12/09/2025: I went to this place for the first time, inspired by my friend Renato's review of Giorgio. It was impeccable. We got everything we ordered. Two flaws: there are no fortune cookies and the bao buns have condensed milk (VERY SERIOUS!!!)

22/08/2025: So so good!! Perfect if you're after a quick bite but don't fancy the regular sandwich. The products are super fresh, they cut the meat in front of you and you can see the different varieties in the window. The staff is nice and even let me add pesto in my focaccia for no extra:))

17/08/2025: Angelo and his family are the soul of the place, and in every dish you can taste the history, hard work, and love behind every little element of their extensive menu. The price is fair for the quality of the products, but a bit expensive for the area. Parking is impossible, but even getting there requires a good knowledge of the area. The entrance is definitely not accessible to the disabled.

16/08/2025: Must try! Authentic and delicious cuisine. The tasting menu is truly tasty and comprehensive, and there are trays available for guests to make their own doggy bags. I was really impressed that they catered to allergies/intolerances, providing a valid alternative for each of the many courses!

21/08/2025: Clean and modern environment where white predominates. Large veranda with glass windows, beyond the large room, all with air conditioning. Very kind and helpful staff, patient even with the most unpleasant customers. Local relatives brought us. Very good and generous appetizer, authentic Neapolitan pizza with quality flours, many flavors, even unusual ones, excellent beers both bottled and on tap. I am a cult of Neapolitan pizza, I have eaten it even in the most renowned places and I can say that this is even better. The pizzeria is located in a nice, elegant and quiet neighborhood. I will return next time I go on vacation!!!! We had a lovely evening. Thank you. I forgot: Highly recommended.

16/08/2025: I ate pizza here for the first time with my school... this evening I went back with my husband... they make fantastic pizza, well cooked and well leavened... the staff are very friendly... I had a great time once again and will definitely go back... I highly recommend it.

25/07/2025: The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is friendly and always available, and we immediately felt at home. Traditional Neapolitan cuisine takes center stage: every dish we tried was carefully prepared, rich in flavor, and made with quality ingredients. The passion and love for tradition are evident in every course. A special mention goes to the dessert, which ended the evening perfectly: delicious, beautifully presented, and absolutely unforgettable. I highly recommend Osteria La Chitarra to anyone who wants a true Neapolitan experience in an authentic and convivial atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

15/07/2025: There are several restaurants in the upper part of Ischia, all of which more or less follow the same menu, but each with its own personality. The location is stuck in the '70s, the service professional and courteous. The vegetable appetizer, in my opinion, had too much vinegar, the homemade crocche (normal), the ricotta-stuffed courgette flowers with a hint of lemon (well done, great idea), the bucatini with rabbit, of the highest quality (the fresh piperna added to the dish is a plus), the rabbit served in a coccio (an earthenware dish) is a real taste sensation, and to finish, a truly homemade piperna amaro... it rounds out an Ischian dinner with a very high level of personality. Well done!! Oh, I forgot about the house wine... it needs improving.

10/08/2025: Wonderful experience! When I booked, I made a small request, and to my surprise, it was granted. I didn't use the bathroom, but my girlfriend said they were gorgeous, clean, and absolutely beautiful. The welcome was top-notch; we were seated and given not only two chairs, but also a third place to put our bags. The food was excellent, with delicious combinations. The prices were absolutely reasonable for the category. I highly recommend everyone to go there.

25/08/2025: A small-town bar-trattoria, but given the reviews, we expected better food. Instead, the appetizer was truly minimal, with just salads and cheeses, and a sadly cold piece of parmigiana. The pasta with chickpeas and sagne with beans were excellent, though! The burger was good, but the mixed grill was truly paltry, and the potatoes were soaked in oil. For dessert, a homemade tart, quite bland. Too bad: perhaps it was Ferragosto (August 15th)? Not many people, a fixed menu...maybe the quality improves at other times.
