A very pleasant surprise; we weren't disappointed with the dishes we ordered. We had octopus salad as a starter, followed by seafood tagliatelle. One small comment: the service was a bit too fast. All the dishes arrived at once, just enough time to finish our aperitifs. 🤨

We couldn't have made a better choice. The B&B owner had given us a list of restaurants for dinner, and we chose based on proximity and what we wanted to eat. We were greeted kindly and professionally by a young woman, and the waiters and owner gave us excellent recommendations. The appetizers and first courses were spectacular, truly delicious! My compliments!

For high-end cuisine in Caserta, Locanda Battisti is a must-visit. Monica, the hostess, is impeccable, ready to immerse you in their welcoming atmosphere. A very contemporary venue, centrally located, with parking nearby. Excellent food, all seafood-based. You can't miss the selection of interesting and tasty appetizers, accompanied by the chef's signature dishes, reinterpreting classic fried dishes. The first courses were excellent; I chose spaghetti with garlic and oil on raw shrimp carpaccio... fantastic!!! The second courses, with very fresh fish... all excellent. The wine list offers a truly impressive selection, and... for dessert, the famous millefeuille deconstructed!! A place not to be missed!!!

Excellent restaurant in the center of Caserta. Excellent seafood. Elegant atmosphere and impeccable service. It's located near the Royal Palace of Caserta, and there's paid parking just steps from the restaurant.

Locanda Battisti is a real asset in Caserta! This historic, well-maintained restaurant is always very well attended (I highly recommend booking on weekends). Convenient nearby parking and welcoming, professional staff. The highlight is undoubtedly the seafood: truly exceptional raw appetizers, incredibly fresh and high-quality. The first courses are also excellent, well-prepared, and rich in flavor. If you're looking for high-quality seafood in Caserta, this is the place. Highly recommended.

21/04/2026: Amazing pizzas. Here you can eat authentic Neapolitan pizza, with a wide variety and quality ingredients at decent prices. The wood-fired oven is fully visible, and it's a sight to see the three people working together so quickly, preparing, topping, and baking, nonstop for almost three hours. Downsides: You'll leave with a headache. If you're looking for a relaxing evening, it's not the right place due to the crowds and the noise (unfortunately, many people don't know how to communicate properly). This is exacerbated by the fact that the tables are very close together.

26/04/2026: I had a rather disappointing experience at this ice cream shop. Yesterday afternoon, I was in line with my husband and, since I'm pregnant, the man at the cashier told me that only I could be served, while my husband would have to wait his turn separately. I didn't understand the reasoning behind this decision: we were simply ordering two ice creams; we weren't a large group. For this reason, I preferred to wait for my husband anyway and have his ice cream with him, but this meant we had to wait about an hour and a half. I'd like to emphasize that pregnancy isn't an illness, but often giving a little priority is a gesture of courtesy and consideration towards the customer. In this case, it would have taken very little to handle the situation with greater common sense and sensitivity. I hope that in the future, more attention will be paid to these aspects, because they really make a difference in the overall experience.
