12/10/2025: A lovely place in a stunning location! After the hike to the WWF oasis, we stopped for lunch: excellent house wine (it's rare to find good house wine), a rich appetizer, a homemade first course and dessert, all served by staff who put their heart and soul into it! Highly recommended.

Flavors that could be found in every single ingredient and the wine was top-notch. Exceptional hospitality and always attentive to our needs. What can I say about Chef Paolo? We could have stayed there listening to him for hours between one dish and the next. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

21/10/2025: When haute cuisine uses love, the result is unique. Paolo Gramaglia is not only a great chef, he is a great artist who skillfully creates works of art with simple ingredients. His art impressed me; in eight courses (actually nine because I couldn't leave out the egg), we had totally different culinary experiences that nevertheless remain etched in my memory. The artichoke (which I normally don't like) literally impressed me with its unique, INDESCRIBABLE taste. The egg, which I adore, I ate for the first time without anything else: just it, until the obligatory final mopping up. It's not a restaurant for everyone (and I'm not speaking from an economic point of view, of course) because in many starred restaurants these days (except those in Campania) they carry out daring experiments to demonstrate some inventiveness, but mainly they prefer to experiment with marketing techniques to fill the rooms and therefore have a clientele more interested in making a good impression than in enjoying delicacies, but not at The President. At The Presidente there is an artistic atelier without particular frills where you go simply to travel with your palate and your mind.

24/10/2025: The best pasta in Sorrento and the surrounding area. The friendly waitress impressed us; other restaurants could learn a thing or two from her. The pasta is homemade, and you can order anything from the menu.

29/10/2025: Very delicious pizza and great service. We enjoyed the view and sound of sea waves while having a glass of wine. I highly recommend you stopping by and eat here. Btw, their homemade tiramisu is delicious so don’t skip the dessert.

Isola verde pizza reminded us of one we had in Lucca once...no tomato sauce, just butter, rocket, delicious cheese and ham. The patate fritte were incredible - light as a feather inside, crispy on the outside; amazing 😍 Service friendly and efficient. Cannot fault this place. Thanks to Google reviews we found it 👌🏼👏🏼

07/10/2025: Mario, the owner, along with his family and staff, are always very kind and friendly. You can always find good food and drinks at any time. I've even done some grocery shopping there, because they have a little bit of everything, including basic necessities.

25/10/2025: We made a reservation for a very quiet night at this lovely and quirky restaurant full of interesting art. They seated us in one of their rooms with only another couple, so it was very intimate and romantic. The service was impeccable and the experience was wonderful. We decided to order a la carte because my husband is a pescetarian so we didn't want to worry about them having to make adjustments. We received their amuse bouche to start (which the chef makes for everyone, it's included in the experience) which were absolutely delicious, though one was meat-based. We also ordered the cuttlefish "tagliatelle" which is cuttlefish formed into a long pasta - served cold in a really good cream sauce, it was excellent. Then we had mezzo rigatoni with sting ray - amazing, such an interesting dish. And fish my husband and I had separate mains, he ordered a cod dish which he loved and I ordered the duck which I found to be overcooked but otherwise very flavorful - I should have known better than to order duck in Italy as it's not really their specialty. We also loved the dessert - we ordered the milk and honey one and it comes with all these tiny additional desserts. The wine we ordered was a really nice Piedmonte orange wine - Demarie Sabbia - which was so, so good, I highly recommend ordering that if you like orange wines as it went so well with everything we ordered and it was one of their more affordable bottles. Overall we were very impressed and felt well taken care of. Our final bill including wine was about 150€ which is reasonable for a Michelin star restaurant and such a high quality meal. Just a small warning that it's not obvious where the main door is, it's around the corner from where Google maps brought us, and you have to buzz in. Reservations are absolutely a must, though we made ours the same day.

27/10/2025: Our last night…and could not have chosen a more perfect place – probably our overall best dining experience! Arrived before sunset (reservations a must, due to a cozy, intimate dining area) and immediately welcomed by the vivacious Alessia. Along with her aunt and another young lady, they treated us with such hospitality and service that we perhaps spent more time in conversation with them then among ourselves. To listen to their stories of their history and that of the restaurant, dating back some 80-years, made us feel we were having dinner in their home. Add the fact that the atmosphere is set on an elevated covered terrace, with direct views of Amalfi…as the sun set and the lights of Amalfi began to come on, no words can fully describe!!! Group of 8 adults, so we had a chance to try a variety of menu items…the grilled fish, Pasta al Limone (outstanding and so unique to Amalfi), smoked Scamorza cheese in lemon leaves and my favorite, the Tris di Marinati - marinated tuna, swordfish & anchovies. EVERYTHING we had was among the best we had among all the other restaurants during our visit! The perfect ending to our meal…as we came off the elevator to the street below, we were personally greeted by Nicola, the grandfather who began it all!

A true pork restaurant specializing in porchetta, sandwiches, and delicious appetizers, complemented by always fresh and carefully selected side dishes. We've been frequenting this place for several years and have never been disappointed: a guarantee in every way. The sandwich combinations are always imaginative and perfectly balanced. The owner, who is also the mastermind behind these creations, passionately seeks out quality ingredients and offers original combinations, often to the envy of even the most gourmet palates. We never miss the "sandwich of the month"—every time a surprise worth trying. The dining room is managed by the attentive Assunta, always attentive, courteous, and ready to offer the best recommendations. For us, Jooink is a safe haven, the place we bring friends with the certainty of always making a great impression. Highly recommended!
