02/08/2026: Best raw seafood, best host - this place was recommended by several people on my tour and the experience was more than great. The host Salvatore had the experience in restaurant business all over the world - from England to Australia - and it is shown in this very special place. Highly recommended!

26/07/2026: Girlfriend got unwell in front, he took us in for the airco, gave her a chair and elevated her legs then gave her an apple juice for her blood pressure. When we wanted to pay he would not take payment because he did it out of kindness to help someone. Very kind people and a beautiful restaurant!

07/08/2026: We had a great time; we had a starter and main course. They offer both meat and fish dishes. The food is excellent. Prices are average. The location is convenient for getting to from the city center. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I recommend stopping by!

05/08/2026: Everything was incredible. From the service, with very friendly waiters who offered helpful recommendations, to the food itself, everything was exquisite! We chose spaghetti carbonara, mussel soup, and rigatoni alla norma. We also had white wine and Messina beer. Everything was perfect, and very reasonably priced.

11/06/2026: If you get the table at the back you get a great Seaview. The food was incredible. Three very tasty dishes not including the tuna sashimi which hit the mark. All in all a great experience

10/06/2026: The window seat I requested is absolutely stunning but unfortunately the air con blows so hard we had to move to the table on the street - if you do not mind ice cold air blowing in your eyes, you will have the best sunset view of your life there! The staff were attentive to us and while initially it was not possible to move to a less arctic table, the main boss made it possible. We were served promptly until it came to the final bill - in the end we needed to get up to pay despite the restaurant not being busy at all (Monday evening). Now on to the food - absolutely spectacular. The mackerel special was insane. It is not cheap but the quality and flavour is fantastic.

04/07/2026: A great alternative to the usual bars, this place is "not too much, not too little," with quality live music, proper cocktails, and reasonable prices. Recommended!!!

20/04/2026: sad to say, but by far our worst meal here. Fish was cold and not good, even the stray cats didn’t want to eat the leftovers. Fried artichoke was cold and inedible, impossible to eat. The owners kids ran around kicking a soccer ball in and out of the restaurant the whole time and threw these spark things on the ground that made loud bangs. We didn’t have silverware or napkins and kept having to ask for basic things like that or grab them from neighboring tables. Very overpriced too. The staff is nice but would pass on the food sadly. :(

02/05/2026: The best restaurant in Taormina, with exceptionally friendly service, a homey atmosphere, delicious food, and fresh fish—not so easy to find on this island. We're going back tomorrow. Plus, the view of Mount Etna—wonderful! I hope there are more places like this!

The sandwiches are truly delicious, with perfectly crispy bread and a variety of delicious fillings, from classics to more sophisticated flavors. The portions are generous, the ingredients are excellent, and the service is always fast and friendly, making it ideal for a casual aperitivo with friends. Highly recommended!

10/07/2026: Exceptional venue, equally as good service. The owners are wonderful, as are all the staff, especially Totino. Relaxation is guaranteed, enjoying your beer/cocktail at the "Tychè" bar overlooking the sea with wonderful sunsets.

The location is stunning, meticulously designed, and perfect for making such an important day special. The lunch was excellent: delicious dishes, beautifully presented, and prepared with quality ingredients. The staff was professional, kind, and always available, making us feel welcomed and pampered throughout the day. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for helping make our daughter's baptism a wonderful memory. We also received so many compliments from our guests. 05/06/2026: Far from the tourist crowds, Pepe Nero offers truly traditional cuisine, serving up recipes passed down from grandmothers to grandmothers. Here, they know that home cooking relies on simple, high-quality ingredients. Slow food at its finest! They stand by their choices, both in their suppliers (the fishermen of the bay) and in their pursuit of flavor. They champion pasta with anchovies rather than sardines, and they explain why. For caponata, they readily share the secret to perfectly balanced celery flavor. The welcome is just like the food: friendly and discerning. A little restaurant well worth the detour!
