02/06/2026: I just left this unique and fantastic restaurant. Let's start by saying that the place is incredibly original, yet elegant and refined, and for me, who am approaching 60, it's full of wonderful objects that bring back fond childhood memories. Everything is meticulously curated, down to the smallest details, with rooms for every type of event, from an intimate dinner to vibrant spaces for celebrating any occasion. The owner, who I believe is in his 80s, welcomes you with extreme kindness, but the great thing is that he seems to be in his forties because he doesn't look his age at all. Now I want to give a special mention to the food. Today we celebrated my daughter Alessandra's birthday and my father-in-law Aurelio's, all of which focused on seafood. I can tell you that we ate wonderfully; the food was fresh, refined, and above all, abundant. From the appetizers to the main courses, they truly made us feel at home. Compliments to the chefs. Special mention goes to the dining room staff, especially Andrea, who truly made us feel at home. His overwhelming kindness made both birthdays special because he served and pampered us as if we were old friends. Extremely friendly and, above all, attentive to our every need. Andrea truly made a difference today because, in addition to his great kindness, he also gave us his great professionalism. Compliments to the restaurant, the owner, and the exceptional food, and a huge round of applause to waiter Andrea, who truly makes customers feel at home. Heartfelt compliments. Highly recommended. 24/05/2026: We went to the inn yesterday, recommended by locals. What can I say: fantastic hospitality, qualified staff, and excellent food. The owner and staff are truly wonderful people. I would gladly return after all the wonderful dishes we tasted, all at a great price.

07/06/2026: Super local food. Friendly and informal service. Small but very charming place, full of curious objects. We ordered a platter and two first courses accompanied by water and a glass of wine, followed by two desserts. Everything was good and tasty for a total of just over €50. I highly recommend it. A little tricky to get to if you're coming from the surrounding villages, but it's definitely worth it.

24/12/2025: A lovely, welcoming place with very friendly owners. The food is excellent and high-quality. Classic cuisine, along with some very unique dishes. The excellent meat selection is cooked on an open grill. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a dinner with friends. Definitely worth a try.

03/05/2026: I return here few times per year. Seems that the meat quality dropped but only slightly (or the kitchen was on a bad day). But if you are looking for the best combo of show and food. This is the place to try - at least once while in town.

03/06/2026: I'd been there several years ago, so I didn't have a clear memory of it. I wasn't thrilled. The food and quality were average, the portions were precise, and the wait was honestly long. The view and air quality were very nice.

26/05/2026: Great food. Marvelous view worth going in the evening for dinner. Many gluten free options (not sure about gluten free pizza). Had gluten free tortelli which are a rare find! Delicious!

07/06/2026: On the second evening of our week-long trip to Palermo, we were approached about eating at this restaurant. And it was an absolute stroke of luck. The food was so fantastic that we ended up coming back every single night. Everything we tried was incredibly delicious. We even always got table number 15 with the sunshade, and my wife even got smaller portions. If we ever come back to Palermo, we would definitely eat here again.

But then again, we're so fed up with trendy phenomena, pseudo-trendy formats that don't even know how to make pasta, empty chains full of marketing but empty of food, that finally a "normal" restaurant still exists. Very good staff, well-kept place. Nothing is missing. Well-made meat. Special mention for CLEANLINESS (another sore point of fake "contemporary scam" restaurants).

25/03/2026: We visited this steakhouse on the recommendation of a local friend and it was a delightful discovery. The restaurant is well-kept and beautifully decorated. There's a wide selection of meats and cooking methods. The quality is as high as the selection. The service deserves special mention; the staff is knowledgeable and extremely available to provide any clarification needed. Congratulations. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

07/06/2026: I frequent this restaurant practically every week and continue to return because the quality of the food is unquestionable. The ingredients are excellent, the dishes are well-prepared, and the staff is always courteous, helpful, and professional. Precisely because I consider this restaurant a benchmark, I feel compelled to highlight a critical issue that unfortunately continues to recur despite having been reported several times: service times are often excessively long, and errors occur with orders. Today, for example, we ordered a pizza for an almost 4-year-old girl at 12:40. The pizza arrived after a wait of over 30 minutes, when the girl was already complaining about hunger. The French fries, which were supposed to accompany the pizza, arrived even later, after almost 40 minutes, and were also the wrong ones: they were served dippers, which the girl doesn't like. My order was also incorrect: I had requested an appetizer of perch and pickled vegetables, but I received a risotto with perch. I reiterate that the quality of the food and the kindness of the staff deserve a positive review, but I believe the service organization and order management needs to be improved. It would be a shame if a restaurant with so much potential continued to be penalized by problems that now seem to have become a constant.

06/06/2026: As a Pugliese, my compliments to the chef and all the staff at La Taveretta. We ate very well at lunch, and they accommodated our every request. Prices were normal, indeed exceptional. The waiter was friendly and polite. If we were to come to Trapani again, we would definitely return to try the pizza, which looked delicious.
