13/06/2025: ...das Lokal war voll und trotzdem hat alles bestens funktioniert. Speisen frisch und vor allem beim Mixed Grill sehr gutes Fleisch. Kompliment an Nicola und sein Team, natuerlich auch an den Chef Frenk.

02/11/2025: We visited this restaurant for an evening with friends, coincidentally due to a match being broadcast. After we sat down and placed our order, the waiter jokingly and unclearly informed us that a drink was required in order to remain. Such a communication, in all fairness, should be provided before customers sit down and order, not afterward, and certainly not on a slip of paper behind the television that no customer would read. Unfortunately, the evening continued in a less than pleasant manner. The restaurant manager began loudly scolding a young man, in front of everyone present, claiming, "If you don't have the money, you won't come here." This was decidedly inappropriate behavior, which created discomfort and embarrassment among the customers. When the bill came, which amounted to €54, we were asked to reach the €60 limit for the group, without even being given the option of adding bottles of water. Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory. The initial lack of transparency, combined with the rude and rigid staff management, created an unwelcoming atmosphere.

20/10/2025: If you want to entertain yourself with superb food, go to Ciccio in Fregene, everything prepared with love and skill. I enjoyed a fantastic chicken and turkey kebab, spicy and delicious... you have to try it! And they're having a party for Halloween 🎃 🥳 🎃 🥳

15/01/2026: The pizza is good; they use Petra flour. There are only young people in the place, which gives it a fresh feel. However, you have to be a little patient with these young people....🙃😅

29/09/2025: Ended up here because we were hungry and the recommended pizzerias were closed. Wish I could turn back time. Pizza dough not cooked through and through, the centre of the pizza one fat, soggy, inedible mess. Comments were ignored with an “okay” - and a day later my bowels still feel uncomfortable. Which goes to show: even Italians kan mess up pizza’s. Lesson learned: no matter how hungry you are, better drive to the next village and enjoy good food than opt for whatever this was.

14/12/2025: Friendly staff, always ready to satisfy customers' needs. I've been to several Old Wild West restaurants and I can assure you, this is the best... immaculately clean and excellent quality food with generous portions. Highly recommended for young people, families, and seniors...keep it up!

09/12/2025: I'm giving it one star because it's the only way to give it less. I ordered fries with cheddar and bacon. The bacon was very dry and burnt. The sauce tasted like anything but cheddar. The fries were already cold after a few seconds, so they were reheated.

07/02/2026: Fantastic dinner! The meat was excellent! Appetizers like ossobuco tartare and meatballs were truly delicious, but the star of the evening was the Florentine steak! Outstanding quality! Even the refined wine selection, courteous service, and fresh, homemade desserts! It was the first time at Mangiafuoco, but it certainly won't be the last! See you soon!

04/02/2026: I visited this restaurant a few nights ago, and my experience was quite disappointing. The food, for my taste, was good and well-cooked. But as we all know, quality isn't determined solely by content, but also by presentation. The wait for a table was quite long—I'd even say too long, considering there isn't even any waiting room inside. I try to empathize with the owners and employees, and I imagine the stress when there's a lot of customers. So, if I were them, I might have opted not to have two reservations, but just one, and in an intermediate time slot. This would give more importance to an activity that focuses on quality. When I asked about the wait times, I was told, "The bill arrived at the table, but if people linger to chat at the table, we can't kick them out." Well, that's only half the truth; if you decide to work two shifts, you also take on the responsibility of assertively asking to vacate the table for the next shift. There are ways to explain it, without misunderstanding. In fact, this delay led me and the others at my table to be the last ones to leave the restaurant. It was unpleasant to find ourselves chatting right after finishing our meal, and to see the tables being cleaned around us. My words, in fact, were: I imagined we'd find ourselves witnessing this scene. It's unfortunate, because it's not nice to feel like the last one in the room while the cleaning begins around you. That said, I hope the comment is taken into consideration, not as an insult, but as food for thought for improving the service. There was an air of tension, of haste... extremely unpleasant, which leads to no smiles or adequate hospitality, even from the owners and employees. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience; in fact, despite being a grill restaurant in the city, I don't think I'll return anytime soon.

06/01/2026: A restaurant in the center of Ferrara with convenient nearby parking on blue lines. You enter through a cloister next to the bust of Torquato Tasso. The atmosphere is charming, and the restaurant is informal and simple. It has a good selection of wines and off-menu items. The à la carte menu features many classics and traditional Ferrarese cuisine with authentic flavors. We'll definitely be returning to try other gourmet dishes.

05/01/2026: Peaceful atmosphere, very crowded on weekends, but a relaxed atmosphere. I was very impressed. Edit: After frequenting the place several times, I can say the people who work there are wonderful. Thank you all for your efforts in serving with a smile, for being present everywhere, and for making us feel at home. Your work makes this place truly special. Edit/2: I think it's important to point out that the karaoke room is separate from the restaurant area. You can either dine in or just enter the karaoke room (which has a separate fee), as you prefer.

03/02/2026: It's McDonald's, of course it's bad! Not even sure why there are the options for the number of stars. I mean, who goes to McDonald's for the food? Do people go there for the service? How about the atmosphere?... And it's not even cheap for the garbage food, service, and atmosphere. Go get a pizza instead of diarrhea and an ulcer!

01/02/2026: Terrible experience. We waited over half an hour for our sandwiches. After asking for clarification, the response was surreal: "Can we prepare your order?"... after a 30-minute wait! Total disorganization and zero customer service. I won't be returning.

20/09/2025: I've been here for dinner several times, most recently with a friend. We had a tasting of tartare, tomahawk, and a bottle of wine. Everything was excellent: good meat, superbly cooked, and a very good wine (a Shiraz). The girl who served us (I think she'd just turned 18) was very nice, friendly, and approachable. A place worth spending a few hours with family or friends. It's a well-kept place, and although it's "downtown," it's far from the casino and the hustle and bustle. Well done, guys. See you again.

15/08/2025: Dinner with a friend: good meat, excellent vegetables, delicious grilled peppers. We sat outside, and it was very quiet, perhaps because it was a weekday and not the weekend. But it was a truly pleasant place.

24/09/2025: What a special place... Breathtaking view... They're definitely more of a restaurant than a bar... but a plate of cured meats and cheeses and their white wine made for an excellent aperitif. Their grilled meats are a must-try. We'll be back.

20/09/2025: Spectacular sandwich, stunning views, and friendly staff who are easy to chat with. The price is more than fair despite the location. It's a perfect place to spend even a quiet half hour enjoying a good meal.
