30/08/2025: A very pleasant experience. Very fast and attentive service. Despite the expected long wait, they managed to find us a seat in no time. The mixed grill and Bombette were exceptional.

23/08/2025: A small and simple place, but full of surprises. Excellent service, the staff were very kind and very quick. The meat was simply fabulous, so much so that we returned twice in three days to eat here. I recommend everyone stop by and try the bombette if you visit Alberobello.

29/08/2025: Dirty, piles of trays and glasses in the middle of the room, tables smothered in filthy, wet rags. I order a chicken and another half; the half was good, but I tried the other leg, which was bitter and inedible. I call the waitress and ask if she can change it for me or bring me another because it was inedible. She comes back after a minute and, in front of everyone, tells me that since I ate half of it, they'd make me pay anyway... 😱. I reply that only one leg was missing, not half, but I had asked for another anyway. The drink arrives without it, so I eat half and head to the cashier. Not only did they charge me the full price for the second chicken, but the bill was €40.50, and she asked me if I had 50 cents, otherwise she'd fill me up with change!!!! How to permanently lose a customer... Highly not recommended!!!

24/08/2025: A must for rotisserie chicken lovers. The chicken is super tasty, seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. You can taste the quality of the meat. The mustard mayo is a real treat. The fries are okay; I wasn't expecting artisanal fries, but overall they're good. There's a lunch deal: for €14, you get a whole chicken, fries, sauce, and water included. What can I say... Top. Very limited and strategic menu, absolutely intelligent and appreciated. Better one thing done well than a lot of random things 👏 A successful concept

20/07/2025: To those in Japan: I couldn't forget the bistecca I had in Florence, so I came to this bistecca restaurant for my last supper in Rome. The bistecca was just as delicious as the one in Florence. The staff were all lovely, too. Thank you bistecca. Thank you Italy.

20/07/2025: I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. My purse was stolen here. When resolving the issue, the staff acted like it didn't concern them.

15/07/2025: It's the most welcoming place I've ever visited! A great place for a quiet rest by the pool. The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious! Podere Violino is ideal for both families and groups of friends.

08/07/2025: Ich komme ein paar mal im Jahr zu Bastiano+Barbara. Es fasziniert mich immer wieder. Dieses Jahr hat er 8 wunderschöne Zimmer gebaut, mit viel Kastanienholz. Ich kann dieses Lokal sehr empfehlen.

05/07/2025: Ho soggiornato in questa struttura fuori dal paese di Desulo. Il prezzo per la struttura era il doppio rispetto ai due o tre BB che esistono in paese. Camera pulita ma niente di che. Bagno con una saponetta e due bustine di prodotti per la doccia. Vista sul parcheggio. Nei bb del paese era compresa la colazione che, mi dicono ospiti precedenti, essere ricca di prodotti freschi locali, con dolci e frutta fresca e anche la possibilità di avere del salato. Qui la colazione è desolante. Una confezione di fette biscottate, un panetto di burro,delle marmellate industriali e una confezione individuale di nutella. Una cosa indecente. Io sicuramente non tornerò mai più qui.

03/02/2025: È la seconda volta che mi trovo a recensire questo locale , dopo esserci stato per altre volte mi scendono trovato male ho deciso di riprovarci. Questa volta la disorganizzazione e i biblici tempi di attesta riscontrati nell’altra visita sono spariti, lasciando spazio a cibo di scarsa qualità che alla quasi totalità della tavolata ha causato un bel mal di stomaco e una notte in piedi! Bocciato definitivamente

23/12/2024: Oltre ad essere sempre un ottimo pub da visitare la sera, ci ha stupiti anche a pranzo con pietanze di pesce squisite:antipasti, primi, fritture:tutto veramente buonissimo e cucinato in maniera impeccabile...inoltre la gentilezza del personale e del proprietario Gigi non manca mai...da non sottovalutare poi, l'accessibilità dei prezzi. COMPLIMENTI

27/08/2025: Food: Porcheddu was good. Roast potatoes from a rotisserie. Charcuterie board: mediocre. Paper tablecloth. Service: 1. It's unfortunate to give such a low rating because these are working people, but the waiters are below average both in service and in understanding orders. They forget what you ordered and have to be called back. They're always grumpy and very, very rustic... not up to the task of serving customers, especially in a place like Porto Rotondo! We've been to this place twice (to give it a second chance) and the result is always the same = poor! We willingly pay for the quality of food and service wherever we go in Italy and the rest of the world, but these elements are missing in this restaurant!! €64 per person for Porcheddu, potatoes, 1 bottle of wine, 2 beers, 4 bottles of water, and 1 mirto is inexcusable and, moreover, absurd!

17/08/2025: We entered craving "impiccato" caciocavallo. Our arrival was preceded by a phone call from the manager of the Il Castello bar, who recommended that he repeat the "impiccato" caciocavallo he'd prepared for a previous festival. After receiving reassurances, we showed up at the tavern and asked for the agreed-upon dish. We were presented with a slice of grilled truffle caciocavallo, which anyone can make at home. The waitress, a charming but young and perhaps inexperienced woman, practically ignored our request. For the child, we asked for a baby pizza, which, instead of arriving before the other dishes, arrived last. If it hadn't been for my son, who went to get it from the pizza counter, we'd still be waiting. The ravioli with tomato sauce were good. Table service definitely needs updating.

15/08/2025: A DISSERVICE I've never seen before...if the facility isn't organized and capable of hosting so many people, I think they'll have to work every other day...VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN.

13/07/2025: The air conditioning was on full blast. I pointed this out to the store manager, who didn't respond, not even offering a response or justification... truly terrible service!

05/07/2025: Out of time. Or maybe, better said, a leap into the past. Briss briss lace curtains on the windows and dated furniture. Clean. Serious. Here time does not pass and it seems to have stopped in the mid 80s/early 90s. But the context does not matter much in a restaurant. Here if you take a crostini with lard you understand the difference. Here eat Tuscan. Two meatballs, crostini with livers, make two pici, maybe to share. And then the Florentine steak with the ancient method. Take these things. Tuscan things. And Tuscan wine. Baked potatoes. For being in Milan, not bad.

11/06/2025: The best italian restorant, excellent service and attitude. In all north Italia, we have never been serviced in such an incredible way.

20/08/2025: The Modica sandwich was good. Pasta alla trapanese was just cacio e pepe. Inedible because the pasta was overcooked. I ordered a beer, but it never arrived. I constructively brought this up at the cashier, and was rudely told that they don't gamble.

19/08/2025: The solid restaurant attracts tourists, with terrible food. Avoid for the food and lack of professionalism.
