I've been there twice. The first time was great, the second time a little less so, but overall I recommend it. The wine list is excellent, the menu is extensive, and the dishes are tasty and plentiful. The service is prompt and professional.

I visited Al Povero Pesce in Belvedere Marittimo and had a truly positive experience. The fish was incredibly fresh and of excellent quality, the first courses were tasty and well-prepared, and the appetizers were generous and flavorful. The service was fast, attentive, and very welcoming, making us feel immediately at ease. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat excellent seafood in a pleasant atmosphere. The food is truly excellent. Creative dishes, unique combinations, and fresh fish. Fast and efficient service. The dim evening light makes it difficult to see the dishes.

We had lunch at this quaint little restaurant on the seafront in Belvedere Marittimo, Calabria, where the food is exclusively seafood. We ordered a mixed hot and cold seafood appetizer and an extraordinary octopus salad. The dishes were beautifully presented and of excellent quality. Next, we ordered two first courses: tagliolini with raw shrimp and lime, and the other with lobster. They were simply spectacular, impeccably cooked and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. To finish, we chose a mixed fried fish platter, abundant and incredibly fresh. The staff was friendly, helpful, quick with their service, and attentive in explaining each course. The price was average for the quality/price ratio. I highly recommend it.

What can I say? Absolutely spectacular! We went for lunch. Reading the menu, you think the prices are normal or slightly above average, but then they bring your dishes and you realize you're paying very little. The portions were enormous, generous, both in terms of pasta and sauces, while maintaining the high quality of the ingredients. We were offered two plates of straw-smoked shrimp and a sample of fresh sea urchins, as well as coffee and a bottle of sparkling wine. Which says it all, excellent. PS: The spaghetti with clams and sea urchins is amazing, with a delicious cramina.

Raw appetizers and fried food. Large pasta dishes in the center, the spaghetti delicious. The paccheri excellent. I've been coming here for years and will never miss it. Exceptional value for money.

Without further ado, to start, this is a very nice place. Upon entering, I'm greeted by very knowledgeable wait staff. I ask for the owner, and he immediately introduces himself with kindness and a smile. The ingredients are essential. He recommends a delicious, crispy, golden-brown mixed fry, very fresh oil. He surprises me with a paccheri with swordfish, tuna, and amberjack—a perfect combination, all washed down with a glass of Vermentino. Nothing else to add: an excellent experience, and especially the price. "I was treated very well." However, I looked at the menu and can confirm the low prices considering the location, the service, the food, and the kindness. NB: A real treat: in the bathroom, there are small pure cotton towels to dry your hands.
