26/10/2025: We didn't book or see any reviews of Apron - just popped in off the street. I'm so glad we did as this was the best meal I've eaten in almost a month in Italy - the food was absolutely delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. Three courses with drinks for under €100 as well. I've had lots of great pizza and pasta in the last few weeks but Apron offers a different take on traditional Italian food and gets it totally right. I see Google lists Apron as a seafood restaurant and while there is definitely fish on the menu there are plenty of other options. Don't hesitate - go as soon as you can!

09/12/2025: I attended a panettone course with Antonio, a truly wonderful and helpful person. We bombarded him with questions, and he was very helpful in answering them all, even those not strictly related to the course in question. The course was truly spectacular, I think one of the few that really gets you hands-on. After years of trying it at home with less than satisfactory results, this year I'm completely satisfied with my panettone, and for that I have to thank Antonio, who taught us his method and kneading technique. For anyone interested in a panettone course, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!!!!

14/10/2025: I took the PIZZA EXPRESS course. Antonio, the course owner, dedicated himself with passion and expertise, teaching us both theory and practice, and getting us to "get our hands dirty." He had us practice with the dough and the oven, providing the right support, advice, and tips that allowed me to replicate the process at home. Highly recommended.

13/02/2026: You don't need to go to a seaside resort to enjoy excellent seafood. At Locanda Battisti in the center of Caserta, you can enjoy excellent seafood in various ways. The wine list is well-suited for a variety of pairings, from local wines and sparkling wines to national and international selections. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the discreet and competent staff will make you feel at home.

30/11/2025: The pizza is pretty good, but only during the week. Unfortunately, the service and reliability are ZERO. Especially on weekends, they make you wait for hours, delaying you by 10 minutes at a time, with no respect for your time, and no way to explain things as they are. I'm sorry, but I won't be returning; respect for the customer comes first.

25/01/2026: A unique experience, just like the place itself, special and one-of-a-kind... the owner, Dino 😎, is a special person who makes you feel right at home. In this old-fashioned place spread over three levels, you can eat in small, "private" spaces separated by walls covered with everything from the most unusual to the most insignificant, but not because of the person who gave it to you or put it there by the owner. A truly unique place... the food... even if it took a back seat for me, distracted by the location. I remember it well.

18/01/2026: A wonderful experience. Dino, the owner, welcomed us with a huge smile and a quick wit; a humble and super friendly man. This place is truly unique and beautiful to look at, unlike anything else. The food is excellent; we ordered a platter of carne di mano and Nero Casertano (black Casertano beef) at the recommendation of the waitress, who was also super friendly. I highly recommend this place; it's well worth it!

01/01/2026: What a pleasant discovery! I went there for lunch yesterday for the first time with my family. The place is cute and welcoming, but the real highlight is the staff, who immediately stand out for their friendliness and warmth. 🔝 Everyone was very satisfied, but my gluten-free pizza left me truly happy. 😊 Excellent dough, light enough that I could finish it without feeling half full, and the ingredients, especially the prosciutto, were top-quality. The slightly crispy crust, which I personally really like. All in all, an experience definitely worth repeating.

19/12/2025: A real disappointment! All that glitters is not gold! It's completely different from what is advertised and described! The pizza dough is a bit rubbery and soggy, not exactly easy to digest. The pizza was burnt in several areas (see photo) and the toppings were salty, especially the speck on the Montanara. It's well known that burnt products are bad for your health. The topping (braided DOP buffalo mozzarella) on the Vulcanica was tasteless. Furthermore, this pizza also had too much tomato sauce, making it soggy. The menu only includes four traditional pizzas; the others are all specials, with prices that don't match the quality. The service is a bit slow. IT'S NOT WORTH IT! NEVER AGAIN!

02/02/2026: A big shout out to this small but great burger joint, which not only makes a great sandwich for everyone, but also caters to those with intolerances and celiac disease. A delicious gluten-free sandwich, of excellent quality, that doesn't crumble and stays firm until the last bite, along with all its delicious ingredients. Well done, and a huge thank you.

07/03/2026: First time at this place, an experience to repeat. I followed the advice of the lady, who listed the off-menu dishes for us, and I ordered the truffle pizza, an explosion of flavor, delicacy, and lightness. Words and pictures are not enough to describe its deliciousness.

The venue was elegant, refined, and intimate; the lunch was top-notch and, above all, plentiful. Giuseppe and Gennaro were knowledgeable, true professionals in the field, and, above all, always available, like all the staff!

It turned out to be a wonderful discovery! The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere created was truly special, making the evening unforgettable for us and all our guests. We received compliments from all our guests, who were speechless!
