The waiter was super friendly, the food was exceptional, and they've changed the restaurant's decor, which is much more elegant! Don't bother queuing for another restaurant further away, because this one is better :)

After several days in Taormina, we ate at four restaurants, and this was by far the best I've had, along with Mama Rosa's restaurant. We had a fantastic evening! The pistachio and guanciale pasta was exceptional! Don't bother going to Don Nino's tavern a little further down; it's not quite as good as here at La Grotta Azzura. Thank you so much to the whole team at La Grotta Azzura!!

Our favourite hidden gem! This is second time here and it never disappoints. Highly recommend the Sword Fish Messina Style and Carbonara! Great flavours, attentive and friendly staff and good food!

Sublime food and excellent, friendly service. Lovely location, down a side street. You must try the Tiramisu! Don't waste your time waiting in line for Osteria Rita, come around the corner to here. You won't regret it!

Very friendly staff. You could tell the chef prepared his dishes with great care and attention. He was also happy to accommodate special requests. I would definitely come back... I highly recommend it.
