16/11/2025: 25 years!!!! Crossing the SP 241 (Terranova da Sibari), you pass by this ANCIENT HOMEMADE BAKERY!!!! "Do I have to stop!? It took me a good 25 years!!! Turkish things!!! A UNIQUE WHITE and WHOLE WHEAT BREAD!!! In the universe!!! A dough never seen before!? Soft!! Incredible!!! Plus some trays of "homemade pizzas" that go down like nothing!!! While you have a "chat" with a magnificent and friendly PARROT🦜 big talker🦜"😍What a wonder in the middle of the countryside!!! 02/01/2026: I've been staying at this property for years, and it's always nice to return because it feels like home. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with every amenity. The cuisine is excellent, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The staff is incredibly friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

01/11/2025: I celebrated my eighteenth birthday at Olimpo. It was a wonderful experience. Every idea I had was taken on board and brought to fruition. The service was very fast and professional, the room beautiful and spacious, the food delicious and high-quality. My party was organized down to the smallest detail, and I was taken care of in every way. I recommend everyone to celebrate their party at Olimpo.

20/08/2025: Very nice location, nestled in a small alleyway that leads back to the main square, all lit up with lovely lights. When booking, punctuality is expected (rightfully so), with a maximum 10-minute tolerance. I expected the same punctuality in service, but alas, the wait was a bit long. On the other hand, the sandwich was very good, the croquette a little less so (it was cold), and the staff was friendly. Overall, I recommend it.

15/03/2026: Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic staff (you don't feel like you're in a restaurant but at a friend's house). And a special round of applause to Chef Luigi Perrone, who turns every dish into a masterpiece.

The seafood starters are excellent, and the main courses are carefully prepared. The service is friendly, the atmosphere pleasant, and the prices are in line with the quality. A reliable choice for a no-frills seafood dinner.

04/04/2026: A unique, unusual menu. Everything was good; you could sense the quality of the ingredients. I especially enjoyed the ramen (Japanese-style with local influences). Good wines in the cellar.

24/03/2026: For the amount I spent, we would have eaten divinely instead of settling for bland dishes like tagliatelle al burro, the same as the one I make at home when I'm in a hurry but paid the same as a lavishly prepared fish first course, or a glass of wine that had been open for days and no longer has its full flavor, but paid double the price, and the same goes for everything else, including dessert. People go to restaurants to taste dishes that delight the palate, and this is certainly not the right place if not for the price, which is certainly comparable to starred restaurants... I'm starting to wonder if we probably paid for exclusivity since the place was all ours, or perhaps it was empty precisely because of the above???!!!!

01/01/2026: I've been following the restaurant on social media for a while and have always had a great impression; for this reason, I finally decided to book for New Year's Eve. Let me start by saying: I'm aware that events of this type, with very large seating capacity, make it extremely difficult to maintain a high level of quality in the kitchen. I'm sorry to have to report this, but unfortunately, all four people at our table have been experiencing intestinal problems, including abdominal pain and diarrhea, since this morning. I hope this is an isolated incident. Regarding the evening itself, we enjoyed the entrée, particularly the whipped truffle butter accompanied by a selection of sandwiches. The appetizer, however, was rather disappointing: some dishes were pleasant, while others had less-than-convincing flavors. The first course, a turnip risotto, seemed excessively bitter and unbalanced, despite the otherwise very pleasant addition of candied lemon. The dish also included clams, but out of four portions, we only saw one or two, and they were only on one of our plates. The second first course, tortellone with porcini mushrooms, was truly excellent and, unfortunately, the only dish that fully met my expectations for this restaurant. Next came the second course: golden tuna with popcorn and salted caramel. The description already sounded very interesting, but it turned out to be perhaps the least popular of the entire dinner. It seemed unbalanced and designed more to impress on paper than to actually work on the palate. The fried tuna was excessively heavy, while the salted caramel, popcorn, and abundant potato cream didn't quite harmonize. The only aspect I genuinely appreciated was the quality and cooking of the tuna, which I could only appreciate after removing the outer browning. The service was generally acceptable, although the cutlery wasn't replaced between courses, and on a few occasions we had to wait with our plates already on the table. These oversights can happen, especially on such busy evenings.

04/12/2025: "Al pesce fuori d’acqua" isn't cheap, but the quality/price ratio is absolutely justified by the freshness of the fish, the excellent service, and the splendid location. It's the ideal place for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. Highly recommended!
