11/06/2026: We happened upon it for dinner. Cute place, attentive and friendly service. We had beccafico sardines and fish caponata: delicious. But the highlight was the sweet and sour tuna with onion. A truly wonderful combination. Delicious! Thanks

Before you write anything about restaurants that do a good job, make sure it's the truth and not the comment of a frustrated person.

08/06/2026: I went to Syrah because the supermarket cashier recommended it to me, since we were on vacation, and I can't thank her enough! It was a wonderful discovery. As soon as we walked in, we immediately felt at ease: the place is welcoming, well-kept, and spotlessly clean, with a truly pleasant atmosphere. The staff was incredibly kind and always smiling, making us feel welcome from start to finish. But the real surprise was the food: the sardine tart and the squid ink medallion were simply exceptional, the baked potatoes were truly exquisite, and the couscous with scorpion fish was simply marvelous. When you find a place that combines excellent food, courtesy, and such a pleasant atmosphere, you can't help but leave happy. We'll definitely be back and will recommend it to anyone vacationing in San Vito. Congratulations to all the staff! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

06/06/2026: Hi. We're two women from Bolzano. We spent a week on vacation in San Vito and twice at Syrah! Beautiful restaurant with a stunning atmosphere. Inside, there's a dining room and a garden, and outside on Via Savoi there's more seating! Excellent dinner. Look at the photos, and also the excellent wine list, etc. Very kind staff!! 23/04/2026: We had a wonderful and reasonably priced meal here. Attentive, fast and friendly service, indoor tables beautifully set with tablecloths in a nice quiet environment. Above all, delicious food and wine.

10/04/2026: Great food as everyone here says. We sat outdoors in a quiet corner just off the street next to the church. Benvenuto tasting pieces before the meal. We had the lamb cutlets and pork shin for lunch. All perfecto!

02/06/2026: Catanian comfort food, but with style Buatta is one of those discoveries that makes you want to return immediately. Located in the heart of Catania, on one of the most beautiful streets in the historic center, the restaurant successfully combines atmosphere, cuisine, and character. The outdoor seating is elegant and relaxed, with rattan chairs, umbrellas, and a street view that lets you fully enjoy the baroque center. Perfect for a leisurely lunch or a long aperitivo. We found a rich and generous pasta with eggplant ragù, with those deep Sicilian flavors you expect—and that aren't always found. But the real surprise was the cungatizzo—crispy focaccias topped with prosciutto, figs, walnuts, and mint—a bold and delicious combination. It's no coincidence that their motto is "Cungatizzo is better than pizza": it's hard to argue with that. To finish, an ice-cold Spritz as the afternoon passed by. What more could you ask for? Fair prices, friendly service, a clear identity. Buatta knows exactly what it wants to be—and it succeeds.

03/06/2026: We had a delicious meal here yesterday. We were looking for pasta alla Norma, as is our custom, and stumbled upon this place. Pippo gave us a very warm welcome. We enjoyed our food and drinks, and the pasta was absolutely incredible. The eggplant on top was soooooo tasty, and everything else was just as good. The atmosphere was lovely and so typically Italian. Pippo was also very friendly and gave us a warm send-off. Thank you for the wonderful experience! 🌞

14/05/2026: This is my husband and I's second evening at this delightful restaurant. I can confirm the positive experience we had last night. FRESH FISH!! An excellent first course: Busiate alla trapanese, which my husband ordered "complete": with the addition of potatoes and fried eggplant. I should emphasize that even the potatoes were fresh, not frozen! Second course: Catch of the day: I chose the red mullet cooked alla trapanese: baked with cherry tomatoes, capers, and olives, a delight. My husband had mussel soup. Simply delicious. All generous portions. Water, coffee €67. A price we haven't found anywhere else serving fish in Trapani. PS: A small, much appreciated touch: coffee accompanied by an amaretto. Thank you, chef!

08/06/2026: Sunday, June 7, 2026, an exceptional group of blues talents, including a superb guitarist, Umberto Porcaro, accompanied by musicians and non-musicians, and an Australian double bass player, a talent of madness and technique. The initial trio transforms into a quintet, but everything remains of the highest quality. Fender and Gibson speak with their different accents, yet are perfectly compatible thanks to the mastery and talent of those who make them speak. Federico, measured drums, brilliantly delivered, great technique and study exude from those sticks. Last but not least, Claudio, a superb keyboard, perfect in timing and melody, an absolute pleasure for those lucky enough to hear, not just listen, tonight. What can I say? A great event. We're so lucky to be here. P.S. I sincerely thank Nuccio, Rita, Bea, Isidoro, and all the staff for their kindness, professionalism, and all the emotions they give us! PIPPO FALCONE
