14/03/2026: Very nice place, well-decorated, clean, with a beautiful dining room, a lovely entrance, and even a lovely garden. It has parking and is very close to the Caserta 9 exit towards Maddaloni... so it's easy to get there. The staff was very friendly, but they brought us the wrong pizza. The other pizza, the second one, was the most expensive on the menu, advertised as a special pizza with bacon, provolone, pulled pork cooked for 24 hours, and fries... it was a simple pizza piled high with fries, two small pieces of bacon, and two even smaller pieces of pulled pork... good, you can't say otherwise, but it wasn't true to the description. Then we had a portion of crispy sweet potatoes, with crispy meatballs and crispy sauce... I won't comment on the sauce because it depends on your taste... but what does crispy sweet potatoes and crispy meatballs mean to you? Definitely not just fried... As far as I know, crispy means crispy fried, not just fried... I also understand that sweet potatoes, the red ones, cost more... but where were the meatballs? Five measly little meatballs... 'portion of sweet potatoes' is more correct. We ordered a cartwheel margherita and we received a regular margherita... comparing the pizzas, they were practically all the same... We called the waiter and pointed this out. He replied that they also had special, larger plates for the cartwheel pizza, so we pointed out that the plates were the same... realizing the mistake, he said, 'You're right, I'll report it to the house so you can pay for a regular margherita.' We went to the cashier and found a cartwheel on the bill. To be honest, the waiter was standing next to us and didn't say anything... he was waiting for the tip... we told the cashier there had been a mistake in bringing us the pizza, since we had ordered a cartwheel, but a plain Margherita had arrived... and the waiter, still standing next to us, didn't bat an eyelid... They immediately corrected the bill and took off the 3 euro difference. Honestly, the food wasn't bad... but none of the three items we ordered matched the menu description... the place was nice and clean, as I said, and the staff was friendly, but I didn't like the waiter's behavior, who first admitted the mistake and then didn't notify the cashier, and I didn't like the fact that we didn't receive an apology for what happened... even though they corrected the bill. So, I'm sorry, but I don't think we'll go there again... also because the prices are on the high side.

07/04/2026: As a frequent traveler, it's a pleasure to give this hotel 5 stars. We travel all over Italy for work. The hotel caters 80% to events like weddings or parties in general. It also has rooms available for those attending a party or, as in my case, if it's convenient for work due to its location. The half-board option is excellent since there aren't many places to eat nearby... you absolutely need a car. The area wasn't very commercial if you're on foot. The staff is all very young, which gives it a fresh feel... while remaining 100% professional and respectful. You might hear the music from the rooms if you happen to be there on a party night... but it never went past 12:30 a.m.... at least not during my stay. I don't particularly consider the hotel a resort, as it doesn't have activities, a gym, or sports or recreational areas. But perhaps we use the word differently. I consider it more of a hotel with event spaces. It's a hotel with great potential, very well managed and run. Excellent friendliness and quality in cleaning and food service. I especially want to highlight the extremely friendly and personalized attention of Antonieta, a young woman who elevates the hotel by speaking fluent English and Spanish, which adds significant value. Her friendliness and commitment to the customer are truly remarkable and worth appreciating. We hope to continue to have her with us on future visits... WITHOUT A DOUBT, it will be our destination when we have to work in the area.

22/03/2026: To my surprise, I ate a truly delicious pizza (despite the lack of basil). The service was impeccable, fast and efficient, and the atmosphere was festive, cheerful, and relaxed, with a few neo-melodic flourishes. The prices were also reasonable and worthy of the taste and ingredients. Well done!

07/05/2026: I order the pacchero with amberjack and get a plate of pasta with swordfish. Obviously, I don't eat it and point out to the waiter that they've ordered the wrong thing. He calls the owner, who in turn passes it on to the cook. Result? We wait while everyone disappears and no one offers an explanation. We get up and leave. We pay for everything properly, and only at the end does a lady come out from the back and say, "It's 100% amberjack; you probably got the toughest, most sinewy part of the fish." I feel sorry for them, but tonight they caught a person whose family owns several fishmongers in their city, and they know the difference between one fish and another very well (not just in appearance, but also in flavor). After all, you can't expect anything else from an owner who tells the waiter to serve "watered-down" limoncello to a couple of Japanese tourists. Dear restaurateurs, you should change jobs, and then let's not complain if people speak badly of us abroad.

04/11/2025: We had dinner on a Saturday evening at this charming and welcoming restaurant. The menu is interesting and limited. The waitress was always very kind and friendly. The wine list was excellent. We'll definitely be back to try the selection of cured meats and cheeses!

26/04/2026: Today I had the pleasure of lunch at Trattoria Bolina "La Taverna di Max o'Sub" and I can say without hesitation that it was a truly excellent experience. The restaurant is welcoming and well-kept, with an authentic atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive to every need, helping make lunch even more enjoyable. The cuisine is the real highlight: dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, rich and well-balanced flavors, and a simple yet refined presentation, just as tradition dictates. The passion for cooking and attention to detail are clearly evident. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, absolutely in line with the quality offered. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in or near Castel Volturno who wants an authentic and delicious experience. I will definitely be back!
