11/06/2026: Mine isn't a criticism but an objective observation: starting out as a delicatessen, you can't afford to pay €20 for two sandwiches with 24-month-aged Parma ham and a small bottle of still water!!! It's definitely not just a delicatessen; it's a unique place worth trying for other options, such as appetizers, wines, and more.

08/08/2026: Good food, rude waiters, 2 hours and 10 minutes for arrosticini. They take orders from all the tables when they have a grill for 30 arrosticini at a time. Embarrassing. The waiter takes the wrong orders and the owner is completely incompetent.

08/08/2026: We arrived at 8:30 and were served at 11:15. Wrong order, rude waiters who ignored our questions about the delay. Two tables of more than 10 people (who arrived half an hour after us) passed us by. We asked for handmade arrosticini for €1.40 and were brought the small ones for €1, but the bill showed the first courses, not the ones we actually ate.

23/07/2026: For me, these are the best arrosticini in Pescara. The decision to keep them slightly rare on the inside is spot on, and the cuts are perfect, soft and tender like butter, just as they advertise. The cipollata (onion stew) is very good, another of the restaurant's signature dishes, and truly excellent paired with focaccia and meat. Excellent wine selection, a welcoming atmosphere, and always very friendly service.

22/07/2026: I'll start by saying that even on the phone when I booked, I was annoyed by the arrogance with which I was answered by someone who asked me to sit inside with the air conditioning on, given the high temperatures these days! I overlooked it, but I wouldn't have even wanted to go again, but I was just curious. They raved about it so much. Now I don't know if all Frate Tac restaurants are the same as the one I went to in the hills of Pescara, but frankly, it was an experience to forget! The food isn't bad, the quality of the ingredients is good—I'm talking about the platter bearing the name of the house. The pizza is decent. The arrosticini were ordered by other diners who were with me and said they weren't special but not bad either. What's unacceptable is the tablecloths; there weren't even paper placemats in front of each person! Now, I understand the cost of the paper, but eating at the table is unacceptable, absolutely not! I don't even eat at the table at home, which I'm sure I clean every day! It's unacceptable! Extremely tired staff, unsmiling, and barely responding to requests! However, there's always room for improvement, and I highly recommend this place for just about everything! I'm not even giving it a passing grade yet!

08/06/2026: Excellent experience! 🍣 This sushi restaurant is simply fantastic. The food is incredibly fresh, prepared with great care, and impeccably presented. Every dish was delicious and full of authentic flavors. Special thanks to the wait staff: the waiters were extremely kind, smiling, and always available to help. They were able to recommend the best dishes with great professionalism and attention, making us feel welcomed as special guests. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, perfect for a dinner with friends or a special occasion. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone who loves quality sushi and impeccable service. A well-deserved five stars!

17/05/2026: If you're a fan of raw seafood, it's not to be missed! Not to mention the various rolls and entrees. Very good. If you're just a few people, you'll be served by a small automated waiter (if I understand correctly). Definitely worth a try!

24/02/2026: I happened upon this small pastry shop, late one afternoon, while walking my dog. The smell of freshly baked cakes led us both to the property and as it was late in the day i expected the pastries to be hard. However i was pleasantly surprised to find they were delicious and among the best i had ever tasted. A subsequent visit confirmed that it was no fluke and i fully intend to visit again the next time i am in Pescara. Some reviews have commented about the rudeness of the staff and the expensive prices, but both the older woman and her daughter were very pleasant to my dog and me and although the prices are more than i am used to paying, i am happy to pay extra for the superior quality.

17/05/2026: We started dinner with a beef tartare and fried cheese, each one better than the last, both in presentation and in the quality of the ingredients. The liver and meat arrosticini were truly tender and well-cooked (the meat ones lacked salt, but I had salt on hand and was able to add more). Impeccable service, the wait staff were all professional and friendly, especially Francesco, who must have chased at least three tables looking for lost items. I highly recommend it.

10/05/2026: IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S COMMENT: If we'd asked to change the Prosecco, would you have charged us for that too? I repeat, if a customer complains about something wrong, I'll remake it properly, charging only for what's consumed. I understand the desire to rinse one's hands with a one-euro-and-fifty-cent discount, but it still doesn't hold up, since two sips were enough for me to decide to leave the cocktail there. If I don't consume it, why should I pay for it? I understand wanting to distance oneself from someone who tries to exploit it, but the circumstances speak for themselves. REVIEW: Lack of humility and professionalism. Leaving aside the flat Prosecco, I couldn't drink a cocktail because the amount of syrup was excessive (it felt like drinking the glucose syrup they administer for blood sugar tests). Two waiters were very delicately informed of the problem, and that they could take it back. Once we got to the cashier, we explained this to the lady at the counter, who, instead of understanding the issue (since the cocktail hadn't been consumed), started giving a lecture on how this drink was made, as if I'd never had it before. Without any apology, it was added to the bill anyway, with a slight discount of €1.50. Now, as someone who works in the industry, if a customer complains about a burnt or bad pizza, I humbly apologize and proceed to make another one, made well, without charging for the one they returned. I know when a customer is taking advantage of it, and I hate to criticize, but I didn't take advantage of the situation, and at the very least, transparency and fairness are expected. Obviously, I'll never go back.

03/07/2026: The ambiance isn't bad, but the shrimp pasta isn't quite up to par. A poor shrimp sitting on a plate of chitarrina, a sour sauce that didn't even look like shrimp... I didn't even try the main course because it was just the lamb bones. Bad, bad... and to think that all it takes to flavor a sauce is a bit of shells and a pinch of baking soda. And the service... four requests to finally get some water... We won't be back.

29/06/2026: I called just to see if they were open, and in a decidedly irritated tone, I was reminded that they're closed on Mondays and that "it's written everywhere." What can I say... I'd only recommend a welcome like that to my worst enemy.

18/08/2026: Usually I don’t share reviews. But while drinking my mojito I was reading the reviews left by other people, and could only disagree with the negative reviews 1st the price seing the food served with the cocktail is more than fair Then to be honest the owner’s wife and the waitress were both very polite and smiling with me (tip for other people : usually when you smile, people smile back, if you don’t same reaction) Would definitely recommend this place

24/06/2026: We chose this accommodation because breakfast was included in the price, but the experience in that regard was very poor. At the bar where breakfast was served, the waitress's service was quite inadequate. We had to ask for what we wanted several times, and even then, they didn't pay much attention to us, so the breakfast was very limited. We ordered a lactose-free latte, which never arrived, and we also asked them to heat up some croissants, which they also refused to do despite our specific request. Overall, the breakfast service was the worst part of our stay.

18/06/2026: Great place, I recommend the crema kaffe. The ice cream shop next door is an added bonus. Family atmosphere.

15/06/2026: This place has nothing to do with tiramisu. There are medium quality desserts. The dessert served to us was made only of cream and chocolate (or something similar for chocolate).

18/12/2025: A well-kept place down to the smallest details, very bright in the evening, the outdoor pool with blue lights gives a great effect, the clean lawn with outdoor tables, a shame about the temperature, but I will return when the weather is warm, inside very welcoming with attentive and thoughtful staff, once the order was taken well recommended by the owner, the dishes begin to arrive, hot and cold appetizers all of the Abruzzo tradition, the same for the first courses, handmade, amazing ravioli, the second a grilled lamb cooked well and tender, the same for the desserts, the sweet pizza could not be missed, I highly recommend this farmhouse, reservations are recommended, the place is always full, Congratulations ☺️
