12/04/2026: A somewhat disappointing experience at La Piccola Abbazia. We tried the pastrami dish, which we expected to be American BBQ-style, but unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations: very thin slices, no bread, and rather disappointing side dishes. The flavor was very peppery, while the other flavors were barely present. Considering the €18 price tag per dish, we weren't convinced by the quality-price ratio. The beer was average, but overall we definitely expected more.

01/04/2026: Welcoming pub; super friendly and efficient staff. The sandwiches are good, as are the beers. The prices are a bit high; my boyfriend and I ordered a simple portion of chips, two beers, two sandwiches, and a dessert for two, and we paid €50.00.

13/11/2025: While visiting the area we made a reservation via the website and received a message saying they cannot confirm our booking. I asked if they were open at all they replied that they were but could not confirm the booking. I asked what time they were open until thinking if they couldn’t seat us maybe we could order and take it with us. Being off season there weren’t many vegetarian restaurants open so we were pretty much counting on this one. After asking several times this is the exact answer I received :” I’m sorry, you don’t understand, its not a question of being open or closed, its a question that we cannot confirm your reservation. “ I found this extremely rude and decided head to Verona instead. Since I can't respond to the response for my review i am updating instead: I will update that i received your response and i'm sorry but i just can't accept what you are now saying. You could have replied: "sorry we are closed for a private event, would you like to come another time?" Instead here as and exact copy of the conversation from whatsapp: Hello Me: Can we come for lunch today? 2 people you: I'm sorry, we cannot confirm your Booking. Me: Are you open today? You: Yes we are, but i cannot confirm your booking Me: Until what time are you open? you: Again, we cannot confirm your booking me: I understand But we want to come without a reservation Unless you are closed. What time do you close? you: I’m sorry, you don’t understand, its not a question of being open or closed, its a question that we cannot confirm your reservation. You could have just said there was a private event. I suspect you did not want to host us specifically for some reason..

21/02/2026: Seafood restaurant in Gallipoli. We went as a couple and ordered grilled swordfish, breaded and oven-baked Gallipoli red prawns, and grilled vegetables. A quick lunch, made with quality ingredients.

12/04/2026: Excellent strudel and cakes galore. Discovered last year, we returned today to buy more sweets to take home.

30/03/2026: We ate here on our first evening in Milan after arriving. It's a great little Italian restaurant. We were greeted with a small glass of Prosecco. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The tiramisu for dessert was the best we've ever had in Italy 🤩 And all at very reasonable prices.

29/03/2026: The food was delicious, and the service was excellent from the start, so I really enjoyed the meal. However, at the end, they pressured me for a tip, and when I said I wouldn't, they threw the receipt at me. I was upset at the end. The portion size and taste are good.

01/04/2026: This Osteria is a delightful surprise, preparing dishes exclusively with the freshest seafood. The tortelloni with scallops and prawns are amazing, as are the sea bass and cuttlefish! Highly recommended!

13/03/2026: Campidoglio Restaurant...a gem in the center of Verona. Whether it's an aperitif in the piazza before lunch, a business lunch, or a romantic dinner, you can't go wrong here. Lele is a guarantee, and his team is a force of nature. Service, quality ingredients, fresh fish, and carefully prepared. No frills. After all, as everyone knows, high-quality ingredients should be touched as little as possible. Well done, guys! You're a guarantee!

24/02/2026: An excellent restaurant, tucked away from the arena on a small, somewhat hidden street. The effort to find it is rewarded by exquisite cuisine focused on seafood and fish. Impeccable service and excellent wine recommendations. The tuna was incredible, expertly cooked and seasoned. The menu is rather short, which is reassuring regarding the freshness of the ingredients.

19/12/2025: You used to feel good, but today you do. It took me three days to digest the meatballs. The cacio e pepe ones were inedible. Cacio e pepe was just the name, the sauce was yellow and the taste was sour. Bad, bad. Overpriced.

18/12/2025: The meatballs were excellent. Very good food overall.

08/04/2026: I stopped by for breakfast. The atmosphere was a bit chaotic, probably because many local Italians were coming here for a quick espresso and a chat with friends before work. But that's a good sign that it's not an expensive tourist trap. The staff were very friendly and noticed tourists who spoke little or no Italian and responded in English. The pastries were still warm and really delicious, but the espresso was a bit strong for my taste. Pastries and espresso cost under €5. This cafe is definitely worth a visit!

10/04/2026: Very very good food. Across three courses there was consistently excellent quality; baccala, polipo, coniglio, maialino, tiramisu. I would dine there again without a second's reservation. My only small disappointment is €23 for a cheese plate is an exaggeration; the 5 cheeses were OK but none were exceptional (not Bagoss or even parmigiano vacche rosse)

05/04/2026: First time in Sirmione, expectations low due to the tourism, but instead we found this restaurant at 10:30 PM. The place is elegant yet simple, and the staff is courteous and knowledgeable, above all! The dishes are refined in both their ingredients and flavors. We finished with a reinterpretation of pastiera and a dessert called umami... sensational. The price was in line with the quality, without hesitation.

06/03/2026: I loved it: a welcoming, clean atmosphere with a vast selection of wines. The food was excellent; I'm completely satisfied. I'll be back!
