23/11/2025: Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. I ordered a Napoli pizza, and this is how it was... the Deliveroo guy apologized, and that's fine. I called the pizzeria to ask why the anchovies were missing from the pizza, and the response was, "I remember putting them on, I have cameras, so I'll take care of it." Now I don't know how the person who appeared to be the owner is trying to cure me, but you shouldn't treat customers who have been ordering from this pizzeria for a long time. But it's fine, I'll change pizzerias.

27/01/2026: A must-see during a visit to Bernalda. I only had a coffee at Coppola's bar, La Cinecittà. The atmosphere was interesting, with clear references to the world of cinema. A quick but enjoyable experience for those who love cinema and want to see a piece of local history.

26/11/2025: We visited the Lounge Café for breakfast, having been directed there by the hotel. It's a classic, typically Italian breakfast—simple, fresh, and delicious. It's not a culinary revelation or an otherworldly experience, but overall it's decent and enjoyable. The place serves its purpose: a quick, light breakfast, good coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for starting the day, though without the "wow" factor.

15/12/2025: Excellent... if you like frozen food Terrible experience. I ordered a pork chop and was served a piece of meat that was clearly defrosted (and badly defrosted) in taste and texture. The serious problem is that the menu didn't have any asterisks or indications that it was frozen. Paying for fresh food and eating frozen food that wasn't marked is not only a disservice, it's disrespectful to the customer and an unfair business practice. The meat was inedible. Not recommended for those looking for honesty and quality.

18/11/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant in the historic center of Matera by chance, and I must say we were lucky after having rejected at least four other restaurants that didn't inspire confidence in our search for local, homemade delicacies. Excellent welcome from the kind and attentive waiter... We don't know his name, but he was Venezuelan and exuded great empathy and professionalism. Excellent, authentically Lucanian and homemade food, as shown in the attached photo. Cavatelli alla Lucana and Lucanian sausage. Ash-crusted potato. We recommend it. Valerio & Francesca

11/10/2025: A spacious place suitable for groups. If you want a quiet place, it's a bit uncomfortable just because the tables are close together (you can see your neighbor's food). The food is good, but the service is fast and a bit too intimate, which I don't like. Located right next to a gas station, it's not the best for lunch or dinner, but it's great for those passing through. It's a good stop for those on a long journey who need to stop for a quick rest between lunch or dinner. It's also a great place to hang out with friends or co-workers and make a bit of a fuss.

09/03/2026: We had made a reservation, yet they left us standing for a whole hour before freeing up a table. "Five more minutes," they told us every fifteen minutes with a forced smile that, after the third time, sounded like a joke. Once we were seated, the real chaos began. The place was a chaos: waiters rushing around aimlessly, plates being returned to the kitchen, and a noise so deafening it was impossible to talk to the person sitting next to you. Two hours to get pizzas at the table. The most irritating thing was watching tables who arrived much later than us calmly finish their dinner, while we were systematically ignored. Amateur management and total disorganization. Knowing how to turn on an oven isn't enough if you don't know how to manage a dining room. An evening ruined by chaos and disregard for the customer. Never again.

22/11/2025: Pasticcio in every sense, a truly appropriate name... Short staff for a large number of customers, long waits and pizza really not up to expectations, too burnt and with not enough mozzarella. I will never go back... Highly not recommended, the only positive note is the kindness of the waiters.

01/11/2025: Good evening, I attended the murder mystery dinner. It was a terrible experience. The food was insufficient for the price paid, plus it was a boring and poorly organized evening. I will never return. I strongly advise against it.

25/02/2026: The location is great, but that's about it. We ordered two paninis, but only one arrived. When we asked the staff why the second one hadn't come, the young employee mistakenly thought we wanted to order two more, indicating problems with both order taking and communication. Even more incomprehensible is that, despite it being February, the off-season, and with only about three tables occupied, we still waited almost 30 minutes for our food. The efficiency was truly disappointing. As for the food itself, the paninis were just average, nothing special. Overall, a poor experience; I wouldn't recommend it.

23/12/2025: The setting and the presentation of the dishes are very beautiful, but the service leaves much to be desired. It took them an hour to bring the drinks and appetizers. The dish was incomplete, and when we asked for more, the waitress didn't even apologize. Furthermore, the quality-price ratio wasn't adequate. If the service had been kinder and more empathetic, I would have given it more stars. It wasn't what I expected.

23/12/2025: There were four of us for dinner, and unfortunately, the experience got off to a terrible start. After ordering our appetizers, we had to wait a full 55 minutes for them to arrive. Furthermore, the "Salmon Carpaccio with Caviar" appetizer was served with smoked salmon and no caviar. Only after we pointed this out were we told that the caviar was used "as a decoration," which we found unjustifiable, given that it was clearly indicated on the plate. The caviar was only added later. The raw seafood we ordered was also decidedly disappointing: two oysters and three prawns for €35, a quantity and quality that absolutely didn't justify the price. The only positive note was the location, which was very beautiful. Otherwise, unfortunately, the service was lacking...no apologies, no smiles, despite the poor service. And in restaurants, sometimes, the attention and attitude of the staff are as important as the food. Overall, a negative experience.
