25/04/2025: Excellent quality food, honestly I was unhappy with the service and the price and I'll explain why, we arrived at around 9:00 pm, we ordered at around 9:15 pm and the appetizer (excellent cold cuts and cheese platter) arrived an hour later, given that after ordering we had already received drinks and hot focaccia that was supposed to be consumed with the platter, as far as the price is concerned, if everything had been perfect there would be no objections, but if we waited an hour for a platter at least the bitters should be offered, given that we waited a short time for the pizzas. Overall I have to say that it was a pleasant experience.

22/04/2025: I went to this place for the first time with my husband after reading the positive reviews and I must say that the place is very beautiful... particular... with soft lighting. We decided to order some fried pizza dumplings and I can say that they were very good and then two pizzas but one of the two, precisely mine, was burnt and had holes in it. The dough is also good but it wasn't possible to eat half the pizza, I recommend being more careful when serving pizzas in this condition, despite everything I recommend trying this pizzeria for the type of soft dough.

21/03/2025: I happened upon it by chance on one of my trips, just to get a coffee. While I was drinking my drink I noticed out of the corner of my eye a tray kept on the back shelf of the display, inside some products with a singular shape, halfway between a croissant and a panzerotto. Intrigued, I asked what they were: calzones with escarole. I took one to take away while the kind barmaid described the filling to me. I paid and left. Continuing my journey I then decided to eat it. The dough was soft and fragrant, very well leavened, but when I bit into the filling, my eyes popped open... I HAVE IN MY HANDS ONE OF THE MOST TASTY THINGS I HAVE EVER EATEN! The flavor of the escarole, probably sautéed in a pan with onion, enhanced by an abundance of capers, anchovies and Taggiasca olives sent my taste buds haywire. An incredible delight. With every bite I hoped that the next one would be at least as good as the previous one, until the last bite when the tip of that strange croissant was pleasantly crunchy. Only after eating it did I imagine why they kept the tray in the back of the display: it was to protect that treasure chest of wonders! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! A note also for the place: familiar and comfortable, very clean toilets. Bravi! Bravi! Bravi!

19/03/2025: 3 persone, siamo entrati e dopo 10 minuti, con circa una decina di persone all’interno, dopo aver ripetutamente richiamato le cameriere per il servizio, siamo stati ignorati e costretti ad andarcene a mani vuote per entrare in orario scolastico.

06/04/2025: it must have been the fault of the eighteenth in the other room but we had to wait MORE than an hour and forty minutes for veal fillets (which were also quite small but priced at €18) cooked differently than requested. good service, the waiters were visibly desolate and apologized for the long wait. value for money, questionable. From what I've been told the waits aren't usually that long but I can only judge what I've experienced. nice place.

07/03/2025: We went with friends to this restaurant near Alfano (Sa) we were very enthusiastic about the excellent food, we took the Paddoccole of potato croquettes with goat's cheese, a traditional dish of the area, and several pizzas, attentive service and very very good prices, we will definitely return there on Saturday evening, it is almost always full, better to book. well done!👍🏻

23/03/2025: I was just here during the busy lunchtime at 2:15 PM yesterday. Local friends all recommended this place to me. It's super friendly with a family-like atmosphere, absolutely delicious food and reasonable price. I loved everything they served: a glass of white wine, octopus salad, zucchini, and some bread. The total cost was €16. I’d definitely recommend it. My time in Salerno is limited, but I’d love to go back for more of their delicious food!

23/10/2024: We were walmly welcomed, and dishes were very well explained. We enjoyed lunch there on two occasions during our brief stay in Salerno. Both were the specials of the day, catering for seafood, vegetarian and meat. Delicious, reasonably priced meals.

20/02/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Good burger, good price and a nice atmosphere La Birroteca in Salerno is a nice place for a good burger at a fair price. The food was tasty and exactly what you hope to get at a place like this. When we arrived, there happened to be a children's party going on, which made the whole experience even more fun. The atmosphere was lively, without being disturbing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which completed the experience. In addition, it is a perfect alternative if you want something different from pasta or pizza. The burgers are tasty and well prepared, so you still get a quality meal without always opting for classic Italian cuisine. Please note that you have to look through the window stickers to see if it is open. That is a bit confusing at first, but definitely worth checking. If you are in Salerno and fancy a tasty burger in a relaxed setting, this is definitely recommended!

17/11/2024: Qualità, varietà, estro e gusto sono gli ingredienti vincenti de La Birroteca, caratteristico pub situato a Salerno, in zona torrione. Location tipica – ispirata ai tradizionali pub inglesi – resa più esclusiva da luci calde e soffuse che rendono l’ambiente ancor più familiare e accogliente. Il menù è ricco e variegato: birre artigianali di grande qualità, ottime carni servite sia “a piatto” che in succulenti e giganteschi panini…senza nulla togliere agli sfiziosissimi antipasti, alcuni davvero nuovi e originali! Ma veniamo al nostro tavolo: ordiniamo due antipasti: polpette di melanzane e arancini di riso: entrambi aromatizzati al pistacchio. Che dire… un gusto e una croccantezza semplicemente da urlo! Continuiamo con un piatto (tagliata di petto di pollo con rucola e pomodorini) e un maxi hamburger di scottona in un morbidissimo panino. Qualità top e gusto eccellente! Annaffia il tutto un’ottima birra di frumento – weissbier bionda. Concludiamo col botto. Due dessert al cucchiaio: creme dolci servite in originalissimi vasetti… Li eleggo a “must have” della serata!!! Gentilissimo il personale: ragazzi attivi, veloci ed efficaci. Complimenti a Francesco, ovviamente, che coordina e gestisce tutto con grande attenzione e professionalità. Locale consigliatissimo a tutti coloro che amano provare qualcosa di originale, nuovo e che sono alla ricerca della qualità gastronomica con un OTTIMO RAPPORTO/QUALITA’ – PREZZO. Grazie Frank! 02/04/2025: Comfortable environment and friendly and in my case fast service (on a Sunday evening at 8pm). Spaghetti with clams perfect, tasty and al dente. Perfect vegetable side dish and delicious bread too. With half a liter of house wine. Total 28 euros, in the central area a stone's throw from the seafront.

26/03/2025: I happened upon this place by chance, the outside environment is a bit informal, while inside it is very nice and well-kept, I ate a very good first course and a side dish...as a good Bolognese I took two typical southern dishes, and they were exquisite Very attentive and kind manager. Last but not least the clean bathroom. To be recommended and I hope to return personally.

Protagonista del menù il baccalà, proposto in più versioni. Antipasto secondo disponibilità del giorno ben fatto e gustoso. Primi piatti curati e buoni. Fritto misto semplice ma freschissimo. Tris di baccalà ottimo. Prezzo giusto.

15/02/2025: Abbiamo prenotato in questo locale dove non eravamo mai stati, il personale è stato da subito molto gentile e ci ha messi a nostro agio. Abbiamo ordinato due antipasti, due primi ed una fruttura di pesce. E’ stato tutto molto buon no e anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo è buono.
