23/05/2026: The setting and food were lovely, and the owner was very accommodating for a non-seafood eater given the menu is small and mostly fish. It is expensive and we had some confusion over the price of the catch of the day, but they were very understanding and resolved it for us. The homemade bread and olive oil was also the best we had in Sicily! Would recommend

11/06/2026: If you get the table at the back you get a great Seaview. The food was incredible. Three very tasty dishes not including the tuna sashimi which hit the mark. All in all a great experience
10/06/2026: The window seat I requested is absolutely stunning but unfortunately the air con blows so hard we had to move to the table on the street - if you do not mind ice cold air blowing in your eyes, you will have the best sunset view of your life there! The staff were attentive to us and while initially it was not possible to move to a less arctic table, the main boss made it possible. We were served promptly until it came to the final bill - in the end we needed to get up to pay despite the restaurant not being busy at all (Monday evening). Now on to the food - absolutely spectacular. The mackerel special was insane. It is not cheap but the quality and flavour is fantastic.

12/05/2026: An excellent restaurant. We ate wonderfully, with plenty of seafood and expertly prepared traditional Sicilian dishes. The place is beautiful, the service is very fast (the waiter is also very friendly), and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Highly recommended!

06/05/2026: Their clam chowder was incredibly delicious; the bread dipped in the broth was absolutely amazing. This soup is divine. The clam pasta was also very good, not too salty. The portions are all very generous. The steak was just okay; half of what I got was tendon, and I couldn't cut it.
The service was excellent and very friendly.

30/10/2025: Excellent experience. I came about a week ago, a real discovery! The fish was incredibly fresh and tasty, every dish, from the appetizer to the grilled meat, was delicious. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and professional, making us feel at ease. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, except that it felt more like a bar than a restaurant. Excellent value and a place we'll definitely return to.
28/10/2025: The food wasn't bad, but it also wasn't anything especially impressive, for the price of 48€ for the main dish for two people. I've given the waiter 50€ and never got my change back - it wasn't meant to be a tip since it's already factored in the price.
The person serving us understood our native language but pretended otherwise, communication was pretty difficult overall.
There are no printed menus, just a QR code on the tables.
The view from the restaurant is pretty, but the surroundings are trash-filled streets that do not look good at all.
In summary, a decent meal that was quite overpriced. We only decided to eat there as this place was opened during siesta, we were the only customers there.

02/06/2026: A well-kept and pleasant location, with friendly and attentive staff. We ate very well, including two adults and a child. A high chair and a colorful plastic cup were available for her. A changing table is available in the bathroom, and diapers and sanitary pads are available for guests, a thoughtful touch that demonstrates the desire to make guests feel at home. Highly recommended.
02/06/2026: A refined menu with sophisticated dishes in an ideal setting for a tête à tête. Delicious squid ink arancini and delicious tuna tartare.
The somewhat modest prices are justified by the high level of cuisine and expert service.

30/04/2026: Amazing dinner. We had the fish couscous for two, the restaurant’s signature dish, and it was one of the best meals I’ve had so far in Sicily. The chef really knows his craft, and the owner serves the food with genuine love and pride. Absolutely worth ordering.

03/06/2026: Everything was perfect. The only problem was the placement of the air conditioning units, which didn't allow for proper ventilation in the room. It was a bit hot at the end of the evening. Otherwise, Mr. Giuffrida was very attentive and managed to arrange the guests so that the air conditioning could be turned on. The staff was very professional. The food was excellent, using excellent ingredients, and kudos to the chef. Everything was delicious. Definitely worth returning.

The menu is touristy, but the quality is guaranteed.
09/06/2026: We dined at this restaurant a few nights ago when we visited Modica. We were pleasantly surprised by the fact that the menu isn't the usual run-of-the-mill fare, with Mazara red shrimp and fish taking center stage.
It's a selection of dishes that grandma makes, like the pasta with tinnirumi, which was excellent, and the rabbit alla stimpirata, which I'd never tried (the mint balanced the other flavors well). The almond jelly was highly recommended.
When paying, we noticed that they sell the ingredients used in the dishes, such as Cosaruciara beans and Modica broad beans, which we were happy to purchase.
