19/06/2025: Very good food, with quality ingredients and a wide choice of dishes for all tastes. The only shame is the chips, which are frozen, as written on the menu. Excellent service and average prices. Recommended!

28/02/2025: Specifically, I have traveled through Italy during the years of my travels from Trieste to Porto Cesareo. I love Italy and go back several times a year. Over the many years of traveling, I have stayed in an incredible number of hotels, guest houses and various B & Bs. Since I myself work at a hotel and have been in the tourism industry for more than 20 years, I have always rated all my accommodations on Booking as a full 10, because they deserved it. I'll make one exception here and if I can't review on booking, I'll review here. I would like to point out in advance that the rating does not refer to the hotel's services or the quality of the accommodation, but is an assessment exclusively of the management. At the beginning of January 2025, I made a reservation on Booking for June 2025. Today I received a request from the hotel to cancel the reservation myself, because they are planning to renovate the hotel. I consider this action to be absolutely unprofessional, because the reconstruction is not planned from one day to the next, but is planned in advance (at least for the off-season and not for the summer). And when it was already known that there would be a period of reconstruction, they should have closed the online sales capacity of the rooms so that no one could make a reservation. Alternatively, plan the reconstruction from a certain period when there is no reservation and then the online sales capacity of the rooms is closed - this is the usual procedure. According to booking, this is the only hotel right in the city center of Civitella del Tronto, so I canceled the reservation because I wouldn't be able to stay there anyway, due to the closure. In a situation where you have everything planned, bought plane tickets, tickets for all trains throughout Italy (high-speed trains to Basilicata, back through Abruzzo and the final to Venezia), booked hotels in all cities, this hotel wants to cancel your reservation and it will completely ruin your travel plans, because apparently there is no other hotel in the city center of Civitella del Tronto. If the sales capacity on booking was closed, I would have made my vacation plans differently, so I have already lost a certain amount of money (at least for the trains) and now I am looking for an alternative solution. I hope that Mr. Zunica is aware that my cancellation of the reservation was due to my good will, I did not have to cancel the reservation and he would have to find accommodation in the same or higher category of the hotel in the given location, exactly according to the booking conditions. I do not recommend this hotel, the management's unprofessional approach will cause you a lot of extra worries instead of a pleasant stay.

14/01/2025: The room called the "grottino" is intimate and welcoming but you pay for the fact that there is no air conditioning. The staff should be more careful when asking the degree of doneness of the meat.

14/07/2025: Truly excellent pizza, light dough, top-quality ingredients, and perfectly cooked. The desserts were a surprise, not the usual standard selection...in particular, I'd say just thinking about the raspberry charlotte makes me lick my lips, I swear. Overall, the menu is varied and interesting, and even the restaurant dishes (seen and commented favorably by others at the table) are truly delicious and well-made. Plus, for those who appreciate them, there's a selection of gourmet chili oils...I've never had Carolina Reaper or Habanero Chocolate on pizza before! :) Excellent location, just steps from the beach and the main street. Modern place, professional and friendly staff. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner: a friendly, passionate, and very helpful person. You can tell he really cares about the quality and smooth running of the place. Definitely worth a try.

08/07/2025: Excellent restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea, stunning views. We ordered two delicious first courses and a fish tempura with vegetables, which we ordered seconds of because it was so good. To accompany the fish, we chose Ansonica, a native white wine from Elba Island. A welcoming atmosphere with background music. Impeccable service. Highly recommended.

07/07/2025: Awful experience. The order was taken chaotically. We were 5 persons and when we asked why the order is not taken for the whole table, they said we are too many people. We asked for water, they brought it after the food with only 2 glasses. We had to take the cutlery by ourselves.

27/04/2025: Encontramos este bonito restaurante por casualidad y no nos decepcionó. La comida era muy buena (ñoquis, espaguetis con tinta de calamar, tomate y mozzarella,...) y no se puede superar la vista. El precio era medio (unos 140 euros para los cuatro) para Venecia. Sin duda volvería allí de nuevo y lo recomiendo.

