06/05/2026: La Stiva has been our favorite restaurant for many years. Excellent, fresh, and plentiful food, with a friendly yet professional atmosphere. We were there yesterday and had a wonderful meal: special mention for the seafood risotto. The panoramic view is beautiful and the price-quality ratio is excellent. You couldn't ask for more!

13/07/2026: A truly fantastic find on Via Santa Cecilia. I ordered several specialties and was amazed by the quality of everything I ate.
The pasta with eggplant and sauce was delicious, served with a generous sprinkling of cheese that made it even more flavorful. The fried foods were also perfectly prepared, crispy on the outside and perfectly piping hot. I'll definitely be back soon to try other items from their counter.
22/06/2026: The owner made an effort to communicate in English, which was really nice. He offered us samples while we waited for our order. The quality was very good, and it was quite busy at lunchtime. I definitely recommend it.

03/07/2026: The bar opens till late, but we went there for breakfast. It has a wide range of pastries and biscotti to offer, and of course you can find granita and brioche, gelato,- and savoury items. Their Sicilian mandorla(almond) biscotti are superb (and so we took home two boxes;))

We had breakfast here and were quite happy with it.
Creamy granitas and soft brioches. The hot food is good, the atmosphere is spacious, but
the service could be improved.
Since it's right in the center, it's a bit difficult to find parking.

12/07/2026: Beautiful views with amazing fish freshly caught in the morning. If you want to watch one of the most breathtaking sunsets while getting your fish eating reload this is the perfect spot. The owners goes above and beyond to make sure the fish selection and freshness is top notch.
P.S. If you complain about the octopus being frozen you don’t understand, octopus in order to be more tender it needs to be frozen so the proteins get more tender.

02/06/2026: A well-kept and pleasant location, with friendly and attentive staff. We ate very well, including two adults and a child. A high chair and a colorful plastic cup were available for her. A changing table is available in the bathroom, and diapers and sanitary pads are available for guests, a thoughtful touch that demonstrates the desire to make guests feel at home. Highly recommended.
02/06/2026: A refined menu with sophisticated dishes in an ideal setting for a tête à tête. Delicious squid ink arancini and delicious tuna tartare.
The somewhat modest prices are justified by the high level of cuisine and expert service.

09/06/2026: We dined at this restaurant a few nights ago when we visited Modica. We were pleasantly surprised by the fact that the menu isn't the usual run-of-the-mill fare, with Mazara red shrimp and fish taking center stage.
It's a selection of dishes that grandma makes, like the pasta with tinnirumi, which was excellent, and the rabbit alla stimpirata, which I'd never tried (the mint balanced the other flavors well). The almond jelly was highly recommended.
When paying, we noticed that they sell the ingredients used in the dishes, such as Cosaruciara beans and Modica broad beans, which we were happy to purchase.

The menu is touristy, but the quality is guaranteed.

16/08/2026: The pizza isn't bad, and the outdoor seating is excellent, thanks in part to the lack of traffic. I only noticed a little bit of burning on the edges, but the flavor is good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The wait times were normal, despite it being the height of summer. We paid €17.50 each for pizza, fries, drinks, and a cover charge (for a table of seven). It seemed a bit high, but not by much; I've paid the same amount in Taormina or Turin, but I understand that the price increases have spread here too, so I don't blame them too much. That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy my stay.
14/08/2026: I celebrated my birthday by having lunch at this beautiful restaurant; it was an absolutely fantastic experience, with a welcoming atmosphere and absolutely fresh, delicious seafood. I'd especially like to highlight the extremely kind and impeccable service provided by the restaurant staff, especially Daniela, who truly made me feel at home. Definitely worth a try.

The quality of the fish and the care in preparation are worthy of a great chef.
