Sabadi In Modica

A lovely place! We signed up for the guided tour and it was fantastic; young and old alike loved it, especially the chocolate tasting ;). The young woman speaks excellent French. I highly recommend it!

The goodness of the chocolate is directly proportional to the antipathy of the girl who sells it.

Mission impossible? Not for Valentina and Sabadì. I've never loved Modica chocolate, but some dear friends and I went to visit Sabadì. Forget a typical shop.

Sabadì is Modica's most famous and premium handmade chocolate brand, having won the Italian Chocolate Gold Medal (Tavoletta d'Oro) for many years, and its products are renowned worldwide. Sabadì perfectly preserves Modica's traditional low-temperature cold processing technique, preventing the sugar crystals in the cocoa powder from melting, resulting in a crisp, granular texture that is truly distinctive. Sabadì products use only organic cocoa beans and raw materials, without any added chemical flavorings, vegetable oils, or dairy products. They are flavored only with cinnamon, chili, or vanilla, resulting in an exceptionally rich cocoa flavor. Sabadì sells authentic Modica chocolates. Although the prices are somewhat high, the quality is superb, making them absolutely worth the money.

Good chocolate but not very friendly sales assistant

Every year, when we come from Germany and are in Modica, we go to Sabati. The chocolate is absolutely delicious. The staff is very kind, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. If I could give them more stars, I would. See you in September! 😘

I'm a dark chocolate lover and was curious to try something special. I'd read about this excellent product and dived in. I probably came at the wrong time...the chocolate is excellent (deserves 5 stars), but the sales assistants are a little less so. One in particular...I could have bought the world, I left with a bar.
