03/06/2026: The experience was completely positive. The food was very good and worth it, the service was excellent, and the staff was very polite and helpful. There were, however, a few downsides: the price was a bit high for the amount of meat served. I also had the impression that they didn't offer all nine types of meat listed on the menu, which further undermines the price. Otherwise, the place is very beautiful, the service is excellent, the cocktails are very good and well-made, and the food is high-quality. It doesn't quite live up to the claim about quantity, although you can ask for more meat, but I would have liked to try all the varieties available. Overall, the experience was very positive. A few extra touches would have made it perfect.

03/06/2026: A terrible experience in every way. From the beginning, the service was extremely unpleasant: the waiter was rude and surly, even taking our orders without even looking us in the eye while speaking. The biggest disappointment came with the menu. It listed nine courses, but we only received six, without even the expected pineapple at the end. When we asked if the menu was complete, we were told yes, even though several courses were clearly missing. We felt cheated. As soon as I sat down, I mentioned that I have celiac disease and must strictly follow a gluten-free diet. Despite this, by the end of the evening I felt very ill, and the situation was so severe that I had to go to the emergency room. It was an experience that left me extremely worried and disappointed. Furthermore, I had booked through TheFork with the regular 20% discount. Due to the sudden feeling of uneasiness, I had to leave the restaurant quickly without being able to settle the bill immediately. The owner contacted me almost immediately, demanding payment and even threatening to report me to the Carabinieri. The following day, I personally contacted the restaurant to apologize for the incident, explain the situation, and confirm my full willingness to settle the bill. Despite this, I was asked to pay the full amount without applying the discount provided for my TheFork reservation, and, to add to the surprise, I was reported on the platform as a defaulter. Between rude service, missing dishes, a complete lack of attention to a significant dietary requirement, and the utterly unprofessional handling of the subsequent incident, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. Never again.

16/03/2026: We visited Braceria Pastore, intrigued by the reviews and images on social media, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. When booking, I had indicated that we had a celiac, but once we arrived, we discovered that gluten-free options were virtually nonexistent: no gluten-free bread or breadsticks, and very few truly suitable dishes, often contaminated with sauces. In fact, I was only able to eat a few pieces of cheese and some fries, without even a gluten-free dessert. The staff was friendly, but uninformed about gluten intolerance and unable to offer alternatives. For a dinner of two appetizers, two slices of medium-quality meat, two side dishes, and two glasses of Piedirosso, we paid €180—a decidedly excessive price for the experience. If they had told us right away that they didn't offer gluten-free options, we would have chosen another restaurant. Unfortunately, social media shows very dramatic images, but the reality was quite different.

08/03/2026: Overrated, service lacking, appetizers and sides poor and poorly cooked. Tasteless potatoes, and a selection of cheeses and meats inadequate for the price.

09/07/2026: I was already warned by reviews, but wanted to see for myself... I ordered a Tomahawk steak, medium... The food arrived after only 10 minutes... the first sign that the steak could never be cooked properly. Of course, there was only a dark layer of sear on the outside, while the inside was still so raw it looked like it would jump off the plate at any moment. I complained and sent it back for further cooking... and just 5 minutes later, the same result. Worst steakhouse ever... They have absolutely no clue about cooking levels... What a waste of money... I will never go there again. By the way, the side dishes were just as bad.

26/06/2026: There are two very distinct considerations to make after my wife's experience (it was our wedding anniversary): 1- The food: Delicious. We had the grilled fillet, tender and very good, and it deserved 4 stars. 2- The management team deserves 1 star: As soon as we arrived, they immediately seated us, as is the custom. My wife, on her way to the bathroom, noticed that the sign on the counter read "ATM out of order." The lady should have told us this when we sat down, but whatever. When deciding whether to stay or not, they invited us to withdraw money from the nearby ATM, but we asked if we could pay in francs, and that's what we agreed to do. Too bad we were supposed to pay €60, and I had a full €100 (which would be about €108) and I should have had at least €48 in change (let's round up to €45). I tried to explain this to the lady, who repeated twice, "Hey, the exchange rate is 1:1," then gave me €40 in change. Now, it's not about the €5, I don't care, but it's the bullshit that's not good at all!! Also because when I insisted and asked for an explanation, the lady said, "Hey, it's work," but what does that mean? The inconvenience was caused by the manager who had a problem (the POS didn't work), and I, as a customer, am I supposed to pay the price? It's simply not true!! With the POS, I would have paid the equivalent of €55, but instead I spent €60 with €40 in change, which ultimately comes to €65. I wonder, since the lady wanted to be "smart," how much do they earn for that 100 franc exchange? I repeat, the poor service was the restaurant's fault, and the customer (in this case, us) was forced to pay the price, and we will definitely never return.

