08/12/2025: This isn't my first time here for lunch or dinner, and the chef has always delighted me. I'm vegetarian and lactose intolerant, so I require a separate menu. The care, originality, and creativity are evident in every dish. Never boring, always delicious, tasty, and healthy. Prepared with skill and passion. I recommend Locanda dei Paoli to vegetarians and vegans who want to enjoy delicious and unique dishes. The peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff, attentive to the needs of both adults and children, complete the experience. Thanks for everything, as always. See you next time!

28/11/2025: We just enjoyed an amazing (Thanksgiving night) meal in the lovely city of Stresa, Italy. Just a few minutes walk from our room, we found Ristorante Lo Stornello, the perfect choice. We started with 1. Piedmontese beef tartare with hazelnut cream and local cheese fondue 2. Potato gnocchi scented with porcini mushrooms, veal reduction, pumpkin, mountain pine powder and Vigezzo Valley pancetta 3. Veal loin cooked at low temperature and sautéed in aromatic butter, lard-based condiment with parsley, smoked potatoes gratinated with Bettelmatt cheese 4. Semifreddo forest bianca with white chocolate, fresh currants, raspberries, blackberries and gooseberries 5. A beautiful bottle of Barbera d'Asti Montebruna Braida Thank you Chef Cesare, Gabriel and Alberto for the stunning meal and amazing service

20/09/2025: More than a dinner... it's a journey of expertly reinterpreted dishes that speak of the local area. We didn't try the menu but opted for the à la carte menu, and I must say we were very satisfied. Our least favorite was the dessert, but above all, the Sambucana sheep, the Pesio sturgeon, the spaghetti with Castelmagno cheese, the macaroni, and the pork with mushrooms were truly top-notch. The price, as we know, is high for a Michelin-starred restaurant, but it's definitely worth it. The service was prompt, never over the top, truly perfect. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated. We'll be back to try the menu.

29/11/2025: Super helpful and professional staff! They take great care of their customers with great courtesy and elegance. The traditional Turin dishes, with a contemporary twist, are simply spectacular! The quality/price ratio is truly incredible! The refined setting and atmosphere are reminiscent of a Michelin-starred restaurant. I wouldn't be surprised if I found it in the Michelin guide tomorrow, because it's truly worthy. Congratulations!

07/12/2025: Very varied menu with tasty, well-prepared dishes. The atmosphere is a bit chaotic due to the large, always-busy dining room. The Chinese lady at the cash register is very friendly and even gave me a discount!

08/10/2025: A family-run trattoria where you'll feel at home as soon as you enter, thanks to Luca's hospitality and his family's home-cooked food. The menu changes daily, with at least three first courses and three second courses to choose from. If available, I absolutely recommend the gnocchi, which are homemade! I had them Tyrolean style one day, and yesterday with sausage and pumpkin cream. Delicious! It's been a long time since I've had them this good. Generous portions and incredibly low prices! Some days they also offer special dishes, such as paella or tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, upon request. Unfortunately, I don't live nearby, but when I'm passing through, going there for dinner is a must for me!

05/08/2025: We caught the ferry over and walked here, it's up a lot of steps but through the beautiful old part of town with all the picturesque laneways. Clean comfortable good breakfast. Great restaurant recommendation.

12/07/2025: We stayed with Anna (the owner), who was courteous and efficient. The rooms are beautiful, bright, and clean. The location is excellent, quiet, and just steps from the center of the nightlife.

15/12/2025: A pleasant surprise, although recommended by a friend who lives in Turin, I didn't have high expectations. Instead, we found excellent pizza, with the option to choose between Neapolitan/Roman/whole wheat, and a wide selection. Very satisfied, attentive service, and a pleasant location.

10/12/2025: Last night I celebrated my mom's birthday at this fantastic pizzeria, and we had an incredible experience! The service was impeccable, the staff was kind and helpful. The first course I ordered was delicious, the flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was stunning. My mom's pizza was delicious, cooked to perfection and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere was welcoming and romantic, perfect for a special occasion like a birthday. It was excellent. Highly recommended!

23/11/2025: Terrible experience, I don't recommend it to anyone who uses the The Fork app or who is NOT ITALIAN. My friend and I had booked at 9pm. When we arrived there, the owner made us come back after 1 hour. On our return, we waited again for 10 minutes to prepare the table. When we arrived, the owner didn't welcome us or anything, not even asking us about the reservations we had made on The Fork. When we sat down, the owner already started being rude towards my friend. We ate at prices that were too high and portions that were too small, considering that we were in a RESTAURANT, not in a STARRED restaurant, which should be a welcoming place, but it wasn't like that at all. We could already hear people sitting at a table saying various unpleasant things about us. We got to the end of dinner, went to the bathroom to wash our hands and leave, and we could hear people outside saying "Look at these Maranzas." As we were leaving and heading towards the exit, the owner told us that we had to pay €39, but we had already paid everything with the Yums, which were €50 for me and my friend, since we had 2 reservations for 2 tables, which the owner DIDN'T ASK FOR at the entrance. The owner started to get angry and rude towards us, discriminating against us and threatening to beat us up if we tried to talk to him, also asking me why I was speaking that way when I was only trying to be respectful towards him, since that's what he didn't do towards us. The owner claimed that in his opinion we didn't have half a euro, even comparing us to the public figure Don Ali, since he's our fellow countryman, claiming that we were being smart and threatening to lock us in the restaurant and beat us up. Only after the police arrived did the owner cancel a reservation on TheFork, but we still haven't received anything. Then, by saying "I'll just call him and he'll come down," everything was resolved by the police and a gentleman present. Terrible experience, the worst of my life. I don't recommend it if you're a young foreigner and if you use TheFork.

23/08/2025: A perfect dinner. Everything was truly delicious and high-quality, from appetizer to dessert. The hazelnut-crusted sirloin steak deserves special mention: it was exquisite and melted in the mouth. The selection of local cheeses was also very tasty. The service was relaxed and pleasant. The dining room has a stunning view, and if you go at sunset, it's even more worth it.

26/08/2025: What a great restaurant, run by the loveliest family. Outside you enjoy a typical Piedmont view, and inside you sit in a charming old ruin. The family is truly exceptional – wonderful cooking, warm hospitality and great advice on both wine and food. We stayed in the Castello next to the restaurant and were lucky enough to eat here three times. We look back on it with great joy. Grazie!

21/06/2025: È stata una cena squisita sulla terrazza con vista. Siamo partiti da un antipasto leggero di pesce (fettine di spada e tonno) e tortino di melanzane, per passare ai primi dal gusto delicato (gnocchetti e ravioli), a seguire i secondi di carne (brasato e agnello) ma anche il salmone in crosta di sesamo. Abbiamo concluso il tutto con dei desserts ottimi. Il tutto accompagnato da un buonissimo barbera e dalla cortesia e simpatia del proprietario. L'impiattamento molto elegante ci ha permesso di assaporare il cibo dedicandogli il giusto tempo.

20/10/2025: A very cool hotel, built in old traditions. The interior and exterior are incredibly beautiful, with original paintings on the walls, old furniture, swirls, and tapestries. Awesome spa with a hot tub and the opportunity to swim outside. Super location. If anyone's interested, there's a helipad across from the hotel. The hotel has its own private park.
