11/05/2026: Typical restaurant, authentic food. Fair prices, these days you can get a pizza for 30 euros. I've read absurd complaints, and Simone doesn't deserve them. You have to be honest and analyze the situation when judging people's work. Otherwise, stay home. Unmatched value for money.

15/03/2026: I returned after many years with my girlfriend, having fond memories of the past, but after being there twice within several months, I feel (temporarily) like I don't want to return. I could sum it all up as the service being far too disappointing for their standards, as one waiter for that number of diners proved to be far too small. As soon as we were seated, we had to wait several minutes for the menu, which is actually displayed entirely verbally by the staff (I understand not wanting to invest in paper, which can get damaged and is expensive, but then you should get digital tools, which are one-offs). They also do it too quickly and reductively, almost as if they were saying, "Hurry up, I have other things to do." This way, you don't get a clear idea of ​​the prices and what the restaurant actually offers. This lack of staff has also led to some orders being misplaced and service slowing down (two hours for an appetizer, half a meter of pizza, and 14 arrosticini seems insane to me). Otherwise, regarding the quality of the products and the relaxed, informal atmosphere, there's nothing to complain about... CONGRATULATIONS for preserving all of this! Years ago, I went there several times, very happily, but now, given that I've had the same experience twice in a row, several months apart, I don't think I'll be back for a long time.

08/10/2025: We went for lunch today, arriving around 12:30 as the first customers. A gentleman greeted us and handed us the paper menu we requested (even though they have a QR code). He took our order and served us right away with drinks. The food arrived shortly after. We ordered tofu with mushrooms and bamboo shoots and rice noodles with pork and vegetables, which were very good. My side order was bean sprouts with sautéed julienned carrots (they weren't on the menu, but I asked for a side and they accommodated me), followed by sweet and sour chicken, which was also excellent. The place and restrooms were clean, and the price was more than fair. Considering we were just passing through, it was a great experience; we'll keep it in mind for the future. 😊

27/05/2026: One of the best pizzas I've ever had, in my opinion, of course! The service is almost selfie-like, very fast. Good prices, and a great location.

02/05/2026: Terrible as always. We arrived at 7:00 PM for two takeout pizzas, which was still closed. They told us they'd have the pizzas out at 7:45 PM. At 8:00 PM, a customer came out with two pizzas, while we were still waiting. At 8:15 PM, still waiting, when we asked for an explanation, how it was possible that even though we were the first ones there, someone had gotten their pizza before us, the answer was: "You ordered yesterday." A free joke. The rest is a tip.

12/10/2025: The food and hospitality are top notch. I recommend it to anyone who wants the authentic flavours of Abruzzo.

02/07/2026: The historic chalet on the south side of Tortoreto Lido reopened this year with some very welcome changes. The bar has reopened, and the restaurant is always open at noon, but only in the evenings on weekends. We ate at noon; the mussel soup and mixed fried fish were excellent. I thank all the staff, who were kind, helpful, and fast.

23/06/2026: Spectacular lunch! Super fresh fish, generous portions, and everything was truly delicious. From appetizer to dessert, there wasn't a single thing we didn't like. Everything was prepared with care and top-quality ingredients. You can see the passion and commitment behind this place. Kudos to all the staff for their hospitality, kindness, and professionalism. 04/06/2026: I stopped for a quick lunch and it turned into an odyssey... Tuna tartare, I don't know if it was tuna, I couldn't tell from the taste or the color, I opted for fried calamari, 00 flour for sure, pieces of flour stuck to the calamari, (which I had to clean and scrape off with a fork and knife to get calamari out of it) not to mention the salt which at this point I think is their own property... I leave half of it on the plate, I opted for spaghetti with clams, 10 or so.... Salt to no end and a sauce made with broth....... That said, if you like salt this is the place for you, but be careful, you might find food in your salt plate.... 😅 🤦‍♀️