03/05/2026: It was a beautiful day after a great bike ride, enjoying a delicious plate of hangus with arugula and parmesan cheese. Compliments to the chef and the very friendly staff... A very nice place, and I recommend it, especially because they were very accommodating with our arrival time. Well done!

25/04/2026: Finally, a pizza that satisfies you completely.!!! Excellent ingredients and expertly crafted dough. It's wonderful to arrive hungry after a morning's work and bite into a pizza that reflects all the professionalism of the people who make it. We also tried the Recco and didn't regret the ones we had in Liguria. Totally satisfied. The atmosphere is simple and casual, but the pizza is truly worth it! Stop by Jerry's and you won't regret it.

18/04/2026: I've dined at this pizzeria several times, and I must say it's always a pleasant experience. The pizzas are excellent, not to mention the fried foods and pasta frittatas made in various flavors. I highly recommend it.

11/04/2026: We've been to this pizzeria more than once... Unfortunately, it's been a bit out of place for some time now. The pizza is partly burnt and partly raw... The most unfortunate thing is the service, which is unprofessional and definitely not well-trained. We had to ask three times to see if our pizzas were ready, and only on the third, after about 35 minutes of waiting (for an answer), did they arrive. It's a shame because the pizza was delicious.

15/07/2026: Been here 3 times and the last time and it wasn't too bad apart from the ridiculously loud music and no-one in the bar area. Tonight was bad. Rude staff. Ordered a whiskey and a pint of draught beer . Got a half pint in a plastic glass and the whiskey in a plastic glass for €12. To put in perspective the kiosk down the promenade coast €10 for a beer and Whiskey with a bigger measure and in a proper glass not plastic crap and the staff are good craic.Ladies toilet had not even a seat just the ceramic bowl for ladies to sit on. They also had loads of security on for some reason !Its a pity as this place could be great but its not.

15/07/2026: Terrible place. The beer arrived in a plastic cup for €7. My husband had whiskey in a plastic cup. A week ago we drank beer and fries in a nice glass, and now they served us like we were at a campsite. I had to go get drinks from the bar. Wearing high heels, I had to bring two drinks. The service is terrible. The bartender is ignorant and doesn't want to do his job properly. There's no toilet paper in the bathrooms, only ceramic toilets. For women, this is unforgivable.

28/05/2026: My friends and I went there as tourists (there were three of us). I wanted to try Wagyu, so we chose this place. I ordered Wagyu, which was listed at 40 Euros on the menu. A single portion arrived, quite adequate (I'll include a picture). The meat was average. The worst part was realizing we'd been scammed. They claimed they brought that single portion of Wagyu for three people, but it wasn't. It was served as a single portion, not shared. Furthermore, even if they had brought it for three people, we didn't order it for three. At the exit, that single portion of Wagyu cost 80 Euros. My friend and I tried to explain the situation, but unfortunately, since we don't speak Italian, we couldn't explain properly. We explained our problem in English, but the owner was very dismissive. Because it was late and we needed to leave, we couldn't stay any longer and left. IN SHORT: This place ripped us off. If you go there, be sure to explicitly state that you will pay the price listed on the menu.

28/05/2026: Always top-notch in terms of quality and service. The atmosphere is meticulously maintained down to the smallest details. Impeccable and prompt service for every request. TOP-quality meat! Highly recommended.

08/06/2026: Spit-roasted heaven. Succulent chicken with just the right amount of crispy skin. Perfectly seasoned. Potatoes soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Truly unbeatable prices for the quality, kindness, and packaging. Mr. Vincenzo may not have won the Sanremo Festival, but he is the King of spit-roasted chicken in Salerno. Try it and believe it. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of trying everything on the menu. Well, you're spoiled for choice.

26/05/2026: We had lunch today, June 25, 2025. The chicken, rich in spices and quite salty, as if they were trying to hide the quality of the product, was disappointing. My wife only tasted it and then gave up. The side dish, French fries, was nothing to complain about. The only downside, aside from the quality, was that we asked for a sachet of ketchup, and they charged us 60 cents. Good luck!
