08/04/2026: Debora Alberto 1/5 14 minutes ago on Google Debora Alberto 1/5 right now on Google I don't usually like to give negative reviews, but in this case it's absolutely necessary, firstly because of the room management's attitude and secondly because of a whole other set of standards that a 4-star hotel should have, but in this place they aren't even close to meeting them. 1. Safety: steep stairs without a handrail to reach the "suite"; 2. "Suite" with lots of quotation marks; a hole in the parquet floor and up to that point; stained sheets that were changed by the receptionist upon request; and well, poor attention to detail in general. What shocked us was that the next morning a light bulb hanging at head height exploded, having accidentally knocked it directly onto the bed in my partner's face. The staff was unable to handle the situation; they seemed confused and annoyed. Furthermore, they didn't offer a refund for the "suite room," etc. They even reported to "Booking," the booking site, that we didn't show up to avoid a negative review. Truly, truly horrible behavior. We will never return!!! It's not a 4-star hotel; in the morning, they arrive at breakfast with sugar packets counted. Given its location, it could even be a nice place, but the amenities are lacking, and the security and staff are incompetent!!! Rating: 0!!

08/03/2026: A splendid and impeccably maintained location; unfortunately, the cuisine still needs some improvement to fully live up to the setting. The initial wait was a bit long, but overall bearable: the location and the view help you enjoy the moment. Expectations were high, especially since it's a place we'd love to return to. A few small adjustments to the dishes would be advisable: • Octopus alla Luciana: tender and flavorful, but slightly dry and cut with a knife not exactly suited to the task; • Tagliolini with cacio e pepe and mussels: tasty, but these also arrived a bit dry. An interesting note about the bread: we were told "we'll bring you some warm bread soon"... we expected it to be freshly baked, but instead it was lukewarm but cold in the middle—hard to understand why. The portions were still good, and the dishes were tasty overall. The unsolicited discount at the end was appreciated. Overall, a positive experience: we'll be back.

03/05/2026: We started with a truly exceptional mixed antipasto: delicate flan, Fassona beef tartare with top-quality truffles, and perfectly prepared veal with tuna sauce. The first courses confirmed the exceptionally high quality of the cuisine: creamy and flavorful Barolo risotto with Piedmontese toma cheese, fragrant porcini mushroom risotto, and simply delicious agnolotti del plin with the aroma of the Langhe. The extensive and carefully selected wine list is perfect for accompanying every course. Special praise goes to the staff and the owner, always attentive, courteous, and ready to offer the best possible advice. Generous portions and truly excellent value. We'll definitely be back!

I had lunch with my wife, sharing dishes: fried zucchini flowers, truly light and excellent (no photos, they were eaten immediately); agnolotti with white ragù, very good and perfectly flavorful; cabbage with bagna cauda, ​​truly delicious and very flavorful; traditional veal with tuna sauce, delicious; and for dessert, the bonet, truly delicious. Having a daughter who's a pastry chef, I'm always hesitant to order desserts, but this one was truly top-notch. If I were to pass through Casale Monferrato again, I'd definitely stop by.

Upon entry, a well-stocked bar welcomes you for a delicious aperitif, flanked by a lounge with colorful sofas where you can enjoy it before dining in one of the dining rooms. Simple, comfortable furnishings. Reservations are recommended and appreciated.

13/04/2026: A very pleasant dinner, featuring a well-executed traditional Piedmontese menu. We started with a mixed appetizer, varied and beautifully presented, featuring high-quality ingredients and balanced flavors. Among the first courses, the Gorgonzola risotto with pears and saffron was creamy and well-blended, with an interesting contrast between sweet and savory. Perhaps a little delicate in flavor, but still very enjoyable. The real star was the Piedmontese-style fritto misto: a rich and abundant dish, featuring a variety of meats, vegetables, and more unusual preparations. The fried food was crispy and fairly dry, although some pieces were a bit heavier. Overall, however, it was traditional and satisfying. The desserts were also highly appreciated: the fresh and well-balanced sorbets and the delicious fried desserts, perfect for ending the meal. The friendly service and quiet atmosphere were ideal for a relaxed dinner. The prices were average, consistent with the quality and quantity. A positive experience, especially recommended for those who want to try traditional Piedmontese cuisine, with a delicious mixed fry.

