A wonderful experience in Matera. We were with friends and went to this place.
We only had a drink and a bite to eat, but it was enough to understand the potential of Materia Prima. We must return as soon as possible to learn more.

Extraordinary location in a beautiful square right below Imma Tataranni's house.
Very good food, shame about the "local" cured meats, which were more slices of cooked ham than anything else. The staff was friendly and quick.

An excellent experience! The food is excellent, the dishes are original, seasonal, and also suitable for vegetarians. The restaurant is well-kept and charming. The highlight is the owner, who with passion, expertise, and generosity explains the dishes, guides you through the wine selection, and engages you in the history of the restaurant. We had a wonderful time, and next time I'm in Matera, I'll definitely eat here again!

A modern restaurant in a historic building, with informal furnishings and lighting that could be improved. The two of us decided to share several original appetizers. The crostini with turnip greens, stracciatella, and bell peppers was excellent, the turmeric focaccia was special, and the three hummus options were very original. The anchovy tacos were delicious. We finished with the perfect pumpkin and mushroom cream soup. We drank a local sparkling rosé and water. A riot of flavors and sensations. The informal service was extremely friendly, and the owner's explanations were thorough.
