02/06/2025: Typical restaurant in the heart of Pisticci. Welcoming atmosphere, generous portions, good quality. We ordered appetizer, first course, second course and dessert and rediscovered the flavors of typical home cooking. The waiter who served us was very kind. They were very patient with us, allowing us to stay a little longer than closing time without rushing us, allowing us to enjoy each course. If we were to find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely come back to them! Highly recommended!

27/11/2024: Sono stato in questa bella location con amici, abbiamo preso antipasto e giro pizza cotta bene, servizio ottimo gestito dal personale e direttamente anche dalla proprietaria, tutto perfetto, ottima anche la location con parcheggi vicinissimo al locale, da consigliare!

13/02/2025: We stayed in this facility over the weekend from 7 to 9 February, unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to find snow but the place gave us many other attractions: the enchanting lake plain, the village of Pignola and a visit to the historic center of Potenza. As for the hotel, excellent location and everything well managed but my review is aimed in particular at the restaurant's cuisine... simply excellent, a chef who delighted us with his dishes and recipes, and then a special thanks to Daniele of the staff for his availability and courtesy. We will definitely be back to find snow too!

23/03/2025: An evening at Joy is always a small gift that we give ourselves. The place has parking, it is convenient to reach. The staff is young and polite as are the owners. The food is really good and being local, I often see Andrea and Cinzia buying products in the shops in the town. Meat, fruit and vegetables, these are the same products we buy for our home and they don't skimp on quality; this is their strong point. The dishes are truly generous and you leave the restaurant satisfied both for the "healthy and well-attended" environment and for what you ate. As for prices, you certainly spend less than at a restaurant but given the variety of the menu and drinks, you leave really satisfied. A lot of courage and work make Joy a little pearl of our country.

26/05/2025: My favorite bakery in Matera, tradition meeting the modern approach. We did a bread experience with a group from Canada and USA, it helps to understand better the story of Matera. Love to see 2 woman/2 sisters, Patrizia e Sabrina running this bakery, it is refreshing. My favorite is the focaccia with sausage, peperone crusco, cime di rapa and the bread of course. Can’t wait to come back! Grazie

16/04/2025: Tuvimos una experiencia de panificación programada para nuestra familia. Las mejores partes eran el panadero, Enzo, y el propietario. Enzo fue muy amable y paciente con todos nosotros, especialmente nuestros hijos. Ojalá tuviéramos más tiempo con él. La propietaria, disculpas por no saber su nombre, fue una anfitriona maravillosa, sirviéndonos vino y hermosa focaccia y terminando con maravillosos dulces de almendra. Sin embargo, faltaba experiencia en panadería. La masa de pan fue preparada para nosotros, la manejamos por un corto tiempo, y Enzo nos mostró cómo colocarla en un horno. Eso fue todo: Sin hacer masa, sin hornear habría estado bien preparar más masa y trabajar con un horno encendido, y no frío. Tengo medidas de seguridad, pero hay que añadir más a la experiencia. Denisa, (así que) nuestra guía, mostró tres diapositivas en la sala de estar, un tazón de trigo y un tazón de harina. Eso fue todo. Había docenas de diapositivas que nunca vimos y muy poca explicación del proceso de horneado y su historia. Nos sentamos y escuchamos sus historias de vida personal y fuimos corregidos numerosas veces en nuestra pronunciación de palabras italianas. Un enfoque más amable habría sido preguntarle si podía compartir esa información. Uno de los niños dijo que la masa de focaccia sabía a masa de pizza. Una vez más, un duro sabelo todo responde a un niño de nueve años que las dos cosas no son lo mismo. Algo de amabilidad y tacto están en orden aquí. Fue muy incómodo durante la mayor parte de la visita, y a 275 euros para los siete de nosotros, definitivamente no vale la pena a ese costo.

21/05/2025: A beautiful discovery in Sant'Arcangelo – finally a place I'll happily return to every day I've been having lunch and dinner at this restaurant regularly for two months and I can say with certainty that it was a pleasant discovery. The place is new, well-kept, with comfortable tables even at the entrance – ideal for those who, like me, appreciate being able to go out for a smoke without going too far. Parking right in front is almost always available, a plus not to be underestimated. The menu is surprising: varied but not dispersive, with balanced and well-thought-out land and sea options. The quality of the fish is truly remarkable, which is not at all a given in the area. I also tried the pizza, which is not Neapolitan but more Roman-style: thin, crispy, tasty – perfect for a change every now and then. And this is coming from someone who comes from Naples! The portions are very generous, well above average, and the prices are decidedly fair compared to the quality of the dishes served. An excellent quality-price ratio that makes you want to return often. Among my favorite dishes, the grilled fish stands out, always fresh and well cooked, and the appetizer "al solito posto", which is truly a small visual and flavorful masterpiece. The selection of desserts and seasonal fruit is also well-curated and abundant. But the real "strong point" of this place is the staff. A completely family management that transmits warmth and hospitality. Lucia, always kind and helpful, is a perfect hostess. In the kitchen, chef Decimo is a fast, creative and always up to the task professional. In the dining room, Mattia and Noemi complete the experience with their smile and kindness. For someone like me who travels often, finding a place where you can feel at home every day is a gift. Congratulations to all the staff, and keep it up!

26/04/2025: I have gone there several times and every time I leave this place satisfied! Each course is delicious, the highest quality products, cooked very well, make the lunch exceptional. From starters to first courses, from second courses to desserts, from side dishes to wines, all prepared impeccably. The typical traditional products of the country, prepared by them, are truly a discovery worth trying. Compliments!

20/02/2025: Small restaurant in a residential area. Lots of parking but always occupied by residents who live in the area. Food: appetizers failed, I didn't like the fried foods they offer, burnt and dry. Decent first courses. Excellent desserts. In short, no too many demands

21/08/2024: Il gelato è buono, niente da dire: cremoso, gusti intensi e ben equilibrati. Però, francamente, la quantità lascia parecchio a desiderare. Non è possibile pagare un certo prezzo e ritrovarsi con due palline minuscole. Vengo spesso e non è la prima volta che succede, il tempo di uscire dal locale che è già finito. Posso apprezzare la qualità, ma un po' più di generosità non guasterebbe.
