La Casa del Gelso In Città sant'angelo

We chose this restaurant to celebrate our son's baptism last Sunday. The dishes were truly delicious, carefully prepared, and enjoyed by all our guests, making the experience a positive one from a culinary perspective. The charming location, too, is a strong point of the restaurant. Unfortunately, however, the service didn't live up to expectations. The staff proved unprofessional: the dishes were served rather brusquely, almost slammed on the table, and especially some of the girls seemed annoyed and bothered by our simple requests. It's truly a shame, because the quality of the food deserves adequate service. With more attention to the customer, the experience would have been decidedly better. This review is intended to be constructive and help improve the service, because the place deserves it.

The restaurant is attractive, although I thought it was larger. Very welcoming and ideal for families, as there's a beautiful outdoor garden where children can play safely. The food has unique flavors; I think it's good, but not for fans of classic rustic fare. The staff is very friendly, but the service overall is a bit slow. The price may be a bit high for the quality, but it's also true that prices have gone up everywhere.