02/05/2026: Three of us arrived on a Saturday for lunch without a reservation. We were greeted by a very kind waiter who showed us to our table. The waiter's incredible kindness immediately made me think I'd definitely return. The rib-eye steak, the tagliata served on the stone, was the icing on the cake. The meat melted in my mouth. The mixed antipasto with Fassona beef, Bra sausage, Russian salad, and veal with tuna sauce was a sensational start to the meal. It was a culinary experience we'll definitely repeat. My thanks go to the waiter, who made us feel so pampered.

20/05/2026: I went here when on a trip in Turin with my girlfriend. We were so well looked after for the whole meal and excellent staff who even did a special desert plate for my girlfriend’s birthday. Lovely local wines and delicious food. The Tiramisu was so good. Can’t fault it, we loved it. Side note it’s queer friendly as well

20/05/2026: Dinner with friends...superb Piedmontese appetizers! Delicious strozzapreti with octopus...😋😋waiters prompt and quick...what more can I say? We have to come back!!

30/12/2025: It looks as if it was recently built, judging by the way it's kept. It's not a grand building with any frills or decorations, but rather a country estate that served as the headquarters for the family winemaking business. The fascinating tours illustrate rural life and the history of wine and truffles. Every window offers priceless views of the surrounding landscape.

29/12/2025: An enchanting site, one of the most prestigious in the Langhe, with a rich and captivating history. The green area surrounding the fortress offers extraordinary panoramic views. Inside, there are courtyards, halls, and visitor areas.

15/05/2026: This place and its team are everything that's right. I had the tasting menu, and the love and dedication were evident in every dish. The wine selection was incredible... the history of Piedmont told through food. The service was excellent. It's definitely worth a visit!

12/05/2026: Excellent lunch, top-notch cuisine, knowledgeable and friendly staff, charming and elegant location. We'll be back to dine in the beautiful garden. Special mention for the "L'uovo" dessert, almost artistic.

06/05/2026: What we ordered: open raviolo with scallops and courgette flowers, with lemon and black garlic sauce, spaghetti with red shrimp absolute, intense bisque, seared shrimp and fresh basil, asparagus ravioli with butter, roast sauce, crispy bacon and balsamic vinegar, eggplant and yellowfin tuna parmiggiana with almond cream and sesame dressing. I won't describe in detail my impressions of each dish, as I would have to repeat the exact same thing for each one. Each was top-notch. A true feast for the palate. The yellowfin tuna deserves special mention, both for the quality of the fish used and the perfect way it was cooked to perfection. The scallop ravioli was similar. The sauce made from the heads and shells of the red shrimp was very intense – it made a truly impressive impression. The asparagus ravioli was heavenly light. The service was excellent, demonstrating sensitivity and class. The wine was perfectly matched. Fair price-quality ratio.

13/05/2026: The second of our two favorite places. Very small (seating only 30 something), a true family (husband and wife?) restaurant featuring creative local cuisine excellently prepared. Very helpful with the wine recommendations. We went twice as couples and found everything from the pastas to the fish and steak to be excellent. Desserts were truly outstanding, and a great wine list also. Due to the intimate size and quality, reservations are strongly recommended.

01/05/2026: We dined there tonight and it was just wonderful! The food, wine and decor was perfect, not to mention the incredible welcome by the husband and wife team. Highly recommend.. hope to head back there the next time we are in Turin.

14/05/2026: The pizza was quite good, but I didn't like the vegetables on the vegetarian pizza because they weren't seasoned. I was disappointed, however, that they didn't offer any Italian non-alcoholic drinks, only Coca-Cola. I would have preferred Mole Cola, Lemon Soda, or Estathe instead!

23/04/2026: How can you not try vitello tonnato in Turin? It was very good at Osteria in Vino Veritas. We had lunch and ate very well. Unpretentious flavors, local and authentic cuisine. I recommend it.
