27/07/2025: It's been a while since I've been back, but it's confirmed to be a go-to place for anyone who loves meat and good food. Kudos to the team! Super friendly and punctual... people who convey their passion for their work, while also knowing how to have fun and make the customer feel at ease. The ribs were amazing! I also had the chance to try an excellent Ripasso. See you next time!

Proposta gastronomica con vasto assortimento di antipasti, pizze, primi, secondi ed eccellente carta di carni e carpacci. Buona carta vini. Ottima la qualità, servizio pronto e cortese. 02/07/2025: Locale carino, personale di sala e proprietari molto gentili ed accoglienti. Abbiamo iniziato la cena con degli ottimi arrosticini di falda, mentre gli arrosticini di picanha sono risultati più duretti. Buone le pizze con varie farciture, ed ottimo il ciccio. Il ristorante offre la possibilità di assaggiare vari tipi di carni, buone. Ottimo anche il carpaccio misto di carni. Questo locale è un'ottima soluzione per chi vuole mangiare pizza o carne. Complimenti ai proprietari ed alla signorina Martina che ci ha veramente trattato come dei familiari. Prezzi ottimi, materie prime anche.

22/07/2025: After landing on the paragliding, I suddenly had lunch at the recommendation of the paragliding staff to get my mind back. The meat was thick and delicious. The black salt was so savory. I bought black salt because I thought of Milan, but it didn't taste that good ㅠ The staff were not sales friendly, but genuinely friendly.

13/04/2025: We really enjoyed our sunny afternoon spent at Maude last month. Lewis was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and made the wine tasting a lot of fun! The wines were great and if ever back in Wanaka I would definitely go again!

23/03/2025: Wine tasting - delicious, fun and informative experience in the most sunniest surroundings. Loved everything about it: the wines we tased, the sunny spot, and the English guy who did the tasting. Can recommend 100%. Best to make a reservation, it’s 20NZ$. We purchased 2 bottles afterwards and got one wine tasting fee deducted and will remember Maude for our next wine purchase when back in Germany.

25/07/2025: Excellent dinner, excellent quality ingredients. The waitresses were friendly. The atmosphere was lovely and especially cool in the summer. The dishes are excellent, making us want to return to try even the things we missed. The wild boar was sublime, both in the first course (tagliatelle) and the second course (especially the grilled wild boar). The desserts were delicious. Reasonable price, around €50.

21/07/2025: The three of us ate at Il Castagno Nichi. My wife had the roast chicken, an appetizer, and mixed vegetables. My daughter had the beef steak. It was all delicious, and my daughter would love to go back tomorrow! ONLY: I had the rabbit goulash. THAT consisted almost entirely of bones and bone fragments! I don't know if the chef ran over the rabbit at 100 km/h? In any case, it was the most horrible goulash I've ever eaten in my entire life. Nowhere else in the world have I ever had goulash with BONES and BONE SPLITS!!! Sorry, you have my email address and my cell phone number: Think of something! We'll be in the area until July 23, 2025. THAT WAS NOTHING!

10/08/2025: We stayed at the property from August 4th to 8th and had a wonderful time. The location is enchanting, surrounded by nature and with a panoramic view of the city. Everything was very well-kept and clean, the breakfast was good, and the restaurant's food was excellent.

We went for the midsummer Casoncellata evening, where we enjoyed excellent casoncelli in four different variations and an antipasto with amazing cured meats. My compliments to the entire staff for their excellent service and friendliness. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended.

14/07/2025: We frequent the restaurant and inn periodically for leisure and health reasons, given the exceptional hospital in Negrar, but as soon as I enter the room I've booked or the restaurant, even my worst worries vanish. The rooms are impeccably clean, with daily service and everything is always there! The rooms are tastefully and practically furnished! Nothing is missing! I even spend entire weeks there and never have any space or organization issues! The restaurant's ambience is elegantly understated! The spaces are carefully and intelligently organized... I love the open grill! Not only can I see the delicacies I'm about to savor being prepared live, but I can also watch them cook in a large, spacious, tastefully and expertly constructed fireplace! Each dish is crafted with mastery and expert hands, with flavors always perfectly combined and balanced like few others: after all, if you combine excellent quality ingredients with professionalism, you can only create exceptional dishes! The atmosphere, however, is what makes everything even more beautiful and appreciated: an impeccable family-run business supported by competent, always welcoming and smiling staff! I'm demanding, but I'm always satisfied with attention and availability! There's a sense of serenity and professionalism, without unnecessary formality or conventionality! The desserts offered are often skillful transformations of traditional bases into modern twists, and tasting them offers a truly intense sensory experience! What can I say: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Alla Porchetta a San Peretto: A Real Guarantee!

02/08/2025: Very good, amazingly good meat. The potatoes were a little bland, but overall, a super positive experience. The meat was very good, tender and juicy, a little heavy towards the last bites, but good. Exquisite dessert; we had the Argentine flan. The drink, Oblivion, was good.
