09/07/2025: 4 of us attended the school in July. Easy shuttle from town; nice country atmosphere up on the hill; the hosts were gracious, helpful, and funny. Absolutely recommend to anyone considering it who might be traveling in Campania. Also, we booked our class only the day before, and it was fine.

29/08/2025: Excellent restaurant with a breathtaking view. The road to get there is winding, but the journey is worth it. Excellent food, fast service, courteous waiters, and nothing to complain about. They even offered us limoncello (very good) and sfogliatelle!

23/08/2025: First time at this place. As soon as we walked in, we wanted to leave... because we weren't expecting to have to share a table with other people... and the place seemed strange. Then we decided to stay, and it was a unique and fun experience... both thanks to the friendliness of the staff and the owner. Part of the menu was hanging around the waiters' necks... a unique and fun thing. Delicious food and good portions. Kudos to Giggino & Co!

22/08/2025: Eating well while smiling so much has never happened to me. If you're in Battipagna, you have to go to O Vicolo 'E L' Allegria to eat. Congratulations on everything, not to be missed.

08/07/2025: Gick på alla bra recensioner men blev besviken. Maten var ok men inte mer än så, vi åt beef cheek och sliced beef som vi frågade om den var grillad vilket den skulle vara men kom sedan stekt och ganska senig och helt utan salt. beef check var bättre men medelmåttig för det priset. Ok service, var inte många sällskap där men ändå hög ljudmiljö.

28/06/2025: Excellent place to eat good meat, the cheese and sausage appetizer is exquisite. It says "small" and can accommodate up to three people. Everything is delicious and at a very good price. 100% recommended. We had a cheese and sausage appetizer, a main course of meat each, and two soft drinks and two glasses of wine.

26/08/2025: What can I say? A wonderful and characteristic place right in the center of Sorrento, where you can savor traditional dishes (superlative gnocchi) and the charming atmosphere of the peninsula, further enhanced by a jovial guitarist playing among the tables. Not to mention the service and the waiters, all super kind, smiling, and helpful. My stroller, which we had folded in a corner, slipped on the floor, and the waiter noticed it and took care to put it away next to a chair. A pleasant experience and good food.

19/08/2025: La Lanterna is a gem amongst the lovely little back streets of Sorrento. We ate here two out of four nights and wished we found it earlier in the holiday. The pizzas, pasta carbonara and seafood platter were delicious. The service was excellent, all staff were so friendly and the live entertainment was superb!

08/08/2025: A pleasant stop, fresh, quality food, a three-course menu, delicious frothy coffee, authentic Campania hospitality and friendliness, super-fast service. I recommend a small detour for those traveling to or from Rome, a fixed-price menu with no surprises!

10/08/2025: We decided we just wanted to have a locsl pizza in Sant Agnello. I read several reviews about this bakery and that nearly everyone stumbled across it and they were very pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Well, i have to agree. They were the best we have eaten in the whole of Sorrento. Fresh, filling, tasty and cheaper than all the touristy hot spots with very good customer communication and care. Its one for the locals and for the odd tourist passing by. Another gem in Sant Agnello. Give it a go.

07/06/2025: Great little restaurant in the Chiaia neighborhood. It was so good, we went 2 nights in a row. The manager/owner and the service staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The menu has a good variety and massive portions. It is also the most fairly priced restaurant in the area by far. Everything was exceptional including the food, drinks and dessert. Ambiance and decor is super laid back and has a cool vibe. Can't recommend enough

15/08/2025: We were fortunate enough to sit at one of the tables at the traditional Dea Mangiona restaurant in the center of Cetara. A little gem run by a cheerful, smiling, hospitable, and kind owner couple. It's an experience that feels like home; the owners have an admirable way of making everyone feel at ease. At the owner's suggestion, we ordered the "mille facce di alice," an appetizer that captures the aromas and flavors of beautiful Cetara, represented even more symbolically by the spaghetti with anchovy sauce. We were amazed by the owner's welcome and the explanations of the dishes, and equally amazed by her husband's preparations. We won't forget this place and will definitely return! Highly recommended. (We look forward to seeing you in Florence)

10/08/2025: I am from Ischia and I eat in this place since ages! Is always amazing to be here! Great atmosphere, incredible food, and a view of 360 degree of the island and the iconic Aragonese Castle! Worth the trekking if you want to be there for lunch or even better for sunset! But for an evening dinner is always better to book in advance! Definitely a MUST do experience if you are in Ischia.

09/08/2025: I had lunch with my family at this lovely restaurant. The view is breathtaking; you're at the top of Mount Epomeo. We arrived on a day when the Hermitage of San Nicola museum and the church were closed, but the restaurant owners were kind enough to let us visit these two enchanting places anyway. We ate divinely: penne and bucatini with rabbit sauce and rabbit Ischia-style, tomato salad, fried eggs with coppa, and French fries (amazing), all accompanied by a local wine expertly recommended by the owners. They offered us a delicious fennel liqueur and sweet fritters with zucchini flowers. When we return to Ischia (because we will), we will definitely stop at this excellent restaurant. Thank you for everything.
