05/01/2026: It's overpriced for what they offer, both in terms of the variety of food and the location: we ordered two plates of bruschetta, a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, three glasses of wine, two espressos with a moka pot...it cost €60 for two. The quality of the bread and toppings was good, but for an aperitivo like this in the center of Lecce we would have paid half that. At these prices, tourists won't return, at least not us.

24/09/2025: I'll start with the good: The resort feels safe. It is quiet in mid September with the older generation. The pools are open with plenty of chairs and no one in them. You have everything you need on site, so you don'thave to leave unless you want to. There is a market, a restaurant, a pizzeria and a private beach. Some bad: The rooms are dated and not well stocked for a week stay. We dont like to eat out, so we rely on a stocked kitchen and a working range. The surrounding location is very barren. There is a small town about 10 minutes away, but it didn't offer too much as far as entertainment, but we did find a coffee shop and a market. The thing I disliked most is that the beach is closed at night. Overall, not a bad place for a family vacation.

15/12/2025: Excellent quality pastries, an outdoor veranda for all-season dining, and attentive and professional staff. Highly recommended.

17/09/2025: We had a crepe and if you are passing by or you want one I recommend stopping by for the quality and speed, the staff are also great!

30/08/2025: The gelato here is just the right amount of sweet and delicious! I tried the pistachio, caramel, and lemon flavors, and all three were tasty.

08/05/2026: The Birrostreria offers excellent service thanks to the knowledgeable and qualified owner. The menu is varied, and the cuisine, including the pizza, is top-notch. I highly recommend it. In the summer, you can enjoy outdoor seating.

27/07/2026: Meh. As many other reviews have noted, service is pretty bad. It seemed to get better once the head server arrived which suggests an undertrained wait staff. Ordered a '18 vintage wine, was told they only had the '19, was then served a '22 and charged for the '19. Food wise, some dishes were great (beef cheeks & pork belly), but others were really poorly balanced (calzoncello & spaghettoni). All in all, it's a sort of B-minus experience. I don't regret going, but I wouldn't go back.

03/05/2026: Surrounded by nature, conveniently located for many beautiful places to visit, the cottages are meticulously maintained and fully equipped, and the restaurant is unique and characteristic, surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees. The owners are extremely kind and friendly, available for any need. A place that smells of goodness and peace, a place that will stay in your heart. We will return as soon as possible. Thank you for your hospitality.

17/04/2026: Small place, poorly arranged tables, portions too small for the price per person, poor personal service.

16/05/2026: We went to Lampara for lunch on a weekday. The place is small but cozy, with friendly and helpful staff. We only ordered fish dishes, which, unfortunately, were of poor quality, from appetizers to main courses. I had higher expectations for this place. It was a disappointing experience. The prices were high for the quality offered: we paid €83 for two, with just one appetizer, two first courses, and a bland grilled meat for a main course. Perhaps we just had a bad day. Given this background, I don't think we'll return.

22/06/2026: A wonderful discovery! The pizzas, from classic to gourmet, are fabulous, with a truly light dough. Excellent homemade desserts. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff is truly kind and helpful. I recommend booking, as they're excellent value for money. Very good!

05/06/2026: Yummy pizzas and they had a pizza to suit my spice requirements 😋 Also the pizzas are extremely well priced for such a tourist spot. If you want a good pizza when in Matera, absolutely try this place.

We waited over an hour and a half for a pizza completely soaked in oil, with preparation and service from the waiter seemingly indescribable. The whole experience deserves a thorough overhaul, from the pizza to the final table service.

27/05/2026: Wonderful restaurant Pizza was awesome beautiful! They even threw hot peppers on for me. Got the Zia Caterina and have to say I’m surprised how much I like tuna on pizza! I never would have guessed that I’d like it so much. Beautiful town as well. I went for a walk and enjoyed the views. Thank you Grassano! Jay Bird
