17/11/2025: I was disappointed by the experience, despite the high expectations raised by the carefully curated images on the website. I ordered a "My Bowl," but was served a visually sloppy dish, with ingredients sloppily mixed, overly salty, and unbalanced: the salad and egg predominated, while the other ingredients were barely noticeable. I had asked about the salmon to avoid the overly fatty one, but I was served a very fatty slice of smoked salmon, simply "thrown" into the salad. The final bill (over €20, including a €2 cover charge) is unjustified, especially considering the lack of minimal tableware. It's a shame, because the idea is interesting, but the execution was decidedly disappointing.

23/10/2025: Good food, efficient staff, and a relaxing atmosphere (a stark contrast to the noise of other venues on Saturday nights). I recommend better ventilation, however; perhaps the kitchen should be better isolated from the dining area...

29/07/2025: Everything was excellent...from the atmosphere to the food, from the helpful staff to Fabio's friendliness!!! There's even a play area for kids...recommended!!!

24/10/2025: Salty, almost inedible arrosticini. If I have to pay €1.40 or €1.50 (I couldn't find out the price since the menu is nonexistent and they tell you what they have), I expect arrosticini of a certain quality, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Then you go to the cashier and find out how much you paid (and quite a lot). Honestly, for my part, I won't be going back.

04/11/2025: Lu Pianellese is a traditional restaurant that captivates with the simplicity and authenticity of its dishes. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is always kind and attentive. The prices are excellent, and the owner is truly the heart of the place: a delightful person, always available and passionate about his work. An authentic place, where Abruzzo tradition and hospitality are evident in every detail.

30/09/2025: Very disappointing experience. We arrived at 8 PM with two small kids, ordered right away, but only got our appetizer at 9:15. Our baby’s food came earlier, but the rest was delayed and cold when it finally arrived at 9:30, only after we complained. I ordered an Aperol Spritz but was given a different aperitif without being told. The tuna tartare was average, and the squid was sandy. To make it worse, other tables that arrived later were served much faster. Not a good experience, especially with children.

14/09/2025: The place is in a beautiful location just steps from the sea. The waitresses are friendly, helpful, and fast... and the pizza "lingua di gatto" is fantastic! 😍

30/08/2025: Not the best value for money. For a trattoria, the portions are smaller and the prices are higher than those of other restaurants in the area. Almost all the dishes we initially ordered, from appetizers to main courses, were sold out (we arrived around 1:30 PM). The appetizer we ordered, among those still available, NEVER arrived. The meat main course was small, and the first course (pasta with sauce) was sour and a bit salty. Unfortunately, not recommended.

08/12/2025: A historic restaurant in Pescara. Today I went to their new location on the seafront, always top-notch in terms of quality and service.

17/09/2025: On Sunday, five of us went to lunch at the new Scaricarello a 4 vele. The place was half-empty. We sat down at 1:00 PM, and the first courses arrived at a quarter to 3:00 PM. During the hour and three-quarter wait, we ate the bruschetta we ordered (very good, but it took 45 minutes for it to arrive, and we had to order it three times: the first two times, they'd lost the order) and drank the wrong wine (we ordered one bottle, and another arrived—we didn't ask for a change, fearing we'd have to wait an hour). During the nearly two-hour wait for our first courses, besides drinking wine and hopefully staring at the kitchen in the back of the restaurant, we also witnessed a couple of incorrect orders, meaning waiters came to our table with dishes ordered by other tables. The problem, then, is clearly in the kitchen: the restaurant can't efficiently manage such an extensive menu (from 100 Abruzzo-style first courses to fish dishes, meat main courses, and numerous appetizers with various platters), and in fact the only thing that arrives quickly is dessert, because it's already ready. It's strange to be in a restaurant at lunchtime and see that almost no one is eating because everyone is waiting! It's a shame because the dishes were good; the first courses were really well cooked, and the second courses looked tasty too. In short, the talent is there, but the skill is lacking. Let's hope they improve... I wouldn't go back now; no one wants to wait two hours for a plate of pasta, no matter how good it is.

04/11/2025: Excellent quality of the fish and excellent cooking. The appetizer, however, is not of the same quality. The 1980s-style atmosphere could use a refresh. The overly intrusive service tries to impose the menu and wine selection.

27/10/2025: Ardente is synonymous with quality ingredients and the pursuit of fresh, delicious produce! I'd heard about their arrosticini, and after tasting them, I can honestly say there's no better place in Abruzzo. The spicy ones are tops! I also really appreciated their variety of cured meats and cheeses...delicious! The owner, Fabrizio, and his team always welcome everyone with kindness and a "ardent" warmth!

23/08/2025: Beautiful place, great company, and great service. The ice cream is truly special! It's located in a very strategic part of town, and parking is easy to find. I recommend stopping by for a break.

03/07/2025: Went to this restaurant at 10pm, traveled up two flights of stairs and this place is either under construction or non-existent... There was no music, no sounds, no tables, no people, no anything. Nothing existed but a rug leading to the next level on the stairs.

27/04/2025: (03/25) Dopo aver sbirciato tra le varie opzioni di consegna, ho capito che il cibo a domicilio di questo posto era un po’ come un film di Hollywood: promesso bene, ma finisce spesso con qualche scena mancata. Piatti buoni? Sì, ma alle volte con ingredienti/aggiunte pagate, mancanti o con una versione che sembrava uscita da un’altra stagione. La sorpresa più grande? La costante sensazione che, anche ordinando lo stesso piatto due volte, non ti trovavi mai davanti allo stesso identico capolavoro. Ragion per cui non ho ordinato più. Così eccomi lì, sotto il consiglio della mia compagna, ad entrare in un locale che ti accoglie con vibes da pub di quartiere, dove le luci sono soft e non ti fanno sembrare di stare in una sala di radioterapia. Spazi ampi, qui si può respirare, non devi per forza condividere il tavolo con il vicino. La disposizione è fatta bene, e la sensazione è quella di essere in un posto dove si può parlare senza urlare, ma anche godersi il silenzio se si preferisce. Il menù? Un parco giochi di possibilità. Piatti invitanti e porzioni che a volte ti fanno dire "Ok, può andare, mi devo accontentare", altre volte "Hmm, potevano farla un po' più abbondante". E qui quando si è in gruppo ti vien da dire: perché lui lo ha più grosso? (No doppi sensi) Ha anche più patatine? Forse il mio ha un tocco di mistero che ancora devo scoprire? Le patatine, sì, sono poche. Non so se scelgono in base a preferenze su chi darne di più. La qualità? Più o meno buona, senza troppi fronzoli: alcuni piatti sono una scoperta, altri un po' sotto le aspettative. Si ha quell'impressione di mancanza di qualcosa, come un film senza il colpo di scena finale. Ma ci tornerò sicuramente, perché a parte tutto l'atmosfera che si respira con gli ampi spazi è piacevole.

13/10/2025: Stunning village, all in stone, seen from afar (coming from Campo di Giove) it is a postcard. Very nice restaurant, very panoramic location, favorable weather you can also have lunch in the square. As for the food...... exceptional: tagliatelle with truffle, mushrooms and sausage excellent, grilled lamb equally excellent even in the cooking, very good wine, reasonable price "a few euros less would be a fortune" I joke.

06/09/2025: Lunch with a view of the Majella and Monte Amaro is priceless. And if you eat well, you're in heaven.
