First time at this place. Welcoming and clean. Friendly, helpful, and fast. Really good food with quality ingredients, excellent sandwiches and beers. Vegan and celiac friendly too. The only small flaw is the noise level; there was a rugby match on and the place was packed, which is normal in this case. However, we were able to chat, and in a normal situation, that's more than acceptable. Perhaps a little thought for the future; sound-absorbing panels would definitely improve, but it's just a small detail.

Large and well-attended pub, good food, real pub atmosphere, friendly people and good music

Nestled in a busy area off the main road, this fantastic, very distinctive pub, shaped like a sailing ship, is a real treat. I love its originality. It offers excellent beers and unbeatable sandwiches of all flavors and, most importantly, all sizes. If you're craving a good sandwich, it's a strategic place to stop.

I went on a Tuesday evening before Christmas: the place was quite busy; we sat down and were told there would be a long wait and that we could get an appetizer. We ordered some fried food to share, and they were good. The sandwich was good too, but we had a really long wait. The beer was good.
