19/10/2025: This was the perfect little gem with the most tasty and refreshing lemon sorbet I have ever had and it is made of the fresh Sorrento lemons and served in a real frozen lemon. The lemoncello spritz was outstanding as well.

09/11/2025: I like to review restaurants where I dine. And I'm positive, meaning I try to capture the positives in my visits. However, this time I can't help but leave out what I had for dinner. Just for the record (as shown in the attached photos), scialatielli allo scoglio (seafood scialatelli) and calamari tagliata (sliced ​​calamari) with arugula, piennolo cherry tomatoes, parmesan shavings, and balsamic vinegar, washed down with Fiano di Avellino. And the real sore point is the wine: how is it possible that we ordered "Fiano di Avellino" (priced at €10) from the host by word of mouth and by pointing to it on the menu, and found it on the bill for €14? The host said, "It was sold out, so I brought you this IGT wine," and then dramatically added, "I thought you knew it was sold out!" And how could we if the menu didn't say "Sold Out," nor did he even bother to inform us? Add to that, when I said I'd post my review on Google Maps and include the receipt, he first said, "For privacy reasons, you can't do that. You can say you ate well!" And we, in response, "Why can't we do that? It's our money, we paid for dinner!" He quickly rushed back to the cashier, then to us, and brought us the receipt. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!! Transparency comes first. You can eat and be satisfied or not, but you simply can't be served wine that's different in price from the one you ordered, and not be informed before opening the bottle. And you're supposed to expect the customer to know what they can't possibly know, having not been informed in advance!!!!! Besides, the bill says "Water" (for the record, a S. Pellegrino mineral water) is €4, when we normally pay €2.50 for it in all the restaurants, pizzerias, and trattorias we frequent (and there are many). I repeat, NEVER AGAIN!!

07/11/2025: I went there for a party and had a really good time. EXCELLENT food... unique dishes (I even liked the plating). Fresh fish... special appetizers and refined dishes. Highly recommended place.

04/11/2025: Pasticceria Marco Benincasa is a true gem for lovers of Italian sweets! A small, local pastry shop with the incredible aroma of fresh baked goods wafting from the moment you walk in the door. The cornetto – delicate, buttery, simply perfect with your morning coffee. The cannoli – crispy, with a creamy, unsweetened filling, in keeping with the finest Neapolitan tradition. You can feel that everything is made with passion and attention to every detail. A great place for a sweet stop in Naples – definitely worth it!

26/10/2025: Very good pastry shop. An exceptional selection, a warm atmosphere, fast service, and good advice. You have to go there, everything is good, and we ordered takeout, which we ate the next day, always delicious. I highly recommend it.

22/11/2025: On my way to Naples, I decided to stop in Teano, where I was fortunate enough to have lunch at Locanda de Foris. A simple, comfortable setting with beautiful architecture. The cuisine features exclusive, exquisitely crafted dishes, a delight for the palate... The service was excellent, with Isabella offering us advice and kindness. Chef Pietro was kind enough to come and greet us at the end of the meal for feedback. Restaurant professionals. Definitely worth a try.

22/11/2025: We were passing through and happened to stop in Teano, where we decided to have lunch at Locanda de Foris. We enjoyed some exclusive, delicious dishes!! A true delight for the palate... The service was excellent, with Isabella offering us advice and kindness. Chef Pietro was also there to greet us at the end of the meal to make sure we'd enjoyed everything! Catering professionals. Definitely worth a try. The restaurant is very quaint and clean! N.B.: Their homemade bread is spectacular.

07/12/2025: We went to this pizzeria for the "Luci d'Artista" event. I called around 1:00 PM to reserve a table for 8:30 PM, but was told that reservations weren't possible; you'd be put on a "waiting list" (a list that the staff completely ignores). We waited over an hour for our table (2 people). The food was excellent, high-quality, and the pizza was delicious. Special compliments go to our waitress, Natalia, who was friendly and calm with everyone, and eager to accommodate everyone's needs. Average price.