21/04/2025: Le restaurant est situé sur une terrasse flottante au bord de l’eau. On voit les bateaux passer. Très bon accueil Nous avons pris 2 plats - Spaghettis préparés dans une demi meule de parmesan. Un délice - Moules et palourdes en sauce avec tomates cerises et basilic avec chapeau de pain. Du jamais vu. Un vrai coup de cœur !

04/05/2025: Siano stati con la famiglia per degustare un pranzo tipico (cappellacci alla zucca, Salamina, torta tenerina). Il menù degustazione da 25euro conviene. Ci hanno anche accettato i ticket. Siamo stati bene !

26/06/2025: A real find in Camogli.... Fantastic food, imagination from a short menu based on variants of solid classics all expertly cooked and presented. Great service from all the front of house staff. Really very enjoyable meal - many thanks again to the staff and owner!

30/05/2025: Bachelor party dinner for a friend. Everything was perfect. Food, atmosphere and service were top notch. And the girl on the staff with oriental features was simply divine!!!! Top top top

28/05/2025: Ambiente molto appariscente, elegante, luci soffuse, atmosfera discreta che poi si trasforma in festa dopo cena dove si canta e si balla. Cucina buona con qualche piccola sbavatura (pasta troppo al dente per usare un eufemismo), valida carta dei vini. Servizio cordiale anche se a volte un po' lento. Valutazione complessiva che tiene conto del prezzi sicuramente impegnativi e per i quali quindi si giustificano aspettative elevate.

28/05/2025: Imaginative atmosphere, a bit noisy. The bill is a bit steep (50 for two sandwiches and side dish + drink) but the burger is very good, excellent meat and soft bread.

20/05/2025: Unfortunately our first experience at this place was not very positive. From the moment we sat down, an hour passed before they took our orders, I understand that on a Saturday night there are a lot of people, but the wait was really too long. We had to ask for the menus to be brought to us (after more than half an hour since we arrived) and attract the attention of the staff several times. It's a real shame because the place is nice (with a lot of items from the most famous fantasy sagas) and they have a wide selection of beers, the food is not bad. Unfortunately the service was really bad.

18/06/2025: Centrally located. Free parking nearby. Unfortunately in mid-June the summer season has not yet started and therefore Cervinia is semi-deserted. Hotel needs maintenance. There is no air conditioning. Breakfast: good

30/05/2025: Beware of fraud! We made a reservation at the restaurant to have a good meal. The food was excellent and the taste was top-notch! We can't complain at all. Unfortunately, the surroundings weren't great. They tried to scam us. We asked if there was parking available for visitors/guests of the restaurant. There was, and we parked our car there. On the bill for the meal, we saw that €15 had been charged for parking. However, the parking lot sign stated in Italian that the parking space was reserved for guests (see photo I uploaded). After discussing this with the waiter, who then asked the manager, I also asked the other guests around us if they had to pay for parking. They all said no, because the parking space was reserved for guests. Only we were charged the €15. After back and forth and discussion, the €15 was removed from the bill, and we paid and left. Upstairs at the exit, the manager (his name is Silvio Battistoni) came towards us and cursed and insulted us. We tried calmly to explain that it was unfair why we had to pay for parking while all the other guests didn't. He simply said that everyone had to pay and that we should just ask the others. I told him that I had actually done that, and the answer was that they didn't have to pay. He got angry and didn't know what to say and just said that because we had a "supercar," we should pay the price. If we had the money for a "supercar," then we had to pay the €15. We tried to explain that it wasn't about the money, but that they were trying to rip us off. Why didn't everyone else have to pay and only we did because we had a "supercar" (his words)? He threw us out and slammed the door. Unfortunately, a very unpleasant experience. Because the food and the atmosphere were top-notch! It was really great. But having to try to cheat someone out of €15 while all the other guests don't have to pay is a real shame.

04/05/2025: Ci saremmo aspettati qualcosa di meglio, partendo dalla location ferma a trent’anni fa, servizio decisamente non perfetto e non al livello in cui si vogliono piazzare, cucina anonima, semplice, nulla che abbia quel qualcosa in più… unica nota positiva gli entreè e il dolce. A Varese ci sono altri ristoranti dove mangiare meglio.
