12/10/2025: TUSCANY Perfect lunch with authentic Tuscan flavors and warmth: traditional bruschetta with chicken livers and phenomenal polenta with mushrooms. Very tasty first courses, tordelli with truffles and pappardella with wild boar. To finish, a truly exquisite Fiorentina steak.

11/10/2025: We had a great experience at this restaurant on our first visit to Florence 10 years ago. We decided to return, which was a terrible idea. It was 8:15 PM and we didn't have a reservation, but the customer service representative told us we'd have to wait about 30 minutes for a table. We agreed, as we really wanted to repeat the experience we'd had in the past. We went for a walk and returned after 20 minutes. We waited the agreed-upon time and asked again about the table. This time, we were told we'd have to wait another 10 minutes. That was fine. We sat in the chairs right in front of the restaurant, waiting to be called. To our surprise, several people who also didn't have a reservation arrived at the restaurant and were quickly welcomed and seated, including a group of about 10 people. There were three of us, and we really didn't understand why we weren't called. Until, after an hour of waiting and seeing another group of four people without a reservation easily get a table, we lost our patience and went to the man serving customers. He simply said he hadn't called us because he hadn't seen us, even though we'd been sitting at the front of the restaurant for over 40 minutes! And he even had the audacity to offer us the worst table in the restaurant for dinner. Even tired and with headphones on, we found what happened incredibly disrespectful and decided to look for another restaurant in Florence. Terrible service! It was a shame, because this negative experience simply ruined the good memories we had of this restaurant. Never to return!

26/10/2025: Fantastic place located in a picturesque spot on the steps of Taormina, two minutes from the Greek Theater. Impeccable service and food, truly excellent and attentive staff. Coming to La Tavernetta is a culinary experience not to be missed. Thanks to Salvatore for a wonderful, unforgettable evening.

15/10/2025: This seemingly uninspiring place actually boasts excellent service and ingredients. The food is truly exquisitely prepared. The linguine with fresh anchovies and fried fish are truly delicious. The wine list is excellent. I recommend it to everyone.

08/10/2025: We're back, yes, we're back because the food here is truly good... Fish. What can I say? Try it and then we'll talk again. I won't go into detail. Everything is good, in fact, excellent. Excellent service, reasonable prices for the quality of the cooking and service. The location isn't on the sea, but the smell of the salt, the breeze... Especially from your seafood menu... And if a Pisan tells you so... Believe it!

13/10/2025: As soon as we sat down at the table, the power went out, but the owner handled the situation quite well. We ordered two starters: pappardelle with wild boar and picci with white ragù, both good and plentiful. Then, after just the right amount of time, the tagliata and fillet arrived (delicious). With two glasses of Chianti, we spent less than €40 each. The place is small, but the food is good and the service is fast. We recommend it.

11/10/2025: The service, the food, and the ambiance are excellent. The portions are a bit small, so if you're really hungry, we recommend an appetizer. We felt very comfortable.

05/10/2025: We had dinner with friends in a modern, clean, and elegant restaurant. We ordered a tasting of both raw and cooked appetizers, followed by two first courses: cavatelli with chicory and clams, and ravioli with scampi and truffle. Everything was excellent and very fresh. The wine cellar is excellent, and they recommended a delicious local white wine. Highly recommended.

29/09/2025: Ignore the bad reviews I've seen from fussy negative people. I find it hilarious that this place has been accused of being racist and someone said "be careful if you're asian" when the extremely friendly and down to earth barman working while I was here is literally Japanese and has worked here for many years.... Actually feels like a pub. Not usually what I look for outside England, especially as most British/Irish type pubs feel overly fake and touristy when abroad. If you want a posh bar and not a realistic pub vibe this isn't for you. If you are friendly and down to earth and willing to make conversation instead of being a socially inept brain dead modern tourist then you will be greeted with kindness.

29/09/2025: Genuine, lovely bartender. Worked here for years, from japan, spoke english so well as lived in England back in the day. Down to earth, if you're giving the good vibes, they will give it back. One of the locals heard me talking about my mosquito bites, he runs out to his car and get his repellent for me. Don't listen to the bad reviews, probably tourists that don't understand how to conduct themselves in different places. Great Irish pub, real pub atmosphere. Will come back :)

Delicious dishes, unparalleled knowledge of ingredients, impeccable service, a delightful atmosphere, award-winning maître d' Enrico, incredibly friendly and charming, and a team of top-notch chefs. If you want to indulge and reward yourself while forgetting your everyday worries, then you've found the right place...

21/09/2025: Very nice and quiet place. The dishes are well-prepared and have excellent flavors. The wine selection is excellent. They also cater well for celiacs. The customer service is excellent. I recommend them.

29/08/2025: Let's start on the positive note because there will be a list of negatives later. I went with a friend and my dog. The location was nice and very quiet, but otherwise it was squalid. We asked if there was room for two and a dog. I should start by saying that I have an English pointer who doesn't even know what meanness is. He's been properly trained, and every time we eat, he sits close to my leg and doesn't move. They told us that they have two tables off to the side for dogs, away from the others, and that if they wanted to eat there, the dog had to stay still under the table. Being good and well-behaved, he sat there the whole time. Next to him, there was a rusty iron grate that protruded because it wasn't secured properly. Not to mention that there was a dog, but even a normal person could easily have touched it with their leg and hurt themselves. The food was edible, but it arrived cold and in meager portions. Two plates of pasta with sausage and a water cost €33. We'll never go back! I strongly advise against it, especially not at all polite and kind

26/08/2025: My family and I went to eat at this inn after visiting the fort and the village of Bard. Even though it was well past lunchtime, we were greeted and served very kindly. Typical dishes, gnocchi with wild boar ragù, carbonada with polenta and Valdostana cheese, house wine—all delicious. Fast service and excellent prices for the quality of the food. I recommend it.

28/10/2025: after some homemade bread & prosecco on the house and pulpo salad as an apertizer we had a pizza Napoli and Risotto for the main dish. we enjoyed a great bottle of Ornellaia Le Volte wine. after some espressi the owner offered us even a limoncello. the service was excellent and the food delicious. Grazie!

26/10/2025: This place should get a higher rating. Wonderful service and delicious, classic food. They give you free focaccia and have olive oil and balsamic on the table ready to go. They gave me a glass of prosecco and a shot of limoncello on the house. They also have a great wine list. I ordered a glass of wine, risotto alla Milanese, and traditional tiramisu, and now I'm ready to go to sleep. Wonderful last meal in Milan. This restaurant should get a higher rating. The service was very attentive, and the food was delicious. They gave me a free glass of prosecco and a shot of limoncello. A wonderful dinner for my last night in Milan.
