We were received very politely and courteously and ordered pizzas - Margherita and Diavola, freshly baked in the wood-fired oven, it was a dream!

The location is great. The menu lists different prices for the same dishes. Salt and pepper are available upon request and only for a limited time. Card payments are only accepted for amounts over €35.

L'Approdo remains my favorite when the good weather arrives. I'm lucky enough to have a house in Piombino, just a few minutes by ferry from Rio Marina. Located in the center of town, Paolo, with his professionalism and passion, always delights us with quality dishes and the catch of the day. I recommend it.

Pizzeria Gallo Divo

19/03/2026: Very picturesque place! From the outside, it doesn't look very nice, but upon entering, the atmosphere is very welcoming and unique. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the price is reasonable. The eggplant with chickpea cake and the warm focaccia are amazing. Cantucci and Vinsanto were offered at the end. Thanks, see you soon.
22/02/2026: A good pizzeria that I discovered by chance. It's a family-friendly atmosphere, with very friendly, kind, and down-to-earth staff. It's a medium-sized location with unique decor. For those who love a slightly crispy 5&5, thin-crust pizza with a very flavorful crust and well-seasoned toppings, this is the place to go. Special mention goes to the staff, who offered us biscotti and a drink of liqueurs—that's how they treat new customers. They're really good. I definitely recommend it.
