Ristorante Pizzeria '85 In Sasso di castalda

Sasso is one of my fixed destinations, a wonderful place. Just as a fixed point is to eat here when I stay in these beloved places. This place embodies good cuisine, the frank and sincere heart of Lucania. The products are excellent, all of them, from pasta to meat to pizza... I've tried them all and without going into too much detail I'll summarize: if you're in Sasso, eat here at least one evening, do it for yourself. This time we went for first courses (2 each) and tagliatana of meat for the second course, with potatoes..beer, water and wine.. And then Antonio (owner) shows up with a barricade, three glasses and a chat and you understand that there is both love but also a lot of professionalism behind it... and the result shows.. Sublime final note: the bill that doesn't add up to what you ate, on the contrary, costs you an "if I knew I also took..." After a day of hiking you get hungry, very hungry. There's no point in writing, I'll be back. I do it every time. Maybe I'll write soon. 100% recommended

Excellent cuisine to say the least. A journey into traditional Lucanian cuisine, something unique that I recommend to everyone. Authentic and very intense flavors. I asked for a house starter (which I recommend to everyone), the quantity was plentiful and of excellent quality. Super welcoming and friendly staff

Consiglio a tutte le persone di passaggio a Sasso di Castalda di fermarsi in questo posto a mangiare. Ambiente accogliente e location caratteristica sono accompagnati da una elevata cordialità da parte del personale e dall’ottimo cibo. Abbiamo preso il menù fisso con varie pietanze, dall’antipasto al dolce, bibite e amari, tutto compreso e tutto buonissimo. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale. Ne vale davvero la pena, ritorneremo sicuramente quando saremo nuovamente in zona.

Ci siamo ritrovati a non sapere dove pranzare e un signore del posto ci ha consigliato questa taverna. Ci siamo sentiti davvero accolti e a casa, abbiamo mangiato piatti semplici compresi in un menu con prezzo fisso a 25 euro per persona. Abbiamo fatto un pranzo completo con bevande e caffè inclusi nel prezzo. Consigliatissimo
