27/01/2026: A must-see during a visit to Bernalda. I only had a coffee at Coppola's bar, La Cinecittà. The atmosphere was interesting, with clear references to the world of cinema. A quick but enjoyable experience for those who love cinema and want to see a piece of local history.

11/07/2026: If you think you're walking into a typical restaurant, think again! Here, you'll have a completely different experience. There's no menu: you choose your meat directly from the butcher's counter, just like when you see a spectacular cut at the butcher's and think, "I'd eat that right now!" And here, you really can. The staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and always available. The meat is exceptional: tender, flavorful, and literally melts in your mouth. If you're in the area, stop by... you won't regret it!

10/02/2026: Returning after eight years, you'll find the same quality, courtesy, and passion. The Matera bread is excellent, as are the croissants, the sweet donuts, the focaccia, and the taralli... A truly historic bakery, run by the passion of a true master baker.

My wife and I were there for three nights and had the pleasure of experiencing three different musical evenings, all united by the fun everyone had. The cocktails and beers were good, with a wide selection, but the team, Francesco in particular, made the difference. See you next time and we'll also try the food, since we always arrived after dinner. Thanks for your hospitality.

29/05/2026: I gave it three stars for the outdoor space and karaoke. Fast service from a classless, improvised waiter. Mediocre pizza, definitely worth the price of the dentist (very hard). The friendliness of the management was zero. I will never return.

09/07/2026: I ate a little while ago and the food was terrible, plus the raw food had a very unpleasant smell. I said I couldn't eat it, and we didn't eat anything. They still charged us the amount indicated on the bill and added an extra dish that we hadn't eaten.

02/07/2026: Casello 75 in Matera was one of the best meals we had on our trip. It came highly recommended by friends and did not disappoint. We sat on the beautiful terrace and received warm, friendly service throughout the evening. We shared everything, starting with the delicious Matera bread and local olive oil, along with a fresh mixed salad. The Pizzella Pugliese with burrata, basil and tomato was excellent. The almond and burrata filled ravioli with roasted tomato sauce and hamachi was absolutely delicious. The entrecôte with cherry tomatoes and rocket was cooked perfectly, and the baked potatoes were excellent. We also enjoyed a wonderful bottle of local white wine from the Basilicata region. To finish, the affogato was to die for. A fantastic meal and a restaurant I would highly recommend in Matera

23/06/2026: We went for dinner with friends. A charming place and excellent traditional cuisine!! Friendly staff. The owner entertained us with funny and pleasant stories. I highly recommend it.

16/06/2026: The restaurant is well-kept and the atmosphere is relaxing. It has a small outdoor terrace with a spectacular view! Antonio is a host who immediately puts you at ease. He has a passion for cooking and describes every dish with love! The quality is excellent, the prices are more than fair! I recommend it to anyone who wants to escape the chaos and experience a time of calm and peace! Thank you, Antonio, for your welcome and for sharing part of your life with us.

27/03/2026: The dinner was average in terms of flavor. It's a shame that the menus provided at the tables are absolutely dated, and almost nothing you order, other than pizza, is available or true to the description. We tried orecchiette with cardoncelli mushrooms and sausage, but they weren't available, so we settled for the tagliata with porcini mushrooms. Two tagliata for €18 each... and they arrived without porcini mushrooms. They were accompanied by a sad pile of arugula and pecorino cheese (grated, not even flakes). The flavor was okay... but frankly, not what we ordered. We tried to mention this to the manager at checkout. He apologized but couldn't do anything about the final price. The result: a dinner priced disproportionately for the setting and service, and above all, completely different from what we originally ordered. What a shame... so little would have been enough!

14/02/2026: A sophisticated location, but a little more attention to detail could be appreciated. There's no table service, but orders are taken quickly and courteously. The menu is varied and generally good. Prices are average and in line with the experience offered.

09/02/2026: I was definitely disappointed by the service and the quality of the product. My hot chocolate was overly sweet and runny. At other bars, you can choose between different flavors (dark, orange, black cherry, etc.). At this bar, only the one. What about the service? There's no table service, and I had to carry my tray up the stairs. Papers and other stuff on the floor. I WON'T RETURN.

20/03/2026: Great place for casual lunch, or special dinner. The menu is quite limited, but they cook everything perfectly, pizza is available for both lunch and dinner, and is excellent. Service is great, and prices are reasonable.

04/03/2026: I'll start by saying that it was Saturday night and it was quite crowded. We did eat well, but unfortunately we were surprised by the very low level of response from one waiter. After constant calls and waiting, we were told "I'm not the only one here." This ruined everything. I'm sorry, but fortunately another waitress partially resolved the issue. I understand Saturday night. I understand the lack of staff, but certain responses shouldn't be given.

01/05/2026: It lives up to the hype and then some. The ingredients are excellent even for Italy.

10/02/2026: Excellent pizzeria in the heart of Pomarico (MT). The salmon pizza and pesto pizza were phenomenal and enormous. The "Triumph of Cold Cuts and Cheeses" appetizer was excellent. Not to mention the fantastic chocolate liqueur served at the end of the meal. The location was also truly beautiful. The owner and waitress were both very kind, knowledgeable, and always smiling, which is just as important as the first two. We'll be back soon. A top experience!
