03/02/2026: It was our first time. We made a quick reservation with very little notice (on a Sunday), and they confirmed our table, specifying it was the one by the window. We later learned why it was the only free table, because it was located between the restaurant entrance and the restrooms. Next time we visit, we'll choose a better location. The mixed fried appetizer was good, the fried artichokes were good, but the portion was definitely small, unlike the generous and good-quality first courses. I'm used to eating the Genovese with the onions melting more easily, but I understand that the preparation for many people is different from home-cooked. Excellent second courses. We had the meatballs and grandma's ragù. The staff was always present and helpful. The outdoor bench on sunny days was truly relaxing. We'll see you again.

26/01/2026: I'd been there before to celebrate Valentine's Day and really enjoyed the tasting menu. Yesterday we went for lunch to celebrate an anniversary. There were eight of us plus a child, and we opted for the à la carte menu. The staff were extremely friendly, the food excellent, and the dishes were generous. The owner, Francesco, is kind and available to answer any questions. While we were waiting for the appetizers, he served a dish to our child free of charge. When it was time for the cake, he offered us a bottle of prosecco. Coffee, amaro, and limoncello were included in the price. An absolutely positive experience. I'll be back and highly recommend it.

14/01/2026: Amazing restaurant!! The food is phenomenal and the service is the best we’ve had in Italy by far. Ilaria (main server) and Emilio (owner and chef) make you feel like you’re family, especially when you bring kids with you. Can’t recommend this place enough!

11/03/2026: We stumbled upon it by word of mouth...we live 20 km away, so as usual, if we need to try a new pizza, we go on Wednesdays. Pleasant place, very friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. Two Ruota di Carro pizzas, one red and one yellow...to split! Simply "PERFECT." From the crust, to the lightness of the "fragrant" dough, the top-quality fior di latte...as befits this place, it paired perfectly with the tomato sauce and the top-notch raw olive oil. What more can I say...in these dark and uncertain times? Long live the pizza artisans! See you soon!!! Fuel permitting!!!!!

I had the pleasure of dining here with friends on an unforgettable evening, where every detail contributed to the perfect experience: from the warm and refined atmosphere, with thoughtful furnishings creating an intimate yet convivial atmosphere ideal for romantic dinners or outings with friends, to the attentive and professional service of the staff, always friendly and ready to recommend impeccable pairings between dishes and excellent Campania wines. The cuisine is the true highlight, with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients transformed into succulent grilled dishes, original platters in the shape of Italy's regions filled with cured meats and cheeses, and expertly reinterpreted regional specialties, offering generous portions, authentic flavors, and thoughtful presentations that captivate from the first sip. The wine list is another highlight, with an interesting selection ranging from classic local labels to more original options, perfect to accompany every course. To top it all off, convenient parking and easy reservations make the place accessible and convenient. I'll be back soon and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the true essence of Neapolitan cuisine in a warm and convivial atmosphere.

18/10/2025: Unfortunately, our experience was truly disappointing. The draft beer we were served was warm and undrinkable. After we pointed this out, they replaced it with bottled beer, which turned out to be expired—a serious problem for a place that should guarantee the quality of its drinks. We ordered 11 pizzas, but many arrived incorrectly. Furthermore, the quality of the pizzas was poor. Despite the mistakes, they still charged us for the incorrect pizzas, with no apology or attempt to correct them. Furthermore, we had to wait a long time both for the initial order and for any corrections, making the experience even more frustrating. The service was slow and inattentive, lacking professionalism and customer service. No one apologized or attempted to resolve the issues satisfactorily. All in all, a very negative experience in every way. A place with these shortcomings doesn't deserve the trust of its customers, and we certainly won't be returning.

The first thing that strikes you is the setting: being welcomed into the village of Casertavecchia, with its narrow streets, soft lighting, and gradually opening spaces, immediately creates a warm and authentic atmosphere, unlike the usual reception halls. The food was one of the highlights: plentiful, carefully crafted, and above all, deeply rooted in the local area. From the appetizers wandering around the village to the dishes served at the table, you could sense the quality of the ingredients and the desire to serve well, without rushing. The final buffet was a true celebration within a celebration. The staff was always present but never intrusive, which is not to be taken for granted. You felt looked after, but in a natural way. Throughout the evening, too, great attention was paid to timing and to the guests, both young and old. A word of advice to those who choose Villa Hirta: trust the experience of those who manage it, especially when organizing the itinerary and the moments of the day, because that's where the location really shines. In conclusion, we recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine, convivial, and elegant experience, not the classic "everything the same" event. We will definitely return, even just to relive the atmosphere.
