17/08/2025: €15 for two scoops of supermarket ice cream. €3 of which is for service. If putting tablecloths on a table brought in €3, I'd be rich!! Answer: Specialty or not, you don't charge €15 for ice cream.

24/09/2025: I'll start with the good: The resort feels safe. It is quiet in mid September with the older generation. The pools are open with plenty of chairs and no one in them. You have everything you need on site, so you don'thave to leave unless you want to. There is a market, a restaurant, a pizzeria and a private beach. Some bad: The rooms are dated and not well stocked for a week stay. We dont like to eat out, so we rely on a stocked kitchen and a working range. The surrounding location is very barren. There is a small town about 10 minutes away, but it didn't offer too much as far as entertainment, but we did find a coffee shop and a market. The thing I disliked most is that the beach is closed at night. Overall, not a bad place for a family vacation.

30/08/2025: A pleasant discovery! Excellent trattoria inside the farmhouse next to the main road, you don't even have to leave. Quick service and delicious, abundant typical Basilicata dishes. Pictured are Lucanian-style ferricelli and cacciatore-style rabbit. More than fair price. I'd go back!

27/08/2025: Abbiamo mangiato ottimamente, da anni in questo periodo ci andiamo e anche quest'anno siamo rimasti soddisfatti, noto con piacere che la proprietaria e il personale sono attenti alle normative covid e accolgono i clienti in un'ambiente sicuro e famigliare. Piatti abbondanti e sconsigliati per chi è a dieta.

03/10/2025: Very good Italian snacks, delicious coffee. We really enjoyed a great meal of delicious Italian products and drank delicious Italian coffee for a small price. :) I highly recommend it. It's in the center of Matera, where you can really find something delicious to eat and relax while sightseeing. Great service!

10/10/2025: While I was waiting for the girl to wrap the bread I ordered, three flies crawled unharmed over the croissants and focaccia, while the employee remained indifferent. The sight was very disturbing. I gave one star so that my review would be published. I wouldn't have given any stars.

24/07/2025: Truly delicious pizza, served with attentive and friendly service! Very comfortable and spacious place, with a lovely outdoor area. Parking is quite easy.

01/09/2025: Very busy bakery, even late at night. The focaccia pizzas are thick and well-leavened, with a good selection. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. They also have a wide selection of sweet and savory biscuits, as well as pastries. The chocolate peels are a must-try. They also have a wide selection of fresh bread.

14/09/2025: It was love at first sight. The place is truly well-maintained, both inside and out. It's very welcoming, beautifully decorated, and every detail is meticulously thought out. All the staff are kind and competent, courteous, and available to answer any questions. Vito and Nunzio are two excellent chefs, very knowledgeable, and offer advice that's more than just excellent! They serve dishes like paintings, and the flavor is indescribable. Whatever they cook (and I assure you, I've tried everything), it's unmatched. The prices are fair and in line with the quality of the food.

17/10/2025: We came later at night and the food was great. They let you order at the table from a tablet so you can take your time looking if you don’t speak Italian. The fried rice was so good with a good mix of veggies. The sushi was average. Overall we really enjoyed eating here!

14/10/2025: I highly recommend Sushi Stone. This is my fourth or fifth time visiting Matera and I have eaten at four or five different sushi restaurants in that time and this is by far my new favorite. They offer all you can eat for lunch and dinner as well as à la carte. I always choose à la carte. Today my server was amazing. Not speaking Italian I needed a lot of help and he was great. He probably came to my table ten times in the hour I spent there and never made me feel like a nuisance. I enjoyed a shrimp tempura roll and gyoza. I also ordered dishes to take back home and everything was delicious. All of my special requests were honored and they did not up charge me for anything. The restaurant is super convenient, right behind the Palumbaro, beautiful, and the prices are very reasonable in spite of being n the middle of tourists. This will be my go to place for sushi and Chinese in the future.
