Why this place is only 4.2 when I’m writing is a mystery. Wow, what a spot. Wonderful service great food. They will explain every dish if u want them to.

We went there for lunch and came back for dinner. Run by young, friendly people, we ate well and recommend it.

We had one of the most beautiful culinary experiences in Matera at Mosto. Everything — from the atmosphere to the presentation of each dish — was exceptional. The food is crafted with care, using local ingredients and creative combinations that are perfectly balanced. Every plate had that special moment that makes you pause and think: wow. A big part of our experience was thanks to Gabriela, who guided us through the menu with genuine warmth and professionalism. She recommended exactly what we should try, sharing the story behind each dish and helping us discover flavors we might have otherwise missed. Her attention, kindness, and passion elevated the entire evening. Mosto is the kind of place where every detail matters. You leave not just satisfied, but genuinely happy.

The Atmosphere: Where History Embraces Comfort Upon crossing the entrance, we were immediately enveloped by an atmosphere of subtle elegance and deep respect for the city's roots. The delicately lit ambiance manages the feat of being both monumental and welcoming. Every decorative detail seems to tell a story, creating an intimate refuge that makes us forget the rhythm of the outside world. It is a space that embraces, where contemporary design whispers in perfect harmony with the ancient past. We are grateful for the hospitality. We will return!

The service is impeccable, and Mrs. Gabriela, our Romanian, offers excellent recommendations according to each person's preferences. We tried: * Tagliere Misto – a tasty mixed platter of cheeses and cold cuts; * Parmigiana Tiramisù – a delicious reinterpretation, similar to an eggplant moussakale; * Orecchiette al Tegamino – traditional pasta prepared perfectly, exactly to our taste, with an absolutely delicious tomato sauce; * Tiramisù – small portion, but extremely tasty. A perfect place for a tasty lunch or a special dinner. I recommend with all confidence!❤️

A historic venue in the heart of Matera's nightlife. If you're looking for a quick aperitivo, a delicious lunch, or a quality dinner, always accompanied by good music and excellent drinks, this is the place for you. I've tried many places with the same format, but I always end up coming back to these. Well done!
