16/10/2025: Best pizza in Sassi. Maybe the best pizza in all of Italy. Go here you won’t be disappointed.

28/09/2025: This pizzeria is charming with a good menu and wine seems to be good everywhere we go! We shared a pizza that was tasty and filling. The service was friendly and there was no rush to get us to leave when it started getting busy. Overall a good experience.

23/10/2025: We had a wonderful time at this cafe. The owner is lovely and even gave us a tour of the entire former convent. It's magnificent. We drank the best wine of our trip there!

01/10/2025: We had some lunch here and it topped all of our expectations!! The food was amazing and the vibe was just perfect (They also have the famous matera bread which is a must try when you are here). The guy that helped us was really nice and helpful in every way he could, he was even teaching us some fun facts about cork screws :). The view of this place is unmatched and it goes hand in hand with the relaxed vibe that the place holds. When we were eating here it really felt like time stopped. After a bit the cat of the owner came to say hello to us and ended up sitting in my lap🥰 such an adorable fur ball (i called it giuseppe). Would give it 10 stars if i could! Highly recommended!

21/08/2025: This is the second year we've chosen this farmhouse for our holidays, and we can only confirm our overwhelmingly positive experience. The apartments are always very clean and well-maintained, and the welcome is truly special: Ilaria and her parents are extraordinary people, kind and always available. A place that exudes warmth and genuine hospitality.

19/08/2025: We booked for 12:45, went in, and ordered. At 1:23, it was a complete waste of time. Having small children, we asked if they would at least bring us bread, and in response, they told us that they start lunch at 1:00! After showing that it had been a while, they replied that they would start lunch all at once! In the end, we left at 3:00 without having finished lunch, with the full price paid! Not even a discount! The food takes a back seat after this attitude!

01/11/2025: Beautiful and well-kept hotel, friendly staff, very nice and interesting excursion with Basilicata Adventure. The main problem was a Halloween party/disco in a room in the small hotel until 2:30 a.m. Even though we were on the second floor, the volume and bass were so high that the bed vibrated. It was a sleepless night and we had to wake up early for the excursion they organized. We recommend notifying guests before booking.

03/10/2025: Friendly and helpful staff, especially the night receptionist, who welcomed me like family, despite my stressful time. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, and the breakfast was generous. With a better shower, it would be perfect!

01/11/2025: There's not much to say about Sisina. She's simply extraordinary, both as a woman and as a host. For us, coming to Basilicata is impossible without stopping here. The commitment and passion with which they cook every time at extremely reasonable prices is a pleasure. It's like stepping back in time. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

17/08/2025: Excellent baguette shop with fresh, local products. My boyfriend and I went there for dinner and had two baguettes and a platter of cured meats and cheeses. Everything was delicious! However, the service was very slow (despite the place being almost empty). Furthermore, although the baguette shop is open for lunch, it doesn't offer service. Still, highly recommended!

The culinary art in the hands of Chef Pasquale is unmatched! His FRIZZULI WITH CRISPY CRUSCO PEPPER is an experience of erotic pleasure.

24/08/2025: Yesterday, a friend of mine brought me almond pastries from this pastry shop in Tursi, Piedmont. They're wonderful, incredibly soft, and delicious. The best I've ever tasted. Congratulations!

06/08/2025: Very nice place, very kind, courteous, and helpful staff, excellent quality panzerotti: not overflowing with filling, nor empty, just the right balance to enjoy the filling without getting dirty. Highly recommended. I really enjoyed it. I plan to stop by again despite the hour and a half drive!
