04/07/2026: Putea is located in a lovely little square in Cava, not far from the center but in a very quiet area. There's free parking. Two of us went on a very windy July evening: for these occasions, you need to bring tablecloth clips (or corner weights) and outdoor ashtrays, which they didn't have, so we stood guard throughout the dinner! We hadn't booked (that is, they didn't respond to our Instagram reservation from 6:30 PM for 9 PM), but they seated us anyway. Unfortunately, in the numerous posts they'd made promoting the bruschetteria, they'd neglected to specify that it wasn't possible on a Saturday night (perhaps, had I known, I'd gone there specifically for this, and would have done so during the week). So, we settled on a cheese board (14 euros for two) and a charcuterie board (14 euros for two), followed by a main course of cod with vegetables (20 euros for a good, but medium-small, piece, served without even refilling the appetizer bread). The service seriously needs reviewing: they poured me water and turned my glass upside down (and left it wet), they served us the charcuterie board and dropped a slice on the previous wet tablecloth, they took away the cheese board with a piece still on it and dropped it on the floor... help! If it weren't for the high quality of the ingredients, I would have given much less, especially because if you present yourself in a certain way, expectations rise... and you have to live up to them.

23/12/2025: I returned with my friends last night and will return soon with my partner again during these Christmas days, in this exceptional place managed in an excellent way, from the kitchen (simply extraordinary: trofie, mussels and clams creamed to perfection, with the chili pepper made by them which is a marvelous thing, bruschetta salted to the point of crunchy very tasty to pass the wait, fried fish that spoke of traditional home flavors unique to our land, tasty crunchy soft and very fresh! Do we then want to talk about the service? The courtesy of the incredible attention towards the customer? They treated us like queens! I noticed the courtesy towards all the customers, the availability, the attention, the elegance of the owner and the infinite discretion! Highly recommended today, tomorrow and always!

05/05/2026: We had dinner at this little place recommended by a local gentleman... We ate a portion of French fries, a large crocche with provola cheese, and two pizzas, a capricciosa and an ortolana... The appetizers weren't bad, the crocchettone had a strong milk and starch taste; I would have preferred it to be more authentic and simple... The pizzas were very crispy and hard, and the vegetables, unfortunately, were good but burnt and full of oil... We weren't satisfied, but I don't feel like giving it a low rating because sometimes there are not-so-great evenings.

17/05/2026: The waitress who served us showed no interest in understanding us or being understood (she spoke too fast despite us telling her we didn't understand the language). She took my phone to show me the menu without giving me a chance to choose it myself. She rushed us away with our plates even though we hadn't finished eating. The food was delicious, and that's the only reason for the stars. The price doesn't match the service.

12/05/2026: They've Changed...For the Worse We booked at 10:00 PM for 8 (6 adults, 2 children), and we arrived well in advance. They seated us at a table for 6 with the option of waiting outside again for a table for 8. We didn't sit down because we were hungry. The tables were practically 70cm apart. To avoid hurting ourselves, I alerted the lady at the other table, and she did the same for me. Fried foods, like the €8 trio of Montanarine, have evolved into "Beignets," three bites after the trio is finished. Embarrassingly large. Waiters: frankly, rushed and anxious. Ambience: This is what made the evening the most unpleasant. The excessive noise. There were 100 of us in a room that could seat about 60 people. It was SO noisy. It was difficult to converse with the other friends at the table. In fact, we stopped for dessert and headed to the nearest ice cream shop, where we finally started the evening. I understand it was Saturday night, but you deserve a word of advice: You built a veranda to increase the number of seats and perhaps customers, but the result was only to dissuade people from returning. The pizza was good, but...not worth it.

17/04/2026: Given that it was Easter Sunday and I am therefore aware that when there are crowds things don't always go well, but... two first courses were served with the exact same sauce, only changing the pasta shape (a real joke), and my celiac nephew was served a lunch that was nothing short of ridiculous despite everything having been booked, specified, and noted by the owner. Aside from the first courses, the rest of the food was also very disappointing, worthy of a company canteen and not a restaurant... paid 45 euros per person... noisy atmosphere, music at full volume that at times made even a small conversation between diners almost impossible. I won't be returning.
30/03/2026: Historic restaurant and pizzeria in Nocera Inferiore. We recently had some really good pizzas with escarole and sausage, mozzarella, and Neapolitan pizza. The service was quick despite the large number of customers inside and taking out. The place is clean, bright, and the staff were very friendly. They even offered us limoncello at the end. Excellent experience.

03/05/2026: I ate grilled chicken last night, it was delicious. I came for lunch, but waited for an hour because they don't usually eat at lunchtime here. We were hungry since midday, it was our first meal of the day. I'm from Thailand, I still have a lot to learn about the local food culture... The shrimp spaghetti wasn't fully cooked, but I was hungry so I had to eat it... The taste was average... Adding chili powder made it tastier in true Thai style, because we eat spicy food... The shrimp had very little meat... It was enough to satisfy my hunger... Last night I drank spoiled wine, but the staff had excellent service mind. They didn't charge me and even gave me an extra bottle of red wine... We had to use Google Translate to understand each other... No problem, next time I'll speak Italian to the staff myself. I'll learn to speak it properly this time.
14/04/2026: A top-notch restaurant. A very lively little restaurant with a wide variety of dishes. We stopped for pizza. My Ortolana was delicious. The dough and cooking method are reminiscent of times gone by, when pizza was primarily an artisanal creation, prepared by the skilled hands of housewives from Cilento and the Salerno area in general.
