I must say that I was very happy both for the beauty of the location, for the kindness and professionalism of the staff and for the good food. My partner took other dishes that I did not photograph but super good excellent quality, while I had the pleasure of tasting this excellent "Carbopizza gourmet" given that I am very complicated in digesting dough ... super light despite having chosen a demanding seasoning! 29/05/2025: When I want to eat good meat, it's the first place that comes to mind. Informal atmosphere for those who want to spend an evening in total relaxation. Good wines too. We spent around 40 euros per person for 3 steaks, 3 side dishes, two nice glasses full of red wine, a bottle of water and a dessert. Worth a try for those who have never been there.

27/05/2025: A fantastic gastronomic experience, made even more enjoyable by the courteous service and the lovely weather on the esplanade. I started with morcilla served alongside warm, chewy chipas - a delicious and comforting introduction. Then came a beautifully roasted cut of picanha, tender and full of flavor, paired with crispy papas and a crisp green salad that added just the right balance. For dessert, I had hoped for the chocolate alfajor, but it had already run out. I opted instead for the caramelized pineapple - a refreshing and elegant way to end such a rich and satisfying meal.

13/04/2025: We really enjoyed our sunny afternoon spent at Maude last month. Lewis was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and made the wine tasting a lot of fun! The wines were great and if ever back in Wanaka I would definitely go again!

23/03/2025: Wine tasting - delicious, fun and informative experience in the most sunniest surroundings. Loved everything about it: the wines we tased, the sunny spot, and the English guy who did the tasting. Can recommend 100%. Best to make a reservation, it’s 20NZ$. We purchased 2 bottles afterwards and got one wine tasting fee deducted and will remember Maude for our next wine purchase when back in Germany.

22/05/2025: Visited the restaurant twice. Lunch: Red pasta + pizza. Dinner: Grilled chicken + white pasta, which wasn't on the menu and was made especially for us. The food was delicious. The staff were very respectful.

Dinner at the Capannina: perfect service, professional and extremely kind staff, beautiful and delicious dishes, unique and unrepeatable environment, treatment like a lord. A special applause to Adriano, who promptly took care of our requests and made sure that our dinner was perfect in every way. We will definitely return to this place which is a green oasis maniacally cared for.
