The only downside was the atmosphere: the air conditioning didn't work as it should have, making our stay less pleasant. With some improvement in this area, the experience would be perfect.
13/09/2025: I went to Le Colonne – Chef Rosanna Marziale for a quick lunch, but the experience was anything but a "quick" one: full of surprises, flavor, and attention to detail.
Location & Atmosphere
The restaurant is located in Caserta, on Viale Giulio Douhet, near the Royal Palace; the Marziale family has run it for generations, maintaining strong ties to the Campania region. The atmosphere is elegant but not overly formal, welcoming; the service is professional, friendly, and attentive to every need.
Signature Dishes That Made Her Famous
Chef Marziale is known for some now iconic creations: Pizza al contrario (Pizza Upside Down), a fried mozzarella ball stuffed with basil tagliolini, and mussel soup in black mozzarella milk.
Our Experience (the dishes we tried)

Pizza al contrario (Pizza Upside Down): excellent. Crispy, clean, well-balanced, with local ingredients (San Marzano tomatoes, DOP buffalo mozzarella, and cafone bread). I was truly satisfied.
Fried dough ball / stuffed mozzarella ball: I had very high expectations, and unfortunately, this dish fell a little short.
Desserts: Three different desserts, all excellent, but the dessert that blew me away was the fried dough ball with cocoa-infused buffalo mozzarella—a truly exceptional result: deep in flavor, with well-crafted contrasts, a must-try.
Staff and Hospitality
The waiter who served us was very professional: attentive, courteous, and present without being intrusive. I appreciated the moment Chef Marziale came to say hello: you can sense her passion, dedication, and humility, despite her success. She is an exceptional person who puts her heart into what she does.
Conclusion
Le Colonne is an experience not to be missed if you love innovative Campania cuisine, with a strong sense of place and ingredients. It's the kind of restaurant where every dish tells you you're in the right place, even if some expectations weren't entirely met (in this case, the fried pasta ball).

A huge thank you to all the staff, who were impeccable from start to finish: professional, attentive, and always smiling. To the maître d', always present and available, capable of coordinating everything with elegance and discretion. To Emanuela and Fabio, thank you so much for everything; I couldn't have asked for a better party! It was a perfect evening, with attention to every detail. I wholeheartedly recommend Tenuta Pegaso! 💫🎉

After a long summer break, Zenzero e Cannella is finally back... and it was spectacular.
As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a welcoming, family-like atmosphere with attention to detail. The staff is friendly, smiling, and always ready to make you feel at ease.
But the real star is the pizza: the "a ruota di carretto" (a wheel-shaped pizza), a true marvel.
Large, fragrant, light, and bursting with flavor, every bite is a journey through tradition and passion.
A reopening that marks a new beginning with energy and quality: Zenzero e Cannella confirms itself as one of the best pizzerias in the area.
Kudos to the staff for their professionalism and desire to always make a difference.
Welcome back, we've truly missed you.

An enchanting place nestled in the greenery of Caiazzo, where peace and nature reign supreme. The agriturismo offers a splendid estate with an on-site riding stable: horses, donkeys, and goats make the atmosphere even more authentic and relaxing, especially suitable for entertaining children. The fresh, clean air is a true blessing.
The food is simply exceptional: everything homemade, cooked with love and passion, with special attention paid to those with intolerances or allergies. Each dish reflects the local area and is a treat for the palate.
The owner is a friendly, welcoming, and helpful person, capable of making you feel truly at home. One detail I really appreciated was the small indoor lounge area, perfect for relaxing after lunch or dinner.
An experience that deserves not only 5 stars, but one more for the family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere that makes this agriturismo unique! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, I will definitely be back.
31/08/2025: Simply perfect, in every way. Surrounded by greenery, a unique, tranquil setting, the owner and staff are incredibly kind, and the food is impeccable. Below the property are the stables, where you can admire and interact with the animals. We were there today for the first time, and it was a real discovery.

I had Pasta with deer and porcini mushrooms. It was prepared and served well as my first dish. The flavors blended well and nothing was overpowering.
The second dish was steak with arugula and slice cheese perfectly cooked and flavored was spot on.
The sides of grilled artichokes, zucchini, eggplant, peppers and pumpkin were delicious. The desert was aslice of cake topped with pistachio. A good beer and ended with an amaro.
Ambiance is good. Location easy find, staff are professional and kind. Complements to the kitchen staff. I look forward to another visit.

Unfortunately, the dishes turned out to be poor, poorly prepared, and flavorless. Even the dish that should be the house's signature dish, the cod, fell short: the preparation lacked balance and a thorough understanding of the ingredients. Considering the quality offered, the prices were decidedly disproportionate. For us, it was our first and last experience.

12/10/2025: Pizzeria del Contadino is an institution in Aversa. I've been going there for several years, especially for takeout, and I've always had a great experience. The staff is friendly, especially Gerardina, who's fantastic. She manages to do at least three things at once (slicing pizzas, serving them, preparing them for takeout, answering the phone, and managing the cash register), all with a smile.
The pizza is delicious, a pan pizza with a tasty dough and excellent toppings, with a focus on vegetables and local produce. I recommend the pepperoni and mozzarella pizza, my favorite, but also try the Marinara del Contadino. The escarole pizza is also good. The four-cheese pizza is interesting, enhanced with a little salami. Excellent value.
21/05/2025: The pizzas are excellent in quality and quantity, the frying shop equally, the staff are all kind, polite and helpful, the environment is small and modest, but the taste and quality of the cuisine makes this pleasant too.

12/07/2025: An extraordinary pizza, captivating at first glance: perfectly leavened dough, with a high, soft, and well-cooked crust, punctuated by the typical wood-fired oven burn marks. The white crust holds a generous amount of stringy mozzarella, fresh cherry tomatoes, and basil. Each bite is a balance of sweetness, creaminess, and fragrance. Making the experience even more enjoyable was the impeccable service: the waiters, all young and charming, greeted us with a sincere smile and great availability. The service was surprisingly fast, without ever feeling rushed.
A perfect evening, where the quality of the cuisine is combined with attentiveness to the guest. We will definitely be back.
