Small trattoria-style restaurant in the center of Caserta, with reasonable prices but well-prepared, home-style dishes. Reservations are required, otherwise you won't find a table due to limited seating (30-40 max). Recommended.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance as we left the Royal Palace of Caserta, and even though it was almost closing time, they welcomed us with open arms for lunch. We had pasta e patate and a caprese salad, both excellent! (I only took a photo of the pasta e patate). One of the best meals we had during our trip to Naples and Caserta. Highly recommended! 😍

A quaint osteria with very good food, definitely worth a try. The service is a bit disappointing; not even a paper tablecloth.

Had a wonderful pranzo here where it was full of locals (seemed like business men for the most part) and I was the only tourists. I highly recommend eating here. Great food, service, prices and atmosphere. I had chicken cacciatora and a fennel and orange salad. Both were great.

We really wanted to love this spot. It was our last night in Italy after three weeks of fairly amazing food. The pasta with beans was delicious, the pasta with tomato sauce was good but not amazing, the tripe dish was quite good but the rabbit entrée was very dry and disappointing. My husband ate more than he wanted to because he did not want to be rude to the host. The wines were tasty and very fairly priced. All in all, it was a comfortable and friendly setting with the food was not everything we had hoped for.

A typical osteria with a few traditional dishes: pasta and potatoes, cod, etc.
The service is good and quick...and to be sure, they serve coffee at the end of the meal, served with a moka pot. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be happy to return.

What a stroke of luck! Excellent food with exactly the right amount of seasoning. Friendly, competent service. Definitely worth a visit and a try!

Sunday lunch, nothing exciting, nice but neglected atmosphere, certainly not a sense of order and cleanliness, good food, small portions, high prices for what's on offer. Menu of typical dishes but a bit limited.
