Meh. As many other reviews have noted, service is pretty bad. It seemed to get better once the head server arrived which suggests an undertrained wait staff. Ordered a '18 vintage wine, was told they only had the '19, was then served a '22 and charged for the '19.
Food wise, some dishes were great (beef cheeks & pork belly), but others were really poorly balanced (calzoncello & spaghettoni).
All in all, it's a sort of B-minus experience. I don't regret going, but I wouldn't go back.

We dined at this restaurant during a short stay in Matera. We had appetizers and first courses, all very good and excellent value for money.

My wife and I went there for dinner with our 11-month-old baby.
We had two pizzas and a zucchini pasta.
The pizza was delicious, cooked to perfection and very easy to digest.
The pizza chef was also very good with our son. He made him happy in every way possible.
He loved the pasta.

A very pleasant dinner on the terrace. Excellent service and delicious dishes served on a tablecloth: zucchini blossoms, pasta with lamb ragù. The local wine was much appreciated. And the tiramisu was delicious too! The dishes at neighboring tables also looked very tempting!

As a chef, I can tell you that Nunzio is number 1, the owner and accomplice of Cui hai bisogno! Thanks for the open windows ☺️ 10/10 food! If you like lamb, "The traditional roast" is a must! Super super super

Delicious pizza, friendly staff in a family atmosphere. The lighting was unfortunately a bit harsh. Highly recommended.

We had lunch here. It may seem like a touristy place, so you don't expect top-notch food, but I can say I enjoyed an excellent platter of traditional cured meats and two fabulous first courses, light and made with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The spaghettoni with peperone crusco are highly recommended.

The food was very good. :-) Both the appetizer and the main course, but the wait was very long and I had to remind the waiter twice. In the end, my wife got a completely different dish, but it tasted very good.
