough and the various ingredients used, and we have nothing to say about that. But when it's a calorie-rich pizza, that's enough. This is my second consecutive bad experience at this pizzeria, both at the table and for takeout. It needs to be revisited and more careful with the cooking. Attached Photos:

17/11/2025: My wife and I stopped by on the highway heading back to Calabria. Despite it being 10 PM, they answered our call. We sat down at the pizzeria (just steps from the highway exit) and tried two croquettes (a classic one and a pistachio and mortadella one). The pizza was truly delicious: both the dough (modern) and the quality of the ingredients. We ordered a Margherita and a "Trip to Tropea" (really, really good). The place is run by a friendly and easy-going couple. Definitely worth trying again.

03/08/2025: We're talking about one of Battipaglia's historic bars. Over the years, it has gone through various eras in terms of content and clientele, shifting from a more jazz/rock style to a more "hip" vibe. It no longer enjoys its former popularity. It never excelled in the quality of its aperitivo, but currently it lacks both content and organization. It's a shame, because its location and central location give it great untapped potential.

03/11/2025: It's always a great pleasure to eat sushi at Izakaya... The restaurant is beautiful and orders are served quite quickly. The owner together with all the staff are very helpful and work well... The location is also excellent with ample parking

04/10/2025: Really nice food with a lot of options. However, you order through a tablet rather than a waiter which doesn’t feel very personal. Otherwise it’s a great experience.

15/09/2025: Not a great experience. Four of us had dinner last week. After a bit of a wait, they brought us the menu. We ordered three first courses and a meat-based second course. The service was incomplete, with no bread on the table. And after we'd eaten the first course of pasta with tomato sauce, we were charged a whopping €13.00, even though the menu stated €9.00. For three courses, that added a full €12.00 to the total. We wanted to have dessert each, but after waiting over 20/30 minutes, and the place wasn't at all crowded, we decided to leave. And I don't think we'll be back again.

08/06/2025: Not a very big pizzeria just outside the city, the Margherita pizza reminded me of the real Neapolitan pizza, the fried food is good, the service is not very fast since it does a lot of take-away.

17/10/2025: We had an amazing time at Hotel Savoia! We stayed here on our honeymoon. We could not have chosen a better place. We are both in our sixty’s and were able to get to everything from the hotel. We were able to be dropped off and picked up right outside of the front door. The walk down to the beach was much easier than I anticipated (still recovering from hip replacement). The views were more than I could imagine! We booked the jr suite and had plenty of room and two balconies. Everything was clean and beautiful. I saved the best for last. Everyone was so pleasant and attentive. We arrived to a bottle of champagne in our room with a handwritten note. Breakfast was delicious and our waitress greeted us with a smile and coffee every morning. The front desk was ready to help with smiling faces also. We were able to meet our room staff too and she was very sweet and accommodating. WELL DONE HOTEL SAVOIA!
