23/06/2026: I had a great experience at the Ranch Dambros restaurant. The dishes are all truly excellent: fresh, carefully prepared, and meticulously prepared. The kitchen offers both meat and fish, with consistently high quality. The on-site grill is also particularly noteworthy, making some dishes even more flavorful and distinctive. The prices are incredibly affordable: it's hard to find such value elsewhere. I personally come almost every day to order the "Ranch Platter" with a bottle of sparkling water for just €7.10, a truly unbeatable price for what they serve. The staff is always very professional, friendly, and cheerful, and helps make the experience even more enjoyable. This is precisely why I chose to return every day: I've had a truly enjoyable experience in every way. The only major flaw is that it's incredibly hot, and I can imagine the staff working the grill without exhaust ventilation and air conditioning dying. I hope this review helps to make some changes out of respect for the customers who pay for comfortable service.

15/07/2026: Last evening on the island of Elba, we were looking for a special place for dinner. Near the port of Marina di Campo we saw the L'Approdo restaurant, and we were won over by its charming appearance and the view of the sea!!! Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience on all fronts!! Terrible food, poor quality and even worse cooking, the staff gave me the impression of intolerance, the prices too excessive for the quality and service. They brought one dish at a time, practically we didn't all dine together, a terrible mistake for a restaurant. I sent back the fried fish twice, it was soaked in oil, uneatable. They didn't bring the menu to my son, who is on the autism spectrum... He can read very well... I decided with bitterness to leave this extension, which I usually don't do. I am ending my stay on this beautiful island, which has given me so many emotions, with this unfortunately negative experience. I hope it is constructive for the restaurant.

03/05/2026: For the first time I wanted to get grilled and rib-eye steak to take away, a disappointment: black rib steak, reheated, dry and tasteless, the rib steak released a dark liquid. I usually went to the place for lunch and always found it excellent, but this time almost everything ended up in the trash. I'm sorry, but I've done a lot of grilling and I understand when it's reheated.

20/07/2026: I'm sorry to write the negative reviews... but I'm writing it more for them... since they opened until today they have maintained a practically DESTROYED service.. We found ourselves at a table with all colleagues who had already ALL had this bad experience 'including us' and ALL had promised each other not to return 'but unfortunately a colleague had ordered and she was the only one who didn't know' anyway if you go to this place know that the pizza if you order it at 8pm doesn't arrive before midnight, and above all it is almost always burnt "surely due to the rush to take it out of the oven" .. half the room leaves and goes away after the appetizer... and this has happened more than a few times... they have really had the problem since they opened... after which I turn to the guy who I believe is the owner.. as advice I tell you THE FIRST THING THE CUSTOMER IS ALMOST ALWAYS RIGHT even if he is not right he must still be respected " and the guy also responds by threatening "it happened before us " I will put my hands on you " and then for Personal experience: you don't always find someone who makes you talk that way... you can also find someone who can take the habit away from you... that said... you haven't had a POS for years and I want to remind you IT IS MANDATORY!

19/07/2026: Poor professionalism, poor manners, and a waiter who answered without being asked. We arrived at 9:00 PM and ate pizza at 11:00 PM. There were 6 of us, only 5 pizzas arrived, and after several reminders, the wrong one arrived. It was a terrible experience.

29/12/2025: We went on January 27th for an aperitif, we were greeted by informing us that the beer dispenser was out of order, we ordered a grilled mortadella with lime and buffalo mozzarella to start but it arrived cold, without buffalo mozzarella but with a generic spicy cheese, we ordered a carpaccio but after half an hour we were told that it was not available, we ordered a Hugo but after that an ingredient was not available.... It's a shame because the place is very nice but the management and the prices need to be completely reviewed.

27/12/2025: I went for dinner last night. The waiters were knowledgeable and excellent. The beef burgers were excellent, and the steak was sublime. The owner was cheerful and came to the table to ask if everything was okay. I'll go again.

15/02/2026: I returned after two years, and I have to say I wasn't as happy as I was the last time. Let's start with the premise that if you're missing ingredients, like mussels, for the peppered mussels, you don't add clams without asking. Furthermore, the tagliolini allo scoglio weren't tagliolini allo scoglio, but a fish sauce with only calamari and two shrimp, and the pasta's tips weren't cooked through. I pointed this out to the waitress, and nothing changed except the usual smirk, and I went to report it to the chef.

21/07/2026: I went to this restaurant on Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM. As soon as we arrived, the waiter told us to wait because he would show us to our table, but he left us waiting for about 10 minutes even though the restaurant was practically empty. The service was also very poor when it came to taking our orders: the waiters could see us, but they kept walking right past us. We ordered three sandwiches, two of which were cold. The burger was cold from the refrigerator, dry, and seemed to have been made hours earlier. When we pointed this out, instead of remaking it, they simply reheated it slightly, so much so that the plate was piping hot, but the sandwich still wasn't up to par. Another negative note was the attitude toward children: we were left feeling unwelcome. If a restaurant isn't family-friendly, it would be better to communicate this clearly. During the entire service, we didn't see a single smile: personal issues should be kept out of the equation, especially considering that customers pay like everyone else. It's a shame, because we would have liked to order dessert as well, but no one came to the table to ask if we wanted anything else. After that experience, we completely lost the desire to stay any longer.

07/04/2026: We went for Easter Monday lunch expecting that, being a holiday, the wait might be longer than usual and that a little patience would be required. Unfortunately, however, the experience far exceeded our negative expectations. The waits between courses were truly excessive, especially between the appetizer and the mixed grill. But what bothered us most was the quality of the food: the grill was burnt, dry, and incomplete, even missing the beef. Considering it was a "mixed grill," one might expect a full variety of meats, which was not the case. The side dishes were also burnt and dry, confirming a general lack of attention to the preparation of the dishes. Overall, the quality of the food was decidedly poor. Another negative aspect was the lack of communication from the staff: no one informed us of any problems in the kitchen, and only after we reported it were we informed about the delays. We also noted several service deficiencies: the meat knives at the table next to ours were changed, while ours weren't. The seats were dirty and the tablecloth had stains, details that significantly impact the overall experience. It's a shame, because the location is truly beautiful. The only positive note: the grilled food was removed from the bill, as it was burnt and inedible. A thoughtful gesture, but not enough to make up for an overall disappointing experience.

28/12/2025: Good meat, mediocre place, but I don't understand the bill. The receipt is illegible. The bill is 65 euros. I'm asking for an explanation. 2 slices of horse meat 500g??? 54 euros. Ba!!??
