18/07/2026: Just outside Aversa, there's this beautiful restaurant, with a knowledgeable and friendly owner.
They have a limited menu, which for me is always a sign of good cooking and the ability (or desire) to perhaps prepare a few dishes, but with high quality.
The hot antipasto is one of my favorites. Perfect for two, well-priced and plentiful, with a few fried foods, beans in tomato sauce, some mozzarella, and white and red parmigiana, as well as a few sauces to dip the fried foods in. It's a unique experience, getting advice on how best to assemble a few things together.
The first courses are always very good, from the Genovese (perhaps a little oily and lacking in meat) to the scarpariello. In summer, the trofie with mussels, zucchini, and pecorino cheese is a must-try.
Their way of concluding a meal is also very unique, serving dried fruit, amaretti biscuits, and chocolate that can be enjoyed while chatting away the meal. They're generous, almost familiar in their approach to customer service.
It was a wonderful Valentine's Day discovery a few years ago with my girlfriend, and since then it's been a must-visit on Sundays when we don't feel like cooking.

15/07/2026: Cardboard packaging, something I've never seen before. The meat arrived already cooked. The courier left the package and ran away, but it took him a while to get down. Terrible experience. You're incapable of selling online, it's not for you. I buy mozzarella and I've arranged it in a certain way with polystyrene, not cardboard.

We found ourselves there by chance since yesterday, Mother's Day, we couldn't find a table anywhere, and luckily I'd say. The staff was courteous and friendly, including the owner. We'll definitely be back.

06/05/2026: A very elegant café on a quiet side street with plenty of parking. I had a good quality pain au chocolat. They also had a wide selection of Polish Aversana pastries. The atmosphere is very bright, with comfortable chairs and friendly service.

30/05/2026: The food was a bit disappointing. I had a pizza with truffles and porcini mushrooms. I received a sausage and mushroom pizza. We ordered fried food, which was sent back twice, but it was always raw. The pizza was raw. The sandwich was good, and the meat was good, too. But since pizza isn't their forte, they should check the oven and fryer temperatures a bit. If a place is built around its meat quality, it should continue in that direction.
26/04/2026: We dined at this restaurant with a couple of friends and had a great time.
The atmosphere is pleasant and well-kept; the outdoor seating area with sofas is also very nice. A plus, especially for those traveling with children, is the playground on the basement level. It's a shame it can only be reached by an internal elevator.
The staff was very kind and helpful throughout the evening. My pizza was tasty, as was the meat.

28/06/2026: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. They swapped my sandwich with my boyfriend's, and when we pointed this out, they initially just moved the ingredients from one sandwich to the other instead of remaking them. We noticed this because mine had ketchup and my boyfriend's didn't. Only after I pointed it out again did the staff become kind and remade both sandwiches. I appreciate the gesture, but the initial handling was unprofessional and left me very disappointed.

22/02/2026: I celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at La Pergola and made a great impression on all our friends. Even though we chose a pizza menu, we were guided step by step through the decisions and preparation of the room by the owner Sara, an exceptional, understanding, very sweet and very empathetic person. We ate very well and had a lot of fun. I highly recommend La Pergola restaurant 😊

28/03/2026: Horrible pizza, not to mention they made the wrong pizza. From two different flavors to one with just one. Terrible service. Zero tolerance. I will never return, and I hope others will too, after this review.
07/03/2026: I asked the lady for a pizza with peppers, she gave me a margherita, I was hungry so I paid, she gave me the hardest and most burnt pizza I have ever eaten in my life, I didn't go back because I was busy but believe me it's disgusting!!!
