Pizzeria del Corso - Cosimo Chiodi

04/08/2026: Mrs. Bice of the Casale di Riardo B&B, whom we'd asked for advice, directed us to this pizzeria.
We were greeted by the sister of "maestro" Cosimo, who enthusiastically guided us through the discovery of what we'd be enjoying. Her words conveyed all the love, passion, and care they put into their work.
While waiting for our pizza, we sampled their fried pizzas, which were truly excellent. Then it arrived: a Margherita a ruota di carro.
Maybe I'm exaggerating, but I think I ate the best pizza of my life. Thin crust, just the way I like it, with a perfect balance of tomato and mozzarella. Simply spectacular.
Now all we can do is hope they open in Milan one day. In the meantime, we'll happily wait until next year to try it again.

19/07/2026: Hi, I'm not a complainer, but believe me, I was there last night, Saturday, 5 people, we started with the appetizer, everything tasteless, bland, burnt, cured meats that it's better not to talk about. Then the meat arrived 🍖 5 steaks, 2 rare (COLD, TOUGH AND LET'S FORGET ABOUT IT). (3 WELL COOKED WITH EXAGGERATED HARDNESS) IN THE END EVERYTHING WAS TAKEN BACK FROM THE APPETIZER TO THE MEAT. WE ONLY DRINK WATER AND A BOTTLE OF WINE. (THE STRANGEST THING IS THAT THE GENTLEMAN WHO PROMOTES EVERYTHING SAW EVERYTHING PASS BEFORE HIS EYES FROM THE APPETIZER TO THE MEAT, BUT HE DIDN'T SAY "IS SOMETHING WRONG????? .... NOOOOO HE ONLY KNEW 150 EUROS 💶 THANK YOU. NOT EVEN A SATISFACTION TO HEAR YOU SAY BUT WHY DID YOU SEND EVERYTHING BACK??? . SOMETIMES THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT 150 EUROS IS NOTHING. BUT LOSING A LOT PEOPLE, IT'S SOMETHING BECAUSE WORD OF MOUTH IS MUCH MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE.

08/02/2026: A true gem in the square. The ice creams are simply superb: creamy, delicious, and made with quality ingredients. The desserts also deserve a special mention, always fresh and irresistible, each one better than the last.
