06/08/2025: Very nice place, very kind, courteous, and helpful staff, excellent quality panzerotti: not overflowing with filling, nor empty, just the right balance to enjoy the filling without getting dirty. Highly recommended. I really enjoyed it. I plan to stop by again despite the hour and a half drive!

19/10/2025: We stayed here twice in early December 2024, and we had a wonderful time! The atmosphere was casual and clean, the food excellent, and the traditional Lucanian cuisine "just like it used to be." Michele and his entire family are wonderful people! They helped us organize a birthday party, and his wife even made us a spectacular ricotta cake! Thanks again for everything!

04/10/2025: Unique place!! Fantastic staff, they really make you feel at home, extraordinary and super hospitable, food? More than excellent, in fact excellent, more than fresh products and truly made with love, they remind me of my grandmother's cooking 😍 here and really you have to try and have to return, because believe me you can't do without it!! 01/10/2025: We had some lunch here and it topped all of our expectations!! The food was amazing and the vibe was just perfect (They also have the famous matera bread which is a must try when you are here). The guy that helped us was really nice and helpful in every way he could, he was even teaching us some fun facts about cork screws :). The view of this place is unmatched and it goes hand in hand with the relaxed vibe that the place holds. When we were eating here it really felt like time stopped. After a bit the cat of the owner came to say hello to us and ended up sitting in my lap🥰 such an adorable fur ball (i called it giuseppe). Would give it 10 stars if i could! Highly recommended!

06/09/2025: We stayed at the farm for 3 nights, we did not want to leave. We will miss seeing these wonderful people. They are the nicest people you can meet anywhere. Such wonderful host and wonderful location. The food that was served to us during our dinner was worth 4 times what they charged us. Traditional Italian food made with love. Delicious!. This was the best food we had on our 2 week trip. I have never met such beautiful and understanding people. We were traveling with our disabled son and they bent over backwards to accommodate him. Also recommend taking the Italian cooking class that is offered by the family, you won’t be disappointed.

04/09/2025: Wonderful experience. My boyfriend and I spent a weekend here. Beautiful views, away from the noise and just steps from the San Giuliano dam, ideal for those looking for a quiet getaway. Excellent location, close to tourist attractions like Matera and other Basilicata villages like Castelmezzano. You can also dine there; we did once and had a really good time. The owner was friendly and the dishes were traditionally prepared with passion. Excellent value for money for all the amenities. We were very satisfied.

14/10/2025: The food at the restaurant is really good. The owner explained that the tomatoes and olives come from her own garden – and you can really taste their freshness. The bread from Matera was soft, fresh, and very tasty. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the owner's behavior – she stood at the table waiting for us to choose our dishes, then came back several times to clear up, even though we were still eating. She probably wanted less work, but that made it difficult to fully relax. At the end, she offered us a small coffee dessert – a nice gesture that left a good impression. Overall, it's worth visiting for the food alone.

10/08/2025: A great experience, the rooms were really clean and the staff was friendly. The only downside was the lack of communication regarding check-out time. It's also in a super ideal location for exploring the city.

My wife and I were there for three nights and had the pleasure of experiencing three different musical evenings, all united by the fun everyone had. The cocktails and beers were good, with a wide selection, but the team, Francesco in particular, made the difference. See you next time and we'll also try the food, since we always arrived after dinner. Thanks for your hospitality.

29/10/2025: This restaurant is underrated, so disregard the rating. The owner is a charming man who loves his work and is attentive to his guests. We chose several appetizers to sample: a tasting of olive oils (for enthusiasts or those new to olive oil), an excellent octopus salad, and a platter of local charcuterie. The main courses are varied and offer something for everyone. That day, they featured specialties with mushrooms from Matera and lamb tataki (a marvel!). The desserts are also excellent. But above all… the wine cellar! Housed in a former cistern in the city, the wine list is a veritable encyclopedia! Highly recommended.

(photo) Excellent food, from the fine Roman-style pizzas, perfectly cooked in a wood-fired oven and made with quality ingredients, to the excellent fish and meat. Tonight I had lemon tagliolini with delicious red shrimp tartare (photo) and a Neapolitan-style mussel soup with octopus, shrimp, and scampi with crostini, excellent. My son always orders the Fassona Beef Battita, beautiful and delicious! (photo) Beautiful place, both inside and out. The terrace has a breathtaking view of the surrounding villages. The wine list is also extensive and includes quality cellars. Really good prices for what you eat and drink. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for both a family outing and a romantic dinner.

24/08/2025: Beautiful location, good food, adequate pizza, small portions for the price. The service was informal and inattentive. Bread never arrived at our table. We struggled to get the waiters' attention, despite the fact that there was no confusion. The sliced ​​steak was good, but the potatoes almost never arrived, and we were served 4. The mixed grill had too much pork and was really small; luckily it was for my wife, I should have eaten 2. Pizza scaletta and biscottata.
