We had lunch here. It may seem like a touristy place, so you don't expect top-notch food, but I can say I enjoyed an excellent platter of traditional cured meats and two fabulous first courses, light and made with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The spaghettoni with peperone crusco are highly recommended.

The food was very good. :-) Both the appetizer and the main course, but the wait was very long and I had to remind the waiter twice. In the end, my wife got a completely different dish, but it tasted very good.

We went for dinner yesterday. We had a very good meal, the service was excellent, the owner was very helpful, and the place was very nice, clean, and welcoming.

We had lunch on May 1st, and with a large influx of tourists, the restaurant was quite crowded. Having had trouble finding parking, we were late for our reserved time, but they waited for us and seated us anyway.
The staff, though very busy, was friendly and helpful. We sampled some typical Lucanian dishes and found them to be truly delicious. The bill was also fair. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the following Saturday to try the pizza, which also features a few local flavors.

Lovely little terrace with a view. Delicious food.
And a young woman who speaks French, which is quite rare in Matera. I highly recommend it.
