22/10/2025: Nice café with a great children's play area, friendly staff, and fast service. The kids had a great time playing in the Duplo/glasses corner, and the sandwiches were perfectly fine.

30/08/2025: Café right on Schenna's main street. Delicious cakes (especially the whipped cream). Super friendly and dog-friendly staff.

03/06/2026: A terrible experience in every way. From the beginning, the service was extremely unpleasant: the waiter was rude and surly, even taking our orders without even looking us in the eye while speaking. The biggest disappointment came with the menu. It listed nine courses, but we only received six, without even the expected pineapple at the end. When we asked if the menu was complete, we were told yes, even though several courses were clearly missing. We felt cheated. As soon as I sat down, I mentioned that I have celiac disease and must strictly follow a gluten-free diet. Despite this, by the end of the evening I felt very ill, and the situation was so severe that I had to go to the emergency room. It was an experience that left me extremely worried and disappointed. Furthermore, I had booked through TheFork with the regular 20% discount. Due to the sudden feeling of uneasiness, I had to leave the restaurant quickly without being able to settle the bill immediately. The owner contacted me almost immediately, demanding payment and even threatening to report me to the Carabinieri. The following day, I personally contacted the restaurant to apologize for the incident, explain the situation, and confirm my full willingness to settle the bill. Despite this, I was asked to pay the full amount without applying the discount provided for my TheFork reservation, and, to add to the surprise, I was reported on the platform as a defaulter. Between rude service, missing dishes, a complete lack of attention to a significant dietary requirement, and the utterly unprofessional handling of the subsequent incident, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. Never again.

03/06/2026: The experience was completely positive. The food was very good and worth it, the service was excellent, and the staff was very polite and helpful. There were, however, a few downsides: the price was a bit high for the amount of meat served. I also had the impression that they didn't offer all nine types of meat listed on the menu, which further undermines the price. Otherwise, the place is very beautiful, the service is excellent, the cocktails are very good and well-made, and the food is high-quality. It doesn't quite live up to the claim about quantity, although you can ask for more meat, but I would have liked to try all the varieties available. Overall, the experience was very positive. A few extra touches would have made it perfect.

28/05/2026: My friends and I went there as tourists (there were three of us). I wanted to try Wagyu, so we chose this place. I ordered Wagyu, which was listed at 40 Euros on the menu. A single portion arrived, quite adequate (I'll include a picture). The meat was average. The worst part was realizing we'd been scammed. They claimed they brought that single portion of Wagyu for three people, but it wasn't. It was served as a single portion, not shared. Furthermore, even if they had brought it for three people, we didn't order it for three. At the exit, that single portion of Wagyu cost 80 Euros. My friend and I tried to explain the situation, but unfortunately, since we don't speak Italian, we couldn't explain properly. We explained our problem in English, but the owner was very dismissive. Because it was late and we needed to leave, we couldn't stay any longer and left. IN SHORT: This place ripped us off. If you go there, be sure to explicitly state that you will pay the price listed on the menu.

20/05/2026: Unthinkable! Gluten-free pizzas are baked in the same oven as those made with regular flour and handled with the same peels as other pizzas! When I asked for an explanation, they refunded me the price of the gluten-free pizza. 02/03/2026: Sunday lunch with friends, what can I say, poor. The appetizers were one dish for every two people: two tiny pieces of sausage, two microscopic mushrooms, two very thin sheets of pecorino, a tiny ricotta, etc., etc. We asked for more cheese, and they brought a different type. The drizzle of oil was very poor quality. The first course, with turnip tops, was good. The dessert, cheesecake, was definitely packaged. When we finished, I was still hungry. We paid €40, but for the same amount, we've eaten much more elsewhere and not been too cheap. Never again... highly discouraged.

15/02/2026: Sunday lunch, a lovely traditional restaurant, a bit small but welcoming and well-decorated. Homemade cuisine with excellent flavors and pairings. We opted for the set menu with a first course, which was truly complete and delicious, a choice of 6-8 appetizers, a first course, a second course, a side dish, dessert, and drinks. The Aglianico del Vulture wine from Cantina di Venosa Top was very good. The staff were kind and friendly, very professional. We'll definitely return, especially to enjoy the pizzeria.

21/05/2026: Reading negative reviews didn't stop us from celebrating a family event at Royal Beef this time either, because we know... We know that Pino and Lisa are excellent hosts, we know they accommodate us with a menu tailored to our every request, we know the quality of the food is unrivaled, and we know we always impress our guests... And so it was this time too: we celebrated our daughter's birthday with 20 guests; we started with their famous cheese and cured meat platter, eggplant parmigiana meatballs, sausage and broccoli rabe buns, and a sausage and baked potato skewer. All this was just the appetizer, because the undisputed star, as always, was the sliced ​​beef, superbly cooked by the chef. For us, Royal Beef is always a guarantee because it combines the quality of the product, the skill of the chef, and the hospitality of the hosts. Try it and believe it.

16/04/2026: At Ivan's, I can't figure out what the dissatisfied people ate, I say this for what little my opinion is worth. Whenever I'm in the Vezzolacca area, I try to go there. Tomorrow, since I'm nearby, I'll stop by again to see if my opinion changes.

04/03/2026: We were there a few weeks ago. The only good thing we ate was the appetizers. Everything else was terrible. The pasta all'amatriciana was just a plate of overcooked bucatini with a whole jar of tomato sauce, maybe a small piece of guanciale, and the tagliata was a whole, uncut steak, thrown on the plate with all the fat around it; it just tasted burnt. The potatoes, let alone those, were probably cooked the day before or old, as they were black. The famous Bortellina was a ball of boiling oil... We definitely won't be back.

09/05/2026: We sometimes get takeout from this lovely little place. Very close to where we live, the service is fast, and we devoured the sandwiches even faster. The pulled pork sandwich was amazing, highly recommended. Everything was good, thanks, and see you soon.

26/03/2026: Ordered through Just Eat after having dined at the restaurant a while back. Stale sandwich, dry bacon, soft and cold potatoes, runny thyme sauce... SHUT IT UP NOW!!!! The only good thing? The free Coke!!!!

26/04/2026: What really makes me angry and leads to this bad review is the lack of honesty... how is it possible to present something like this... and I appeal to the chef! Because this isn't a mistake, it's a HORROR served up with cunning and intention (the burnt part turned upside down inside what was supposed to be two sandwiches). I would never have dared to put out a dish like that.