13/10/2025: Another strange experience, honestly. We're not used to private beaches, and in this region, 99% of them are taken over by restaurants. So, you expect first-class service, and the truth is, it's not like that. In such a touristy place, they don't speak Spanish or English. "ABSURD." Afterwards, they only had one waiter, who was hardly a waiter. He set the table in five stages, since instead of carrying everything on a tray, he brought us: the tablecloths first and left. After a few minutes, he arrived with the cutlery and left, then the plates, and then the menus. So if you ask about the food, I'll leave it to your amusing conclusion. In short, expensive and bad. Anyway, Italy....

14/08/2025: We had a wonderful experience at Fracatel! The food was absolutely superb — fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with the best local ingredients. The service was outstanding: the staff took such good care of us, always kind, attentive, and thoughtful about our needs, never once making us feel rushed or unwelcome. One especially touching moment was when a member of the team celebrated their birthday and kindly shared their homemade cake with us — such a sweet gesture that made us feel like part of the family. A true gem where hospitality and quality go hand in hand. Highly recommended!

They recommended a very good wine from Vesubi. Yes, it is a little more expensive than other places but not because of the price, the quality is noticeable. We could eat so much here every day. 27/11/2025: A friend in Positano recommended this restaurant to me. In winter, all the restaurants on the seafront and streets of Positano are closed. Among them, OHIMA is a restaurant that makes me very happy. The pizza is delicious. It's fantastic. They also have spaghetti with tomato sauce, which is not on the menu. I always order tomato sauce 🍅 at restaurants because this sauce is a testament to the chef's skill. It was fantastic. A real restaurant.

30/11/2025: I visited this pizzeria with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing in many ways. I'll start with the only truly positive note: the fried appetizers, delicious and well-executed, definitely the highlight of the evening. The pizzas, however, were a disaster. I ordered a Carbonara, presented as a pizza with pasteurized egg cream: from the description and photos, it looked creamy and unique, but I found myself with an overcooked fried egg spread all over the surface, with a nauseating flavor. A truly awful pizza. The other pizza, with spiced baked potatoes, was no better: the potatoes were just baked potatoes, not at all crispy, completely bland, and without any seasoning. From a place that charges high prices, especially in the Mergellina area, you would at least expect quality ingredients and well-prepared dishes. To make matters worse, the service was also subpar. We went at a quiet time; the place was practically empty, which should have allowed for greater attention. Instead, the fried food arrived in mere seconds: it wasn't cold, but it wasn't hot either, a clear sign that it had been prepared in advance, which was inexcusable on such a quiet evening. The pizzas, on the other hand, arrived after a long wait, even though we were the only ones supposed to be served. And the result didn't justify the wait at all: one had a completely charred crust bubble, the other had an overcooked egg instead of the promised cream. Details that might be acceptable in a busy restaurant, but certainly not when the staff has all the time in the world to work diligently. I should also add that the prices on The Fork aren't up to date: only when we arrived did we discover they were higher. Another demonstration of careless management. It's a shame, because the concept of the place isn't bad, and some elements, like the fried food and the provola cheese I tasted on the pizza, suggest there could be potential. But the lack of care, both in the kitchen and in the organization, completely ruins the experience. In conclusion, I wouldn't come back here for pizza. However, the place has a piano bar, offers cocktails and beers, and considering the fried foods are good, I might come back just for a drink and a small appetizer, perhaps accompanied by a very simple pizza with provola cheese, which was the only truly enjoyable thing. I sincerely hope the owners read this review and decide to improve, because so far the experience has been forgettable.

08/11/2025: Artisanal Sacher panettone. I've never tasted anything like it in my life. Soft as a cloud, with "pellecchielle" apricots, and the highest quality chocolate. Spectacular. I'll just have to repeat with other flavors and come back here specifically. Naples-Solofra-Naples will be my Christmas trip.
