27/07/2026: We discovered this gem as soon as we arrived in Alcamo. We had all our savory breakfasts there and even our lunches for the beach. Their sandwiches are delicious and their ice cream is excellent. The staff is very professional and incredibly friendly. Thank you! 😍😍😍

It has plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas, and clean restrooms, always stocked with toilet paper and soap—a rarity in Palermo. Ciccio is kind, welcoming, and friendly. The sandwiches are excellent, and the clientele is friendly and respectful.

14/08/2026: We visited this restaurant this evening and unfortunately left very disappointed. The staff were quite rude and unwelcoming, which made the experience even worse. The food was very poor and lacked taste. Almost everything tasted strongly of butter, which overpowered the dishes. I ordered the pesce spada, which came with only four small halves of potatoes far too little for a main course. What was also disappointing was the service timing. There wasn’t even a proper break between the antipasti and the main course, so the meal felt rushed. Overall, a very disappointing experience. We expected much better and unfortunately would not recommend this restaurant.

He advised us on our choices, making us feel immediately at ease. Being celiac, it's essential for me to find knowledgeable and competent staff. Pietro was able to confidently point out the gluten-free options and advise me on what to order, demonstrating great knowledge and attention to dietary requirements. Impeccable service, always courteous and with a smile. Kudos to Pietro for his excellent work! Highly recommended.

25/06/2026: I politely asked for a replacement because it contained several pistachio shells and, if possible, for a pistachio-free version. To my surprise, they brought back the same dish, simply transferred it to another container, as if the problem didn't exist. This was unprofessional behavior and a decidedly arrogant attitude, which made the experience very disappointing.

23/06/2026: I wanted to try stigghiole the day before at the Ballarò market, but I found them here before leaving Palermo. I'm glad I ate theirs, as well as panelle and crocchè, caponata, and fried eggplant. All at a very fair price.

The brioche con gelato was excellent, and the lemon ice cream was absolutely delicious, among the best we've tasted in Agrigento. A minor drawback was the service: the waitress was a bit cold that day, which prevented us from giving it a perfect score. But as for the gelato, no complaints whatsoever.

21/07/2026: We, a family with two children, cannot understand the hype and the many positive reviews of this restaurant. We ordered several thin flatbreads, two with Nutella for the children and others with mozzarella and tomatoes, a small appetizer platter with some grilled vegetables, mozzarella, and tomatoes, and four soft drinks. For this, we paid around €70. Compared to our recent experiences in the area, it was a complete flop. By Sicilian standards, neither the quality, taste, nor portion size justified the price. The value for money is simply poor. The staff were friendly and spoke English. However, this doesn't change the fact that the food, portions, and price were completely disproportionate. We left disappointed and cannot understand the positive reviews.

26/07/2026: This seaside restaurant has a lovely white decor and a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered seafood pasta and pasta with eggplant. The flavors were a bit on the salty side, but the seafood pasta was delicious, with plenty of small octopus pieces in the broth at the end! The portions were also generous. Definitely worth a visit! 👍

11/08/2026: A quick stop at this bar up on the hill with a beautiful view of Tormine and the little square of Castellmola. The waitress was very friendly and pleasant. We ordered granitas and they were absolutely amazing. Special mention for the peach granita – a real treat!

I can happily confirm that every compliment was absolutely deserved. Even though it was already past 2:30 PM, the place was still packed with customers, and the comings and goings showed no signs of slowing down: a clear sign of this place's popularity. The staff immediately proved efficient, professional, and extremely courteous, making me feel welcomed despite the rush hour. I opted for a full lunch and was thrilled: the quality of the ingredients is unquestionable, and the preparation of the dishes is excellent, further enhanced by the meticulously designed table setting. Topping it all off was the owner's exquisite kindness, who, with a thoughtful gesture, offered me two coffees at the end of the meal. It's precisely this care for the guest that distinguishes a true restaurateur. An impeccable experience that I highly recommend!
