I was in the area for work and decided to have dinner at this pizzeria I found on Maps. I ordered a Genoese-style pizza and a Nerano-style pasta frittatina. Both were very good and reasonably priced. The place isn't very big, but overall it's welcoming and clean, as is the bathroom. The only downside was the wait to order, but nothing too bad, especially considering the number of tables at the table.

We had one of the best pizzas ever! Light dough, quality ingredients, and truly exceptional flavors. But what made the experience even more special was the kindness of the owners: a truly wonderful couple, welcoming and super helpful. They even helped us find a taxi, since there are no buses in the area in the morning. It was truly a pleasure meeting people like them! If you're in Eboli or the surrounding area, you absolutely must stop by. Highly recommended!

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff, excellent takeout pizza that tastes like it was eaten there. Excellent, carefully selected ingredients. I recommend it to everyone, we'll definitely be back. Plus, Vincenzo (the pizza chef and owner) is so friendly, he makes you feel right at home.

18/09/2025: I went to this place for the first time with my girlfriend. I'd heard about "Monti la pizza fritta" and followed it on social media, but I'd never had the chance to try it. The place is located in the center of Battipaglia; you can park a few hundred meters away and walk. It's always a good idea to book on weekends to ensure a seat. This place has a very original look; as soon as you enter, it feels like you've stepped back in time, with a spectacular, meticulously designed setting. It makes a truly evocative impact, accompanied by delicious Neapolitan background music. We tried quite a few things: the frittatina, fries, fried pizza, bruschetta, and finally the fried dessert, all washed down with good beer. The menu is truly spoiled for choice. After ordering, you're given a light that sounds as soon as your order is ready. We sat down, and after just 10 minutes, our order was ready! Spectacular, fast service. Everything was delicious, and I didn't suffer from any stomach upset or acid reflux. I'm happy with this experience, and I'll definitely be spending more evenings there with friends. This place truly deserves five stars. YouTuber davidenet recommends MONTI la pizza fritta.
